She had a gut feeling that something bad was going to happen. Like the city was about to go into chaos. She drank the rest of her lemon tea that she ordered from the café Tess worked at. The owner took pity on the two, this was the only job Tess could get.

The story they told him, which was true, both applied for many jobs all save one denied them at entry of their applications. Only this little shop accepted Tess, they would accept Yugi too but, for some reason she cannot send another application through. Now she works under the books and gets food as part of her payment.

"Anzy," the shop owner called her. "Thank you for fixing the stove. Our 'real' mechanic is really bad, normally he would take two weeks to get the needed parts that (found out by you) were also in the hardware store."

"No problem, thanks for the meal." She beamed happily at the shop keeper.

"You deserve it. Take care now." Wishing her off he went back and did what an owner should, boss everyone around with that kind heart he owned.

She was glad now that her duel disk always needed to be fixed. After every duel she dueled the disk would fail in someway. Her disk was not the newest one of her era. She actually preferred the mock one duel disk. Well, actually the second mock; first to be mass marketed. KC stopped making mock one by the time of her era, but continued to sell parts for it. Now there might not be parts anymore even on the black duel market. She liked this one a lot. It was Yugi's her grandfather, the King of Games the duel disk that all three of them fought with. More or less, she was/is the Millennium Puzzle around their neck. Both boys the prince and the little one hold a really special place in her heart.

Without really realizing it she made it to town central, and if memory serves right this is also the original central more or less. Going near the fountain that sat center in the area she could not help notice the killer aura. Cautiously looking around she realized they too were duelist hanging around in groups some with motorcycles.

Noticing that the motorcycles looked somewhat like her and Tess' own. Yugi was now interested in what was going on, she took to finding a spot to sit down to wait. The way everyone is, it reminds her of the surroundings when the announcement for Battle City was officially let out by Kaiba. She was mused by the way and the level Kaiba took to announce Battle City.

Indeed it was like Battle City. Though no one came out of a helicopter to her slight disappointment. Everyone just looked at their DuelRunners and evil grins spread on their faces. Then and there Yugi realiezed this was not a good thing, nor was this going to be good. She got up from her seat and ran to an ally she needed to get her DuelRunner out and hopefully find out what was going on. Once deep enough into the ally did she release her Runner out of the card.

The sound of engines running told her she was too late to find out. But, the screaming told her what was going on. "Did duelists lose their pride to just simply cause havoc?" Yugi took out a hidden blade and ran it through her long hair leaving her bangs cutting most of her natural red highlights off. After putting her blade back she put the helmet back on -which did not fit as nicely as before.

Hoping on her DuelRunner she took off to challenge these so called duelists and show them true pride.
