DROP IN THE OCEAN

I watched Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments recently for the first time, so of course I created a plot. I will be honest, I haven't read the books. When I was younger I never got around to reading them and now I'm in college I don't think I'll have time to. Anyway, this is a plot based on the show.

We have the main OC, Morgan Bane, who was adopted by Magnus. She was a mundane when he found her and he raised her. Then she went ahead and messed with some potions, whilst in water, on a full moon, and ended up becoming a Mermaid. Her powers are inspired by the H2O mermaids because that's an iconic show. I love her and Magnus, but what I do currently adore the most is her developing relationship with Alec. As he gets closer to her Dad, they bond more. At one point he just accepts her as his own.

Then we have Quintessa Falconer, Clary's cousin on her Dad's side (not sure if I'll keep this or not) and she's a shadowhunter. Yes, just like her Dad, Morgan is a downworlder having a relatiosnhip with a shadow hunter. It seems they both have a type. Quinn is a badass but she's so soft around Morgan. I love them. Love a good OC x OC book.

Not sure about this though. It didn't end up as good as I thought it would. We have Alexxis Lemire as Morgan Bane and Kathryn Newton as Quintessa Falconer! My babies!
