Dylin smiled, watching Scott. He glanced down at the paper in front of him, covered in little traits and words. He couldn't count the number of times he'd wanted to say the things he'd jotted down. How many times he'd bit his tongue to hold back a compliment. Not that Scott didn't deserve to be complimented, don't get him wrong, he just couldn't find the courage to actually compliment the man who had completely and utterly stolen his heart.

Inhaling deeply, he folded the paper and strode over to Scott. A hardly noticeable dusting of freckles covered the bridge of Scott's nose. Dylin remembers laying in bed one night and trying to count them as his fiance slept soundly next to him. Scott's smile widened as he turned to Dylin.

"Hey, hon." Dylin smiled back, pressing a soft kiss to the corner of Scott's lips.

"Hey, babe." He gently presses the paper into Scott's hand, pecking his lips before turning away to grab a bottle of wine from the kitchen.

Scott unfolds the paper, shaking slightly. Why am I shaking? We're in way too deep for him to breakup... He reads over the scribbled notes, smiling as he nears the end.

"In case you didn't know
Baby I'm crazy bout you
And I would be lying if I said
That I could live this life without you
Even though I don't tell you all the time
You had my heart a long long time ago."

"I love you. Everything about you. So much that it hurts. Everytime I think of you, my chest tightens, filling me with pride at being able to call you mine."

Dozens of little phrases and song lyrics littered the page, Scott's eyes filling with tears as he read. He hears Dylin walk back out of the kitchen, feels him press a kiss into the skin where his jaw met his neck, yet rereads the paper before turning to Dylin.

He tosses his arms around Dylin's neck, burying his face into the crook of his shoulder. "I love you, too. Oh, my God, I love you so fucking much..." He hears Dylin's chest rumble as he chuckles.

"I love you more..."

A/N: I tried to write a oneshot/drabble based off 'In Case You Didn't Know' by Brett Young and I got a lil... Sidetracked. Ah, well. I think it turned out really well.
