Scarlet hair tousled, he stumbled into the house, drunk off his ass. I didn't bother confronting him, instead walking upstairs to grab some blankets. I walked back to the couch, spreading the blankets out then laying down and pulling them over myself. A slurred greeting sounded from him, causing me to curl up tighter. I can't do this anymore...

Sighing, I lay on the couch as he walked up to the bedroom. The whole situation was making me feel worse. Maybe... I shook my head. As much as he could cheat on me, I couldn't do it to him... It'd be nice to know I could if I wanted to, though...

I snorted at my thoughts. And who would you cheat with? Dan? Too big of an age gap. Fritz is just freaky, plus you don't want Freddy busting your balls. Timothy? I paused. Timothy wasn't in a relationship. But could I ever bring myself to cheat on Scott? I shook my head, knowing the answer. I couldn't hurt him like he's hurting me.

I woke up to the smell of whiskey and Scott standing over me, waiting for me to get up.

"Hmm?" I hummed, sitting up and rubbing the sleepiness from my eyes.

"Don't wait up for me. I'm gonna be gone for a while."

I nodded, watching him leave before sighing and sniffling.
