I smile, not really knowing how to respond to such a smart compliment. Though, I would greatly dislike him thinking I'm trying to avoid him, so I faintly thank him. Hmm... If I don't compliment back... Will he think I don't appreciate him? Because I really do... A lot...

"You're special too." I say, trying to not seem as if I'm not greatful for having him. He's my best friend. My only friend. Many other humans really don't like me, for some reason... I don't know what I did wrong, but whatever it is, hopefully it's not going to make everyone hate me even when I'm grown up. Hopefully Lou would be with me when I grow up. I'll ask him.

"Loulou, do you think we'll be friends when we grow up?"

"Will we come here, sail every week, just like now? To escape from the normies and still be pirates?"

Lou giggles and plays with the water, softly splashing it. His smile is as adorable as it can be. Wrinkles surrounds his face, mostly at the corners of his blueberry eyes. He lets out the most angelic sound, I wish I can replace it with the chirping birds in the mornings. He's truly the finest work of God.

"Harold?" He slowly turns his face to me, staring with eyes showing worry. Before I could respond, his eyes start to melt, tears and tears gushes out if his blueberries.

"Lou? Lou, whats happening!?" I yell as more and more salty liquid spills out. It slowly starts to fill in the entire little boat that we both made a few days ago, making it heavier and heavier. I fall off the boat, he repeats my actions, but instead of staying at float, he sinks in the water and repeatedly whines out my name,
