Changes
"You excited?" Black glanced sideways at her as they waited on the train platform. "We're going back to Blagmoor Castle..."
"Luke and a few other of our trusted Generals have been keeping everything ticking over while we've been away." Rylan said. "I've already rung them and told them that we've started our journey back."
"How long even is the journey?" Juniper sighed, shifting her weight from one foot to another.
"Around five days."
"WHAT?!"
"Pookie Bear, there's nothing that can be done." Black said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
"I get travel sick." She said, her face pale. "It's at its worse on trains! Not to mention anti sickness drugs don't work on me..." She sunk to the floor. "I'll die before I get to Blagmoor..."
"It's take a good week or so of driving to cover the same distance, so you'd be ill either way." Rylan chimed in helpfully, boarding the train once it had pulled into the station. "We're in carriages A through to F – all First Class."
"First Class?" Juniper asked, her eyebrows knotting together.
"We'll be sleeping in the posh area, away from everyone else on the train... Though from the sounds of how many carriages we've booked up, it doesn't seem like many other people will be on the train." Black explained, looking slightly amused by Juniper's cluelessness about trains. "Whenever we travel, we tend to go First Class... It's one of the perks of being Alphas, or their mates." He said, nudging Juniper softly. "And before you ask, no we don't have a whole carriage to ourselves... so I'm afraid we won't be able to- oof!"
Juniper removed her fist from his stomach, striding onto the train without any hesitation, sitting down by Lyra, Rylan's mate.
"Where's your mate?" She asked, looking around for Black, who was soon sitting on her other side.
"Here." Black smiled, watching as Juniper quickly stood.
"I need to go to the toilet." She said.
"She's going to be a handful..." Black mumbled, staring after her as she stormed away.
Juniper turned. "That's why you've got two hands!"
Black sniggered. "I love her already..."
"I hope you love her enough to stay away from the bottle." Rylan sighed, pulling his mate into his lap, snuggling up against her as the whistle sounded, the train slowly chugging out of the station. "You probably ought to go and check up on your mate." Pale blue eyes met his deep brown ones. "She did say she was terrible with trains."
"Where do you think I'm going?!" Black asked, already striding out of the carriage and to the nearest toilet. "Pookie Bear?" He called, tapping on the flimsy door.
Juniper threw up in answer to his question.
"Open the door, Juniper." He sighed.
"No."
"Fine." Black said, transforming himself into a tiny ant, crawling under the door through the tiny crack, before he changed back to his human form.
Juniper squeaked in surprise, blinking as he held her long brown hair back as she continued emptying the contents of her stomach into the toilet.
"You aren't pregnant, are you?"
Juniper snorted, wincing as she started dry heaving.
"Dinner is soon..." He said, looking down at her in concern. "Are you going to be able to eat anything...?" He asked, watching as she shook her head with vigour before promptly collapsing, her face pressed against the toilet seat. "Pookie..." Black sighed, gathering her up into his arms, taking her back to a different carriage.
One with a brown-haired Alpha with his hair tied back in a ponytail. An Alpha Juniper recognised instantly. The Alpha of Medicine. Hunter.
Black exchanged some hushed whispers with him, their gazes occasionally drifting back to Juniper as she lay across the leather sofa, her eyes half shut as she fought to keep herself from throwing up again.
The medical kit was in Hunter's hands in an instant. "I suppose it'll make the journey easier for her..." He mumbled, watching as Black carried his mate to one of the beds in the lower part of the carriage, down a small set of steps. "I don't think I've ever seen a case this bad before..."
A needle slipped into her skin, an odd numbness seeping through her as she closed her eyes, feeling oddly exhausted all of a sudden as unconsciousness took hold, and it didn't let go of her for five days. So, by the time Juniper opened her eyes again, she was inside Blagmoor Castle, a small plaster the only evidence of what had happened.
"Well..." Black smiled down at her as she woke up, her eyes fluttering open as she lay atop the white sheets of the unfamiliar bed. "You hungry?"
"Starving."
"Well then. Let's go and grab some." He said, offering her a hand. "Ry's just made dinner."
"Good." Juniper said, hurrying down the stairs, following the smell of food to the dining room, freezing at the figure talking to the Alpha King in the kitchen.
"Pookie Bear?" Black stared curiously at her.
"Alby..." She whispered, staring at her oldest brother. "Albion."

ILLENIS HERE
Alas, another shortish chapter. I'm trying to keep all my chapters over 1000 words, and I seem to be getting better at it, especially over this book. Though I have a feeling this book might be shorter than Shatter Me.
Black's ability will be explained a bit, but I'm hoping you should be able to put some pieces together.
Well. Until next time.
See you then.
