Chapter 8- Going Back
Your P.O.V
"Are you sure you still want to do this Dylan? You can still go home now while you have the opportunity. I'm not going to force you to come inside with me." You tell Dylan, glancing away from the pizzeria to look at him.
"No. I'm going to do this. I also want to see for myself if the animatronics can actually turn human. I still don't quite believe you about that. That seems a bit far fetched." He says, looking at the pizzeria nervously.
"Well, I'm going to head inside now. You can come in anytime you are ready." You tell him as you begin to walk towards the pizzeria.
"Wait Y/N, I want to come in with you. If you leave me out here alone that Vincent guy might show up and kill me because we came here. I don't want to take that chance at all." He pants as he runs to catch up to you.
"Alright then let's go inside." You tell him, walking over to the door and knocking on it.
Dylan stands behind you moving nervously. You both stand there outside, waiting for someone to come and let you two inside. You begin to wonder if anyone will let you in, but your hear a bunch of panicked footsteps running towards the door. The door opens up to reveal a flustered looking Bonnie. You smile at him, and his face tints with pink.
"Hello Bonnie. Do you mind letting us in? It's kind of chilly out here." You ask him smiling.
He quickly hakes his head 'Yes' and steps aside to let you and Dylan in. You both walk inside the warm pizzeria and the chill that had begun to sink into your bones just seems to melt away. Once the two of you are both inside, Bonnie closes the door and walks over to you.
"What are you doing here Y/N? And who is your friend that you brought with you?" Bonnie asks you with his still flushed face.
"This is Dylan. He's my roommate. And we came here tonight because we have something very important that we need to talk to you guys about. Is Mike here too?" You ask, still smiling.
"Yea, he's here. I think he is trying to get Foxy to stop singing his stupid pirate songs. He's been singing them all night and it giving everyone a headache." Bonnie says, his face no longer flushed.
"You think you could go get him? We really need to talk and the longer it waits, the worse things will get." You tell him, glancing at Dylan who is shifting uncomfortably.
"I'll go get him. Why don't you two sit down at one of the tables while I do so that you aren't standing around." Bonnie tells you, pointing to one of the tables.
"Thanks Bonnie. We will be waiting there for you and Mike." You say to him smiling.
Bonnie gives you a smile before he walks off to go and find Mike for you. You and Dylan walk over to one of the booths and take a seat across from each other. Once you both are seated, Dylan puts his head on the table.
"Are you alright Dylan? You seem a bit on edge." You tell him, looking at him worriedly.
"I'm surprised that you aren't on edge Y/N. You seem so relaxed when you talk to Bonnie. It's like you completely forget that he's a robot." Dylan says into the table.
"It's not very hard to forget that he is a robot. You just have to look at him as if he is a human, which he is right now. You just need to relax Dylan. They aren't going to hurt us. If they do I promise that we will never return here again." You tell him.
Dylan lifts his head up off the table and looks at you questioningly. "Do you promise?"
"Cross my heart." You say making a gesture of making an X over your heart.
"I'm going to hold you too that Y/N." He says, putting his head back down on the table.
You just nod your head and look around the pizzeria. You can see a warm glow coming from the kitchen and the smell of pizza coming front that direction as well. You stomach rumbles and you remember that you haven't ate yet. You push that thought to the side knowing that there is much more important matters to think about right now.
You hear two sets of footsteps coming from behind you. Shifting in your seat you turn to see Bonnie and Mike emerging from the hallway leading to Pirate's Cove. Mike looks frazzled and tired. Bonnie is grinning happily and seems to be well rested compared to Mike. The two of the walk over and sit down. Bonnie beside you and Mike beside Dylan. Dylan lifts his head and looks at Mike with fear in his eyes. You pushes himself against the wall trying to put space between him and Mike.
"Which animatronic is this and why does he look like he's about to murder someone. I thought you said that they weren't going to hurt us." Dylan squeals as he panics.
"Dylan calm down. He's not even an animatronic. That's Mike. He's the security guard here. And the reason he looks like he's about to murder someone is because he's been trying to get a robot pirate fox to stop singing all night. I'm pretty sure anyone who had to deal with that would look like he does right now if they had to deal with that." You tell him, trying to hold back laughter at your friends stupidity.
"Oh." Is all he says as he sits back normally and relaxes.
Mike looks at Dylan questioningly, but just shakes his head and turns his attention towards you.
"So why are you back so soon Y/N? And Bonnie said you had something important to talk to us about." Mike asks, resting his arms on the table.
"Yes. You remember last night when I had to leave all of a sudden because something was going on at my house right?" You ask him.
"Yes. What does that have to do with anything?" He questions.
"Well, when I got home there was a man there. He had Dylan and he told me to never return to the pizzeria again. The mans name was Vincent. I came here hoping that maybe you guys would know who he is and why he doesn't want me returning here." You tell them.
"So you did the opposite of what he said and came back anyways to get more information on him?" Bonnie asks, a confused look on his face.
"Well, what else could I have done? I highly doubt that if I googled his name I would get anything that would actually help me figure out who he is." You say.
"I guess that makes sense, but what happens if he finds out that you came back?" Mike asks, looking concerned.
"He said that nothing pleasant would be happening. He didn't give any specifics though." You tell them.
"Well, since you came back I suggest that you stay here until we can figure out who is is and what he has planned. Or even why he told you to stay away from here. The big boss closed the place down smile awhile too so you won't have to hide during the day either. Your friend however better go home. Someone needs to stay there in case the Vincent guy shows up with another message. It shouldn't be you Y/N considering the fact that you are his target. If you stay home alone, he will probably come and kill you in your sleep." Mike says.
"Where will I be sleeping then? And will I be able to go home and get some clothes and stuff if I'm going to be staying here?" You ask, not wanting to be wearing the same clothes for days on end.
"I'm pretty sure Bonnie wouldn't mind sharing his room with you and yes you can. I just want you to take Bonnie with you just in case that Vincent guy is at your house waiting for you. If he is and Bonnie is with you, at least you will have some form of protection against the guy." Mike says.
Your cheeks heat up at Mike's words. You look over at Bonnie who now has a flustered face once again. You smile at him.
"You better go home now and get back as soon as possible. I'll inform everyone here what's going on while you are gone." Mike says standing up and walking off.
Bonnie gets up soon after, allowing you to get up as well.
"I guess we better get going." Bonnie says, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Guess we better." You reply smiling.
"Let's just go you two love birds." Dylan says, storming out of the pizzeria.
You smile and follow him, Bonnie close behind.

It's been a long time since I wrote a chapter for this book. I've missed it. But, I'm on a writing kick right now so pretty much all my books are being updated. Next one to be updated is The Boy With The Golden Hair and I'll see all you Lovely Little Foxes there.
