SCARLET POV
I packed my final bag and tossed it into the van. I had just rented a nice cozy house that would be pretty easy to defend on purge night. Our plan? Move to a different town for purge night. Why? Because people here go insane. Last year we barely survived because some dude betrayed us and tried to kill us, luckily Tina had quick reflexes and knocked him out for the remaining three hours that were left. I am snapped out of my thoughts when I hear someone calling my name "hm?" I him as I look towards our neighbors. Their little nine year-old little girl was running towards me, so when she reached me, I picked her up "Whats up Anna?" I ask "Where are you going?" She asked me, so I sighed "We're going out of town for purge night." I said while looking at her parents. Their house has never been touched because of an electrical fence and their house is pretty boarded down on purge night, just so they can protect Anna. "Can I come with you?!" She yelled, excited. I looked at her parents and they nodded while mouthing "She'll be safer with you." To me, so I nodded "I think your mommy and daddy agree that you can so sure! Go get your stuff packed and meet us here, ok?" I told her and set her down. She ran off to gather her stuff and I saw her parents giving me sad but warm smiles, so I smiled back. "So we're taking Anna with us?" I heard Tina ask "Yep!" I respond "how will we protect her?" Midnight asks "I dont know about you, but if anyone touches her, im gonna kill em." I say as my protective side for the nine year-old takes over "Understood." Tina says as she goes to her motorcycle and rides to the store, most likely to get our weapons. Midnight gets her motorcycle also and rides after Tina, most likey to get our food and stuff.

Tina POV
I go to the check-out area with midnight "This'll be paid together." I say as the clerk looks at me and he nods "Stocking up for Purge?" He asks and I nod "Moving to a different town for it too." I say as he nods sadly "You guys barely survived last time as I heard." He states and I nod "Backstabbing bas-" I was cut of by Midnight "We were betrayed, meaning we ain't trusting people this time." She says as I sigh. She had a list so I looked at it

Milk ✔️
Chicken ✔️
Snacks ✔️
Tea ✔️
Water ✔️

I sighed and took the bags and thanked the clerk as Midnight paid. We grab our motorcycles and ride off to the house and lock down the motorcycles and climb into the car already seeing Anna and Scarlet in there. "So we need a plan." Scarlet says as we start talking about what we could do. We decided no killing for fun, just for defense, dont trust anyone, and never leave the house unless nesecessery. Anna nods even though I bet she doesn't understand "Anna do you need us to break that down for you?" I ask her sweetly and she nods a little "Ok, so we dont leave the house- at all unless we absouloutly need too-,  dont trust anyone, and we aren't gonna hurt anyone for fun, ok?" I say and she nods

Midnight POV
It was night time and Anna was asleep "I just came up with an idea!" I whisper and Scarlet and Tina look at me "And?" They ask "We could burn that old town near here! Its abandoned!" I say but I realize that goes against leaving the house "We can do it, but one of us has to stay here with Anna." Scarlet says and Tina raises her hand "I wont let anyone touch her." She says and Scarlet nods "Two days till purge, ladies. Lets rest up and sharpen weapons, this is gonna be a good one, I can tell." Scarlet says and we nod, heading to our rooms.
