The room was dark in the Pokémon Center. All lights were out, all noise was subsided except for the light breathing of two trainers who were sleeping.

On one bed lay Locket with her Chespin and her old stuffed animal named Horsey. The three were snuggled close together.

On the other bed lay Armor. Since all of his Pokémon were in the PC he didn't have anything to hold onto.

Gray eyes slowly opened with sleep still glazed on them.

It's Christmas! The girl thought. She was careful on getting out of her bed as to not wake up her Chespin.

Quickly Locket made her way to the two bags she had from the day before. Inside the bags were the carefully wrapped presents she had bought for her two friends. The wrapping paper she had put over the gifts were in patterns of the ice type Pokémon symbol.

I hope they like what I got them!

Looking at the time, Locket smiled. It was only 6:20 which meant she had at least an hour before Armor and Chespin would wake up.

Locket lifted the presents out the bags and placed them on her bed. If she left them there then they wouldn't get messed up so easily.

With a small smile Locket moved around the side of the bed to get closer to Chespin.

The spiny nut Pokémon was snoring lightly and unmoving. Good, he hadn't yet noticed the lack of an extra person in the bed. If he woke up now then that wouldn't be good for the young girl. She had a surprise for everyone and needed the extra hour to finish up.

Locket leaned forward, placing her right hand on Chespin's forehead. Her smile grew slightly at the sight of her partner unconsciously nuzzling into her palm. Carefully she moved her hand and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"Sleep soundly for a little longer my friend." The former performer whispered.

Turning around, Locket smiled to Armor's sleeping figure. The way most of the blankets were on him made the girl giggle.

The blankets had formed into a dress looking style. Parts of the males arms, legs, and back weren't covered properly.

Being considerate, Locket moved to the other bed and fixed the blankets to where they covering her friend.

"You sleep silly." Locket mused to herself.

Out of pure innocence she raised her hand and let it run through the males spiky hair. She'd be lieing if she said she never wanted to touch it. His hair was just mesmerizing to her.

After a few moments Locket left the room to go change into her new travel clothes along with her new swimsuit underneath.

By the time everyone had woken up and gotten ready for the day it was already 7:45.

Locket and Chespin were sitting on the floor, against their bed with presents in their grasp. They were waiting for Armor, who was already sitting down across from them with presents of his own.

"Merry Christmas everyone!" Locket smiled.

The three each handed out their presents and began to open them.

Chespin received a box of Poképuffs, and a soothe bell from Locket and a bag of Pokébeans from Armor.

Locket cheered in delight at her presents. She received a Thunder Stone from Chespin and a Espurr plushie from Armor.

Armor smiled at his presents. He received an Ice Stone from Chespin and a keychain with a Gracedia flower and Jirachi on it.

The three of them all exchanged a hug before getting up to put their things away.

"Ready to go surfing you two?" Armor asked excitedly.

"Good job! Now turn your board and start paddling, that waves coming in quick! Remember to keep both feet on the board and keep going straight!"

Armor coached from a fair distance away from Locket. They were now on the beach side Hau'oli City and had spent the whole afternoon practice surfing.

Now it was the first real time Locket would try out surfing in the water.

Normally a wetsuit was recommended, but Locket was way too thrilled to use her own swimsuit instead. The swimsuit was a simple blue one piece. There were tiny frills at the bottom that made into a small skirt. To keep herself safe she also wore a life jacket. As for Armor he wore gray swim trunks. On shore was Chespin, who was busy making sand castles.

"Like this?" Locket paddled forward a little before standing up right before a decent sized wave caught her.

For the moment everything was relaxing and peaceful on the wave. Until a larger one came in, wiping her off the board and into the water.

"Locket!" Armor yelled out.

Locket had resurfaced from her wipe out but something was off. Her arms were flailing about as she tried to keep her head above the water.

He paddled his board as quickly as he could to where the blunette was now going fully under water and frantically tried to help the girl up onto his board.

When Locket was safely on his board he grabbed her life jacket. It appeared to not have been fastened properly and came off.

The shore wasn't too far away and but it wasn't too close either. Judging by the way Locket was looking, scared the male even worse than the distance of shore was.

I have to hurry or else!

Using all his strength, Armor raced on his board to get to shore. Once there he looked around for help. But only Chespin was there and probably wouldn't know what to do anyway.

Knowing what to do, Armor moved above Locket to see if she breathing. No... Panic began build in male as he tried to cheek for a pulse but got none in response.

Calm down, calm down everything's going to be fine. You know what to do, you took a class on CPR when you were younger.

Gathering as much memory as he could, Armor placed the heel of his palms on the girls chest and started pressing down. He proceeded with this several more times before checking for breathing again. Nothing.

Come on Locket! Stay with us. Do it for Chespin... and me!

Armor tilted Locket's head back and lifted her chin, pinching her nose.

Armor's lips neared Locket's ready to perform the next step of CPR when the girl suddenly coughed up some water. The action scared the male into pulling back and blushing a deep shade of red.

Locket's eyes sprung open as she coughed, some water coming out now and then.

"L-Locket?" Armor's voice came out shaky as he waiting to see if the girl was okay.

Hesitantly Locket reached an arm out to Armor. She wanted to make sure she could move at least one of her body parts before doing more movements.

"Th-thank you for saving me A-Armor." The blunette's voice came out shaky but still remained happy.

Armor swore he could've burst into tears no matter what would've been said.

He embraced the girl in a hug before pulling back a little to stare into the girls eyes.

Wait a second... The males face paled at the position they were in. He was straddling the Locket's legs and was positioned over her lap. On top of that he had both hands placed on either side of Locket's face.

It's a good thing no one else was around or else he'd be sure to get scolded at.

"S-s-sorry!" Armor quickly got up and held a hand out. He kept his gaze anywhere but on Locket as he lifted her to her feet.

"Sorry about what?"

Before the male could explain Chespin had jumped into his trainers arms. Fear was plastered across his face as he buried his face into the girls shoulder.

"Don't worry Chespin. I'm fine, just a little weak feeling but okay."

The spiny nut Pokémon clung to his trainer as though she was going to leave him. He only looked up once and motioned for Armor to help Locket.

"Here put your arm over my shoulder. We need to get you to a Pokémon Center to get checked out."

Locket nodded and did as told. She leaned close to Armor as they made their way back to the Pokémon Center.
