Manga Bond

After winning her second princess key, Locket had decided to visit Laverre City!

Navi had offered to take her, Aria, and Armor there by using his Slowking's teleport. So the group decided to do just that, although Armor did seem like he wanted nothing to do with the pink eyed trainer.

Having arrived in Laverre City the group decided to go there seperate ways for the day since there was still some light out.

The gymnast and pink eyed male parted ways to go check out a boutique in the city. As for Locket and Armor they decided to stop by the Laverre City library!

The Laverre City library stood at a towering three stories high, not nearly as big as the tree in the center of the City though.

The interior of the library was by far more umpressive than the exterior. The first floor was for young readers such as elementary school students. A mini show room was located in the back of the floor. Going to the second and third floor - you could take the stairs or the elevator. The pair took the elevator to check out the second floor next.

The second floor was for asult readers. The floor had a Jirachi Pokébucks in the center where one could eat and read peacfully. Taking the elevator, again, the pair maid it to there destination.

The third floor, for preteens and teens. To most this floor was the cool floor. Not only did the third floor have it's own manga section, it also had a game room! The game allowed anyone to all acess passes to reading while battling with their Pokémon, creating inventions, etc!

However, Locket didn't want to get caught up in a great game. She wanted to get caught up in a great book!

Ever since the princess had run away she hadn't much time catch up on her favorite manga series; "Glaze: Finding Myself."

Manga's were forbidden to be read in the castle, but Locket's grandmother always found a way to sneak them into the young princess' grasp.

"Armor! Armor! I found the manga section, but it doesn't seem like anyone comes over here anymore. The area looks so secluded and hidden... Almost as if nobody wants this area to be here... I bet they don't even have it."

Sadness filled the air when realization that Glaze: Finding Myself's latest volume may not even be there.

"Don't have what?" Armor asked as soon as he managed to reach the hidden manga area.

It was true that the manga area was mostly dusty and hidden. A few Joltic webs hung overhead as well.

"It's this manga I like called Glaze: Finding Myself. I haven't kept up to date with it so-"

"Wait, you like Glaze: Finding Myself too?" Armor interrupted. He didn't mean to interrupt his friend on purpose, but was too excited.

"Like it? I love it! The way Glaze always keeps going on even though she doesn't know who her true self is is just fascinating!"

The two smiled at each other for several moments before Armor averted his gaze. He beckoned for the performer to sit at one of the tables in the manga section.

Together the two sat down next to each other, Armor grabbing something out of his backpack.

"You know that thing that was so important that I had to do today? Well it just so happened that the next volume of GFM came out today and I just had to go get it. If you want we could read it together."

The male placed his shiny new volume of Glaze: Finding Myself on the table. He let the performer take off the plastic around it.

"Let's open the cover together." Suggested Locket.

Before the male could respond in any way, Locket placed his hand on the cover with hers over his. Together the two opened the cover of their favorite manga.

"When I was alone I used to wish that when I died I could get re born into someone who know's who they are. But now I'm finally glad with who I am. I've finally found myself."

The soft voice of Locket read the text bubbles from the manga she shared with Armor.

Night had fallen some time ago and yet both trainers stayed at the library to take turns reading their favorite manga.

As Locket read, Armor ran his fingers gently through her faded blue hair. The performer didn't mind one bit, it felt nice and honestly made her a bit tired.

"This was the final volume... I liked it, even if took 39 volumes to finish the series." Locket half mumbled. She rested her head down on the table only to lift her head up again to rub her eyes.

"Yeah... Ready to go back to the Pokémon Center? I'm sure Aria's waiting for us by now."

Nodding Locket stood up, grabbing the manga. The day had taken a toll on her making it hard for her to do much at the moment, but the performer was a fighter when to sleep.

The male noticed his friends slow movements and asked if she was okay.

The performer nodded off for a moment but recived a jolt from her brain telling her body to wake up. And suddenly she had her second wind of energy.

"Yup, let's go!"

Together the two walked out of the library side by side. The starry night sky greated the trainers as they left.

I can't believe the great day I've had so far!

A weak grin crept up on the girls face as she thought about her day. The paat days hadn't gone so well, but everything seemed to be turning around for her now.

Remembering that she still had the manga in her hands, Locket handed it back to Armor.

The male took the manga, putting in his backpack, and smiled. He was glad to have spent some time with his friend.

Discovering that Locket liked the same manga as he made the male extremely happy.

Thanks for the great day. The two thought in sync.
