Locket ran down the busy sidewalk of Lumious City with Aria following close behind. News of a showcase happening in Lumious City gave the performer such a rush of energy that she practically dragged her travel companions to the City!

It was strange how the group had arrived to the light up City that morning. Hardly any performer's were signed up and when asked if some wpuld sign up they just turned.

"I wonder what's up with everyone's attitude this morning." Aria bluntly said. Though there were many citizen's around they paid no mind to the rude comment.

Locket scratched the back of her head in awkwardness. She smiled as her friend in a gentle way.

Today it was just the two of them, though it didn't feel any different to Aria. She was always getting left behind.

Right now Armor was busy taking care of an errand, so he wouldn't be able to watch the showcase with Aria in the audience.

Aria balled her hands into fists when she and Locket made it the showcase stadium. If only she could be closer to someone to spend time with.

Taking a seat in the audience Aria watched the lights dim and a tall man appear on the stage. The man's name was Pierre and was announcing the theme performance - Poképuff Baking. He went on about how a Kalos Queen needed to be skillful in the culinary arts and such.

Who would've guessed that a Kalos Queen had to bake a lot!

Aria sat in silence as she watched performer by performer attempt to bake a Poképuff worthy of taste. Each Poképuff looked absolutely too good to eat from where the pigtailed girl sat, but knowing how harsh judging could be, Aria held her breath.

Being a gymnast is one thing and performing is another... But I told Locket that they're similar. I wonder if-

"Next up to the stage is Robin Jenson, Locket Cantu, and Blossom Twing!" Pierre announced, interrupting Aria's thoughts.

Her eye's widened as she watched her friend baking in sync with her Chespin and Espurr. It was as if they were one person!

"That girl with the Chespin and Espurr really is something isn't she?"

Aria turned to her side at hearing the sound of a males voice. Her heart pounded as she stared into an unknown males pink eyes.

"Yeah, she's my friend." Aria blushed. Her palms began to sweat a little, her heart pounded rapidly. For a moment she feared the whole audience could hear it.

Why do I feel like this all of a sudden? I've never felt this way before...

The male sitting next to Aria shifted a bit in his seat so he could talk a bit more with her.

"Is that so? I find that very cool. My name's Navigate Everand, but I go by Navi." Navi said, extending out his hand.

Discretely Aria wiped her hand on her yellow skirt before shaking Navi's hand.

"Y-yeah... The names A-Aria Hollite, but you can call me whatever y-you'd like if you like."

Navi chuckled to himself before pointing down at the stage.

"Hey I think your friend just won the theme performance. These were the last set of performers so that means next she'll performer in the freestyle performance."

Nodding, Aria returned her attention to the stage. She felt buoyant for her friend's win in the theme performance, as well as for herself.

"Hey Navi?" Aria started. She kept her eye's on the stage as the first freestyle performance began. "Do you think that a gymnast could become a performer if she tried?"

The pink eyed male turned to look at the pigtailed girl in curiosity. There was something about this girl that made her seem so interesting.

"Of course. Both a gymnast and a performer both compete to be number one in their areas of abilities. I don't see why a gymnast can't become a performer. Are you by chance a gymnast?"

Nodding, Aria closed her eyes. She leaned back in her seat crossing her legs.

"I just so happen to be a gymnast, yes."

Navi's pink eyes grew. He leaned closer to Aria with a thoughtful smile.

"Wow! You're one cool girl to be friend's with a performer, be a gymnast, and want to be a performer! Do you have any plans to become registered in the performer business?"

When the gymnast opened her eyes she didn't expect the male to be so close. On accident she headbutted him, blushing a bright red.

"I'm so sorry Navi! I didn't think you'd be that close."

The male rubbed his head a bit, smiling a bit.

"Don't sweat it I'm fine. Are you okay?"

"J-just super!" A hint of irritability was heard but was replaced with kindness. "Going back to what you asked a moment ago... I do have plans on registering to become a performer soon, but for now I'm just going to cheer on my friend. Once Master Class is over, I'm for sure signing up!"

Navi smiled to the gymnast. He then returned his attention to the stage, where Locket was performing with her Chespin and Espurr.

"Your friend is really talented... But I bet your just as equally talented."

Heat radiated off of the gymnasts face from the comment she got. A big goofy smile placed it's self on her until it was time to vote.

Locket's glowcaster color was green, so Aria picked the green color. Through the corner of her eye Aria could see Navi pick Locket's color as well.

I wonder if he'd pick my color too if I were a performer?

"One, two, three!"

Dozen's of colorfully lights were released from eaxh glowcaster in the audience. The showcase auditorium glowed for a moment before the lights went out.

Two spotlights danced across the stage until they landed on Locket!

"Way'ta go Locket!" Aria pumped her fist in the air. She blushed some more when she turned to see Navi smiling at her.

For a split second it looked as if Navi was blushing as well.
