A Strange Light
What did Angel mean by the light of secretd has returned? Locket thought to herself.
The group of three had settled for the night in Cyllage City's Pokémon Center. All of their Pokémon had been left in Nurse Joy and Wigglytuff's care for the night.
All was silent in darkening night. Aria and Armor had retired to bed early so they could cheer thier friend on at the following showcase. As for Locket, she lay under the covers of her seperate bed.
She got so close and ready to hit me, but than... Light of secrets? Could she have just said that because of my outfit? Maybe I should talk to Armor and Aria about it!.... But they're asleep. Oh, maybe Chespin and Espurr can help!... On second thought, they're with Nurse Joy... Guess I'm alone on this one...
Sighing, the gray eyed performer sat up in her bed. She looked around the dark room to make sure her friends were asleep. And in deed they were.
Ever so quietly Locket got up from the bed. She slipped on some green fluffy slippers and proceeded to the door. Glancing over her shoulder she looked to Armor. The last time she snuck out at night he had followed her.
Deep down Locket pleaded for her male friend to wake up and follow her, but he kept still in his sleep.
Come on Armor! Wake up and help me solve this weirdness!
Quickly the young performer darted across the Pokémon Center and out into the cold night.
For some reason the night felt a little ominous. It was as if a pair of eyes were watching her every movement.
"Hello?" Locket chanced. She looked around her dark surroundings before taking a daring step out towards the patio of the Center.
No response. Just a gentle breeze.
Taking a deep breath, Locket approached the patio of the Center. She turned her eyes to meet a medium sized water fountail pooling water.
That looks pretty.
From within the fountain a soft melody could be heard. It sounded like Orasion.
Walking over to the fountain, Locket kneeled over to examine it. She took note that the fountain appeared to be old and worn out, the bottom couldn't be seen. Not to mention a pair of black angle looing wings reflected in the water.
Gasping, the gray eyed girl turned around to be meet with nothing in particular.
Awkwardly Locket laughed. She turned her attention back to the water filled fountain to stare at it some more. The black angle wings were gone yet it still felt like they were there...
The melody of Orasion seemed to be fading away after awhile. And for a breif moment the sound of someone singing could be heard.
Locket shivered when she felt the night breeze on her skin. She slowly re-entered the Center, unaware that a certain sillohoute sat perched on a street light centimeters away from were Locket was just at.

"Morning Aria and Armor! Who's ready to go on over to the Cyllage City Showcase!" Chirped Locket.
It was only 6:30 a.m. and yet all three friends were dressed and ready to go.
All Pokémon had been retrieved by 6:20 a.m. which granted Locket access to talking to her Pokémon again.
"We know your excited Locket, but calm down a bit. The showcase and you aren't going anywhere any time soon." Aria replied. The pigtailed girl wasn't used to getting up so early in the mornings. Of course she did have a playful and energetic younger sibling named Mira though.
"I can't calm down when I know I'm going to be late for something! I have to get going, I'll just meet you both after the Showcase is over." Locket complained. She grabbed her seafoam colored backpack as she ran out through the Pokémon Center's doors quickly. Looking over to the water fountain Locket had a double take.
The fountain appeared to have been moved from it's original location. Unsure, Locket advanced to the fountain. She kneeled over to look inside the fountain carefully to find the same pair of black angle wings behind her. Gasping, Locket threw her hands to the sides of her head. An orchestral melody of horror played loudly in her ears.
"Locket! Watch out!" Was the last thing Locket heard before she was shoved from behind into the fountain.
Down the ever darkening fountain went Locket. She shut her eyes tightly as she realised that there was no water surrounding her. Instead of water, it was air.
Forcing her gray eyes open, Locket also realised that she could see light nearing.
What? Is happening?!
The light engulfed the fallen girl and wrapped it's way around her body.
Once the light filled the final gap on her back it exploded around her - teleporting her out of the fountain.
Out came Locket from the fountain. She lay on the grass dazed and slightly confused to what just happened.
A strong pair of arms wrapped around her. With half lidded eyes, Locket looked up to see Armor holding her protectivly. He appeared to be looking at someone infront of them.
"So it is true... She is the light..." The voice spoke.
Automatically Locket tensed up at realizing who's voice it was. It was none other than Angel Wings.
Noticing how Locket tensed up, Armor pulled her closer. He wore a look of determination that said I'll protect her no matter what you try.
Lifting an arm, Locket gripped a piece of Armor's shirt in her hand. This caused the male to look down at her with worry.
"What is it?"
Glancing to where Angel once was, Locket shock her head.
"Don't bother, she's gone." Whispered Locket. She gestured to where Angel was no longer at. Looking back to Armor, Locket curled up into herself as best as she could. The light had somehow drained all the energy right out of her.
Taking the hint, the male picked up Locket in a bridal style manner and carried her back inside the Pokémon Center.
"You know, when you feel in the fountain... I tried to go in after you, but... it was if there was no way I could've possibly gone in. It was like an invisible wall. Maybe that girl had a Pokémon using a move to block me or something like that... But that doesn't matter now. Are you okay?"
Nodding, Locket closed her eyes. She felt a hand press softly against her forehead.
"I promise I'll protect you next time."
