A Dance Party (Part 1)
For the past hour, Locket, Armor, and Aria had all been talking about an invitation to a dance party! The dance party located in Coumarine City and was for performers only, plus a date.
It had taken a great deal of time to decide on what the group would do during the dance party.
As much as Aria wanted to go she couldn't, because she wasn't a registered performer, she was a gymnast. As for Locket and Armor, they decided to go together, as friends, for the gray eyed girl didn't know what a date was... Chespin and Espurr on the other hand were going together as if they were a couple.
Now Locket and Armor stood outside a large building were the dance party was being hosted. Several performers were already inside getting ready or outside with their dates.
"We should go inside and get signed in." Suggested Locket. She was eager to get the dance party started.
Before Armor could say anything, Locket had already gone inside the building.
"W-wait up!"
The male trainer quickly caught up to his 'date' just as she was getting two cards.
"Thank you!" Locket told the workers that gave her the two cards. She turned to go give Armor his cards but bumped into someone.
"Sorry!"
"Are you okay?"
Locket looked at the person she had bumped into to see it was Armor. She giggled and handed him his card.
"I'm alright. Here, this is your card. The workers said it's for a special event later."
Armor glady took his card with a smile. Hopefully the special event would be something he could do alongside Locket.
"Also, they said we could rent some outfits for the dance party in the room next door."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Coming out from seperate dressing rooms were Locket and Armor. Dressed in a sea foam ballade dress was Locket. Dresssed in a purple and blue ballade suit was Armor.
The two smiled at how the other looked before heading into the designated dance party room.
The room was huge with a great deal of performers just starting to enter. Colorful lights were all around the room along with tables with yummy looking food.
The gray eyed girl was just about to grab a plate from a near by table when the lights went out.
All eyes shifted to a single spotlight were Pierre and the Kalos Queen, Serena, was at.
"Thank you all, ladies and gentlemen, for graciously attending my dance party. To start off, Serena and I shall have a dance."
Pierre took Serena's hand to guide her to the dance floor. Following the two was Klefki and Sylveon. The pairs danced elegantly together, spinning, moving in sync. As the song ended Pierre announced the dance floor open to everyone.
Performer's and their Pokémon paired up, including Chespin and Espurr, beginning to dance. As for Locket and Armor they decided to grab something to eat from the tables of available food around them.
The green eyed male decided on some fresh oran berrues. The gray eyed girl decided on chocolate covered marshmallows.
The two happily ate their picked out foods as they watched the other performers and Pokémon dance.
One pair in particular caught their attention, Chespin and Espurr.
The spiky nut Pokémon was holding Espurr's paws as the spim in place together. The feline Pokémon had a look of peacefulness as she spun with Chespin.
"You kno-" Locket began but was cut off when the music stopped for Pierre to announce that a rotation dance had begun.
Two large circles formed on the dance floor, one for the Pokémon and one for the trainers. In each circles girls were on one side with guys on the other. Since Locket and Armor hadn't danced together once they decided to start the rotation dance off together.
Meloetta's Relic song sounded over head and every partner began to dance.
Since Locket had grown up with a 'royal' life, she automatically knew how to dance properly. As for Armor he as well knew how to dance properly for some unknown reason.
With one hand ontop of the other, Locket and Armor leaned forward, only to move back. The hand connecting the raised for the gray eyed girl to spin. They bowed to each other before switching partners.
On and on this same dance went routine went. Though all of the girl's Armor danced with didn't feel the same is it had did with Locket. There was something that made the gray eyed girl seem so special when she danced.
Meloetta's Relic song quieted down as all the performer's finished their last rotation dance switch to return to their first dance partner.
"Did you have dancing, Armor?" Was what Locket asked when she stood by her friends side.
"Y-yeah! It was fun... You're a great dancer yourself."
The two friends laughed a little. It was true that were both good dancers, but neither thought they were that good themselves.
"Ches! Ches!"
Locket looked down to see her Chespin carrying Espurr. The feline Pokémon didn't look to good for the trainers liking.
Picking Espurr up, Locket put her hand on the feline's head. Hot. The little Espurr was burning up!
"Armor, something's wrong with Espurr! I think she has a fever. Do you know anything that could help her?"
The male thought fast, he remembered eating some oran berries earlier. Quickly Armor hurried over the table that he got the oran berries from earlier and brought back a handful of chopped up peices.
"These might help, but we should get her to a Pokémon Center."
Locket nodded in agreement. Knowing it would be smart to help Espurr now instead of waiting later to help when thing's could get worse.
Locket feed Espurr a few Oran Berries, holding her close.
Chespin hopped onto Locket's shoulder, only to get carried in Armor's arm's.
"Now lets- huh?"
A single black feather landed on Espurr's head, making Espurr tense for a moment.
"A black feather?" Locket examined the feather knowing all too well who it belonged to.
"We need to get going or else-"
Poof! The black feather sent out little sparkles all over Espurr. The sparkles glowed as they worked their across the feline.
"Purr?"
Espurr suddenly looked like she was back to full health. Her fur looked almost as if it were glistening!
"Espurr you look 10x's better than before! But how could a black feath do that?" Locket mumbled that last part to herself, not wanting anyone else to get any thoughts.
"No matter, let's get going on that special event!"
