(A few weeks later)

Y/N's final grades just came out and he was ecstatic to receive A's in both of them, but he was even more happy to see his overall grade point average (GPA) was a 3.55, which puts him in the line to graduate with the honor of cum laude. Weeks prior, he received his cap, gown and tassel along with a single gold cord.

The graduation ceremony was this weekend which was three days from now, so he went over to Mike's house to tell his best friend the news.

Mike: dude, congratulations on your achievement

Nessie: your hard work paid off

Y/N: thanks, I just want to let you two know that you're invited to the graduation ceremony

Mike: that's awesome!

Nessie: can Ryan come?

Y/N: sure

Mike: and Erin?

Y/N: of course

Nessie: well how about... hmm

Y/N: how about who?

Nessie: Mike, help me out, I can't put my finger on who should also come to Y/N's special day of his academic life

Mike: oh I know who are you thinking about, Nessie

Y/N: tell me who it is

Mike: a certain five foot blonde and pink tip haired Goddess

Y/N knew who Mike was referring to.

Y/N: Alexa? She can come too; it will be great to see my inspiration watching me get my degree on stage

Nessie: great after your ceremony, we should celebrate

Y/N: just as long there is no alcohol

The three friends shared a laugh before Mike and Nessie messaged Ryan, Erin and Alexa about the graduation. Ryan, Erin and Alexa had confirmed their invite. The Goddess was really excited to see Y/N upstage and can't wait for the ceremony to come.

Since it was a couple of days left before the graduation, Y/N's college invited the entire graduation class to practice for their walk.

After a few days of practice, Y/N was now ready to receive his degree.

(Graduation day)

It was the day that Y/N will be ready for the real world. The graduation ceremony wasn't until 1 p.m. which gave Y/N plenty of time to iron out his polo shirt and pants. Meanwhile, Mike and Nessie bought everything needed for the celebration party from burgers to soda; they're were gonna order a pizza later. While they prepared; Alexa, Erin and Ryan came over to help out.

Erin: so it's today?

Nessie: it's today

Alexa: I'm so excited, I can't wait!

Ryan: can't wait to see your future boyfriend graduate?

Alexa blushed and hid her face in Erin's arm.

Erin: aww, look at her; she's so cute!

Alexa: I hate you guys

She giggled.

Nessie: come on, let's finish setting this up, Y/N's graduation is in two hours

(Meanwhile with Y/N)

Y/N texted his parents and his mom and dad were ecstatic of their son's achievements; they've confirmed that they'll be at the ceremony as well.

An hour passed and Y/N put on his formal clothing as he grabbed his cap, tassel and gown and drove to the college as the ceremony was taking place at the campus gymnasium. With over 300 graduates for the class of 2020, this ceremony is the largest in the college's history. Y/N has sent a text message to Mike telling him that he's already at the college gym and the ceremony was gonna start in 30 minutes.

Mike: guys, the ceremony starts in half an hour, is everything set?

Nessie: yup

Erin: all good here

Alexa: let's go!

Ryan: someone is in a rush

The four friends packed into Mike's van and drove off to the college campus.

(Meanwhile at the college)

The usual and traditional graduation music started to play and the graduates made the entrance walk while proud parents looked on while they took pictures. Y/N's parents saw their son and they took pictures as he made his way to the stage.

Mike, Alexa, Nessie, Ryan and Erin arrived on time as they saw the graduates taking their seats and they have a clear view of Y/N. Y/N saw his friends and waved at them.

Alexa's mind: I'm so proud of him

Minutes into the ceremony, each individual graduate had their names called for the receiving of their diplomas. As soon as Y/N's name was called, his parents and his friends clapped loudly for him. Y/N did a little Randy Orton pose before he went back to his seat.

At the end of the ceremony, the tassels were turned and the graduates threw up their caps as they now move on to the next step of their life.

After the graduates made their exit walk, Y/N went to find his parents.

Y/N: mom, dad!

Y/N's dad: son, we're so proud of you!

Y/N's mom: Bachelor of Science in Business Management; cum laude

Y/N: I kept my grades up, and it's back to back straight A's

Then Mike and everyone else came.

Mike: Y/N!

Y/N's dad: son, who are they?

Y/N: mom, dad; these are my friends; this is Mike, Erin, Ryan, Nessie and the cute beautiful one is Alexa

Y/N's dad: son, is Alexa your girlfriend?

Y/N: what? No, she's just a friend

Mike: a very close friend

Y/N's mom: have you guys been good friends to my son?

Nessie: we sure have

Mike: Y/N, we have everything ready for your post grad celebration

Y/N: a celebration? Okay, mom, dad you want to join us?

Y/N's dad: as much as we do son, we have to catch our flight; your mother still have work tomorrow

Y/N's mom: maybe when you come home soon, we can celebrate

Y/N: okay, but the important thing is you came

Y/N's mom: we agree son; we have to go now

Y/N: okay, thanks for coming

He hugged his parents before they left. 

Nessie: come on, we have burgers and pizza

Y/N: you guys know all my favorites

Y/N got in the van and the group drove back to Mike and Nessie's house. 

(With Y/N's parents)

Y/N's mom: that short girl is pretty

Y/N's dad: what's her name again? Alexa?

Y/N's mom: yeah, I can totally see her as our son's girlfriend

Y/N's dad: dear, don't start this again

Y/N's mom: what?

Y/N's dad: you know our son; he doesn't want a relationship

Y/N's mom: I know that, but I feel that Alexa girl is right for our son

Y/N's dad: that's up to our son to make his move; he's man enough to make decisions

(Back with Y/N and the group)

Y/N took off his cap and gown and put in the house, so that it won't get filthy. He celebrated with his closest friends eating burgers and pizza and drinking soda.

Mike: to my best friend Y/N and the next step in his life

Y/N: thanks Mike, and I want to give a toast to a certain someone; she inspired me to work hard, so I can achieve to where I am today

Erin playfully nudged Alexa with her elbow as she whispered to the Goddess.

Erin: he's talking about you

Alexa: shh...

She lightly blushed and smiled.

Y/N: I want to give my toast to my inspiration, Alexa Bliss

The Goddess looked down at the ground and smiled while everyone else clapped and cheered. Y/N held his arms out for a hug while Erin and Ryan playfully pushed the Goddess.

Alexa got closer to Y/N and wrapped her arms around him for a hug.

The celebration went for another 2 hours and Y/N went in the house as he needed the bathroom. This was an opportunity for Alexa to have some alone time with him, so when Y/N was done using the bathroom, she took her opportunity.

Alexa: Y/N, can I talk to you?

Y/N: yeah sure, what's on your mind?

Alexa: well, it's really sweet of you when I inspire you

Y/N: of course, you worked really hard to get to WWE and I worked hard to graduate with honors

She smiled and blushed lightly.

Then the two stared into each other's eyes before Alexa made her move as she placed her hands on his cheeks. The Goddess gently pulled him down for a kiss; this surprised Y/N as his eyes widened in shock, but he melted into Alexa's touch as he placed his hand on her waist and kissed her back.

Meanwhile, Nessie saw what was going on and quietly called Mike, Ryan and Nessie to see.

Ryan: those two deserve each other

Erin: I agree

Nessie: come on, let's not bother them

The group went back to eating their food.

Alexa and Y/N pulled back after a minute's kiss.

Alexa: u-uh Y/N, w-will you be my boyfriend?

Y/N smiled and placed his hand on her cheek.

Y/N: yes

Alexa smiled and hugged him tight. Then they joined their friends while they held hands which got the attention of Erin.

Erin: I see holding hands, what's going on?

Alexa: Y/N L/N is my boyfriend

Y/N: and Alexa Bliss is my girlfriend

The group cheered and clapped for the new couple. Nessie took out her phone for a group picture. After that, they continued to have fun.
