~Miles~
Victor and I are in my old childhood home. I walked into the living room. I saw Victor drinking blood like it was going out of style.
"Miles, I don't understand why you did let me fight them," Victor asked, whipping some blood of his mouth.
"Because you where in bad shape and it wouldn't do any good," I said, sitting down on the couch. Victor walked towards me and took a seat next to me.
"Miles, I don't care what happens to me. I'm immortal but you-"
"Victor, you may be immortal but you still can die and I do care what happens to you," I said, staring at him. He looked down at my hands, "Victor, you mean to much to me. Do you understand that?" I asked him.
"Yeah, I get it, Miles," Victor whispered. He looked up and caress my cheek. I leaned into his touch, "Miles, tell me about your childhood," Victor asked. I stared into his blood red eyes.
"Victor, I really don't want to talked about," I whispered.
"Please, Miles. I want to know everything about you," He pleaded.
I sighed, "Fine. Now, where to begin."
"Anywhere you want, Miles," Victor said, picking me up and carrying me to my old bedroom.
"Well I guess I can start from the beginning,"

"Depends if he lives that long, Jess. You know that some hybrids don't live pass age two," Matt stated.
"He will live to be a teen. I know it, Matt," She smiled up at her dark brown hair husband.
"I hope you're right about that, Jess," Matt said, taking his whole family into his arms.
"Matt, we got trouble," Dex said to the alpha.
"What do you mean trouble?" Matt asked his pack member.
"Hunters, we got to move," Dex said.
"We can't -"
"Matt take Miles and go. I will hold them off," Jess said, handing their new born child to her husband.
"Jess, I can't leave you," Matt whimpered, not wanting to leave his wife.
"You don't have a choice, Matthew. Take our son and raise him to be the kind of boy that can bring our kind together and more," Jess said, pushing Matthew of the bed and putting the little boy into her husband's arms.
"I can't raise him. I don't know who to take care of him," He pleaded with his angelic wife.
"Matthew, go and protect him. Dex get them out of here now," Jess yelled.
"Yes ma'am," Dex said, picking up his alpha and his son.

"Daddy, can you tell me about mommy?" Miles asked his father.
"Alright, your mother was the most beautiful vampire that my wolf eyes ever laid eyes on. You my son, have her eye and mine as well," Matt smiled down to his son.
"I do, but why do I have two different eye colors?" Miles asked, holding his stuff animal tightly.
"You are special, my boy," Matt said, putting Miles back on the floor.
"Look it's the Birthday Boy," Dex said, coming into sight of Matt.
"Dex, thank you for coming. I know that the rest of the pack don't like my son," Matthew said, taking a hold of Miles hand and helping him to get outside.
"I know you lost your wife and this boy of yours reminds you of her. So, in away he like my nephew," Dex said, smiling down at his nephew.
"Yeah, but if anything happens to me. I want you to watch after him,"

"Miles, what's wrong?" Matt asked his son.
"Why do they hate me?" Miles asked with tears running down his face.
"They jealous of you because you are different," Matt reassured his son.
"But they call me half breed, daddy" Miles whines. Matt feel boiling rage coming to his throat.
"Miles, you can't change people and don't let them change you, Understand me," Matt said to his son.
"Yeah but why are they mean?" Miles asked.
"I don't know, my son. I don't know," Matthew wrapped his arms around Miles's small frame.
"Matt, we got trouble," Dex said to his alpha.
"Hunters?" Matt asked Dex. Dex nodded his head, "Damn, I thought I have more time. Dex, you know what to do," Matt ordered.
"Sir, you kid. You can't leave him," Dex said.
"I know but remember, Dex. I'm the alpha and a father. I got to protect both or die trying," Matthew said, pushing his son to Dex.
"Matt, I think it's best if you stay with him," Dex said, trying to persuade his alpha to stay with his son.
"You know, I can't," Matt said, walking out the door.
"But Matt-"
"No buts... Just go and take good care of my boy," Matt said, running out the door.
"Come on, little man. Let's get you to safety," Dex said, picking up Miles.
"But will daddy becoming," Miles asked his uncle.
"Not this time," Dex said, trying not to cry.
"Why not?" Miles asked, struggling out of his uncle's arms.
"Because, he is saving our pack," Dex said, walking into Miles room and grabbed the emergency bag.
"But I don't want him to save them," Miles said coldly.
"That's his job, Miles," Dex said, walking downstairs and out the door.
"But I want daddy," Miles whined. Miles wiggled more in Dex's arms. Eventually, Dex let go of Miles. Miles took off running to find his father.
"DADDY!" Miles yelled running down the street. Miles kept running until he tripped over a body. Miles looked at the unmoving body and found it was his father, "Daddy, come on we got to go. Dad... please dad wake up. Daddy... please dad we got to go. DADDY!" Miles screamed, causing the hunters to move towards the toddler cries.
"Miles, we got to run," Dex said, reaching the small child.
"But we can't leave my dad, uncle," Miles whined.
"Miles, your father is no longer with us," Dex said to the child.
"You're lying uncle," Miles whimpered with tear streaming down his face.
"Miles, come on we got to go before the hunters show up," Dex said, picking up the child.
"but dad. He's coming right," Miles sniffled.
"No, Miles. Your dad is not coming with us," Dex said, holding Miles closer to his body.
"So, dad is going to mommy now isn't he?" Miles asked, closing his eyes with tears staining his face.
"Yeah, he with your mother, now," Dex said, letting a few tears slipped out while moving into the woods.
