After the mansion fell Mika looked at Yuu hoping that he was okay. Luckily he was. Mika sighed in relief. Though the cloud of dust caused by the debris cleared and revealed Liew under the debris trapped by the arm. "I guess you were right Chorem. The quest for pure blood would destroy me," Liew said to the illusion of his father. Chorem kneeled next to the vampire prince and said "It's time for me to go now sire,". Liew nodded and waved his free hand. Chorem vanished in black and purple light.

Mika placed Yuu down on nearby grass and walked over to Liew. "Hello Mika. I get the feeling you aren't here to help me," The vampire prince said. Mika didn't respond. "Go ahead. Kill me. But just know that there are others that will learn of my death and come after you for it. Tell The Shifter I said hi. He's going to be one of the harder ones for you to face," Liew said before laughing maniacally. Mika drew his sword and impaled Liew killing the vampire prince. The blonde vampire sighed and picked up Yuu. He walked away from the ruins of the mansion leaving no regrets behind.
