The music sounds sweet

Coming from a little black box

The sounds are sweet

The beat is wild

Moonlight in the sky

And a pounding in your chest

The night is wild

And the melody lifts your soul

And you spin

Until the world is nothing but a blur

A watercolor 

Confusing, to match the vibrations

Rolling through your bones

Like a flood of emotion

We listened to the music

Drowning in emotions

And drowing our emotions

In the noise

Until we couldn't even hear ourselves

Over the beautiful  chaos

The sunlight streams through the air

And even the dust is dancing to the song

The melody's sweet whispers filling the air

A siren call 

To find silence

Luring us to the sounds

That drown our minds

And yet, as the lyrics blast through the speakers,

Them

We

Fall in love with the noise

All over again

Lights are flashing

We drown those that tried to drown us

And at long last

The silence is ours

The peace has been found

In the wild music
