Zuma looked around and began to talk.

"Unlike Rocky, I was born in a no-kill shelter. I lived with my brothers, Cyrus, Zion, and Hayat. Hayat got sick quickly, and after a few months, he passed away. Cyrus, Zion, and I were saddened so much that we barely found anything to talk about afterwards, but we gradually recovered. Cyrus, Zion, and I, along with our mum, were thrown out of the shelter when it fell because of a fire. From then on, we were strays."

"One day, I looked around to find Zion and ask him to play in the water, but he was gone. Cyrus and I found him the next day on a boat leading away from us. We never saw him again."

"For the rest of my puppyhood, Cyrus and I went to an academy for lifeguards. We learned how to stay safe when in the water when surfing, water skiing, and scuba diving. It was fun until Cyrus was found by a human and taken home. From there, I didn't have many friends in the school. I was taken in by Ryder but not a member yet, as I hadn't finished training. But one day, I walked along the beach, saw a border collie pup drowning, and that's how I met Bella. I was welcomed into the PAW Patrol and I visited Bella every day. And here's a secret- I loved her since day one, but was too scared to tell her how I felt. By the time I did, I saw her nuzzle a male her age, and a tinier pup bounced over. I ran back to the lookout and didn't see Bella agin until she joined the PAW Patrol. She explained her dad was leaving on a trip, and the younger pup was her brother. I asked her out, and, whelp, here we are!"

Bella smiled. "Quick question. Where was Rocky the day you saved me?"

The mix sighed. " I was taking a day-long nap. Can a pup catch some z's sometimes?"

We all laughed as Rubble stepped forwards. "My turn..."
