We've now had Mattie for two months and one day. In a lot of ways, she has matured really suddenly. She's been calmer this week than ever before. She's also lost about 11 or 12 teeth.

This is a photo from when she ate a bunch of stickers and they stuck to her beard.

She got a haircut and looks like a poodle finally.

She wore clothing for the first time. "MASTER HAS GIVEN MATTIE A SHIRT!"

Earlier this week she was bleeding from so many loose teeth, she gnawed my arm and immediately made it look like this.

She got a new harness (the purple one didn't fit)

And finally, she discovered the newest joy in her life: a slinky.

The two are inseparable.

BONUS PHOTO: We had a house guest in the form of an 11-year-old poodle, whom my mom was petsitting. She had no patience for Mattie, and growled and snapped at her. She also pooped upstairs while Mattie stared at her judgmentally and then hid lest she be blamed.
