Tamao and Star'Gazer continued to play games, before the two eevee put it down. "Star'Gazer?" Tamao started, as Star'Gazer looked at his friend. The two had a close relationship, having it since they first met in elementary. "Yeah, Tamao?" Star'Gazer asked, as he stood up and shook out his fur.

"Is there anything else you wanna evolve to? Like a Leafeon?" Tamao asked, curiosity shining in his eyes as he grabbed Sakura. Star'Gazer went silent, thinking about it for a long moment before he finally answered. "Either an Espeon, or a Jolteon. But my parents' words are final, so I doubt I'll get to take that route." Star'Gazer sighed.

Tamao nodded. "I don't know what I want to evolve into yet. Maybe I should ask Sakura, she'll give me a good answer!" Tamao grinned, as he held the plushie close. Star'Gazer shook his head, but verbally agreed. "Maybe you should evolve into a Flareon? Or an Umbreon? Perhaps an Espeon?" Star'Gazer suggested. Tamao shook his head. "Hmm, I think you should be a Jolteon! If you become a Jolteon, I'll evolve into one of those you listed!" Tamao bargained.

The younger eevee certainly had spirit, Star'Gazer had to admit. Tamao got up and stretched, bringing Sakura over to the window and sitting her down on the sill. He had a feeling she wanted to be there. "Sure, that's a deal I'll accept." Star'Gazer chuckled. He knew it was pointless, there was no arguing with his parents once they set their mind on what they wanted.

Star'Gazer grinned, before pointing outside. "I'm gonna go sit out in the sun, watch for your dad. Do you want to join me?" He asked, as Tamao shook his head. "No, I'm fine inside for now." Tamao stated, as Star'Gazer shrugged and headed outside.

Tamao looked at the plushie for a moment before sighing. "Sakura, what do you think I should evolve into? I want your input." Tamao asked, as Sakura stared at him with her blank, button eyes.

"Espeon? I can do that." Tamao nodded, agreeing with his sister. "Why an Espeon, though?" He asked, as the plush continued to stare, the head falling to the side and looking at Tamao at a new angle.

"A good special attack? Like those long-ranged magic attacks?" Tamao hummed as he thought about it. Sounded fun! "That's so cool! I can't wait until I'm ready to evolve!" Tamao grinned, as he fixed Sakura's position.

Smiling at how comfy Sakura looked now, Tamao glanced outside. The sun was setting, and Tamao could see Star'Gazer playing on the sidewalk with some chalk, drawing away.

Tamao watched the road as he could see his dad's truck pull in, and he watched as the shiny glaceon got out. "Dad's here." Tamao said to Sakura, as he carefully grabbed his sister and headed outside. "You two ready for some makeshift camping?" Azurn asked, as Star'Gazer got up from his chalk drawing.

"I am." Star'Gazer grinned, as he grabbed some of the bags Azurn was carrying. Tamao nodded, agreeing with Star'Gazer as Azurn took them to the backyard out by the firepit. Tamao grabbed one of the foldable chairs and popped it open, putting Sakura down on it as Azurn and Star'Gazer pulled out all that Azurn got.

"Hey, Tamao, could you get the fire started?" Azurn asked, as he grabbed a few sticks and started to carve them down to a point- after making sure no bugs were on it. Tamao nodded, and ran inside, opening one of the drawers and grabbing the match sticks, running back out as he checked the firepit.

He looked towards his father, before asking the following question. "Where's the firewood?" "It should be over there," Azurn responded, pointing towards where the sticks and old logs were. Tamao nodded and grabbed them, carrying them over to the firepit and tossing them in, before grabbing one of the matches and lighting it on the side of the box, grabbing a piece of birchbark and lighting it.

As the fire engulfed the wood in the pit, Star'Gazer came over with some more foldable chairs, Azurn handing both Tamao and Star'Gazer one of the pointed sticks. "Alright, you two know what to do." Azurn grabbed the marshmallows and handed them to Tamao and Star'Gazer, the two eevees stabbing their marshmallows with their sticks and holding them over the fire.

Tamao huffed when his immediately started to burn as he quickly blew out the fire, grabbing the crackers and chocolate and putting them together, smushing the marshmallow into the smore.

Star'Gazer had been much more careful with his, the older eevee's being a light golden as he sat down and made his up. "So, Star'Gazer, you know what you want to do when you're an adult yet? Or are you going to follow in your families' footsteps?" Azurn asked, as Star'Gazer stuffed his mouth full, taking a moment to think.

Tamao was curious now, too. "Yeah! But, wait- what does your family do? I've never been over." Tamao wondered, as Star'Gazer shook his head. "Don't worry about it, Tam. I think... I want to be an astronaut. Up there, doing research from space, about space." Star'Gazer answered, once his mouth was no longer full.

The younger eevee nodded, taking a bite out of his smore. "What about you, Tamao?" Star'Gazer asked, as his father also looked on. "Don't pressure to answer, as your thoughts will likely change." Azurn agreed. Tamao shrugged. "Dunno." He stated, finishing his smore before yawning.

"Well, I'm getting tired. I'm gonna go to bed." Tamao decided, as the other two nodded and idly conversed while Tamao grabbed Sakura off of the ground and away from the firepit, bringing her inside.

After brushing his teeth, Tamao entered his room and put Sakura up on a shelf, facing him as he turned off the light and tucked himself into bed. "Sakura? What should I do tomorrow at school? The other kids don't seem to like you. Or me..." Tamao sighed at what the other kids called him.

"You're right, Sakura. Well, goodnight!" Tamao tiredly smiled, as he turned around and closed his eyes, swiftly falling into the false comfort he created.

Upon waking, Tamao looked around and saw Sakura staring out the window. Oh, she must've wanted to look outside during the night. "Sakura, you won't believe what I dreamt about- oh, it was just so cool!" Tamao started to ramble, happy to have someone to talk to.
