Chapter 3: First Kill

"Fuck this is creepy." I hear Chase says as him and Nikia started to look through Elsa's room, Chase finished reading one of Elsa's letters, and he was thinking the same thing I was thinking when I read them. "Chase." Nikia says as Chase looked over at her, she nods her head towards Elsa and I. Elsa was hugging herself, she was uncomfortable and scared as she looks down at ground. "Could you not?" She finished making Chase clear his throat, "I'm sorry ma'am." Elsa looked up, like she finally notice she was with other people. She gave a small smile but I know she was still a little out of it. "Are we done here?" I ask as Nikia stood up and nod, "Yeah, I dusted the whole room, I'll run these fingerprints through the lab, but I'm pretty sure they are only Elsa's."

"And we'll run more test on the letters too, there has to be something." Chase adds. "Good, Elsa and I are going to talk to the Isles, see if they noticed anything." I say turning to Elsa. "Have you heard back form either of them?" I ask. She shakes her head, "I haven't. I know the director is pissed that Stacy missed the rehearsal." Elsa says looking at her phone, I don't know how many texts or calls she made to both Hans and Stacy but I could tell, she was getting worried. I place my hand on her shoulder seeing her flinch before she looks up at me, "Hey, it'll be okay, they might just be busy..." I say but I know she's not believing me. I look over at my team but they were just as speechless just like I was.

Before I could even try and think of something for Elsa, I hear her phone go off. "Hans?" Elsa answers quickly. "Put him on speaker." I mouth to her, she nods and places the phone in her hand, speaker on. "Hans, can you hear me?" Elsa ask. All we hear is silence on the other end, until I hear a faint sound, music. "Elsa..." I hear a deep voice say making Elsa sigh, "Hans, where are you?" She ask. "You should come home... I have a surprise for you baby." Hans says as I see the screen go black.

We all looked at the phone, a shiver go up my spine. "Did anyone else get the creeps?" Chase ask making Nikia sigh. "Something is wrong..." Elsa answer, her hands shaking. I look at Chase and Nikia, "Call Ezra, I'm going to Elsa's place to see what is going on." I say. "One of us should go with you." Nikia says but I shake my head, "I can handle this, call Ezra, meet you guys there, take care of Elsa." I say as I run out of the room without another word.

"Jackson!" I hear as I reach my car to see Elsa running up to me. "Jesus Elsa, what are you doing? Go back inside and stay..." "Like hell! I'm going with you." She says. I grind my teeth, "Elsa, it's dangerous, you are in..." "I'm in danger here too! I'm safer with you!" She says crossing her arms. God she was still as stubborn then when we were kids. "You know I'm going to win this fight, you can never say no to me." She says feeling my heart start to beat faster, she was right... I could never say no to her. I sigh and open my passages side door. I don't look at her but I know she was smiling as I hear her heels hit the payment under her feet.

"Don't make me regret this." I say finally looking at her, and of course, she was giving me that smile, that smile that makes me weak to my knees. "You should know I'm stronger then I look." She says before going into the car. I growl at myself as I go to the driver side and look at her, "You're going to be the death of me, you know that right?" I say only to make her laugh.

"You would love that."

Not long, we reached Elsa's house but... Something was off, the lights were on and the front door was open. "Dose Hans have a key?" I ask seeing her shake her head, "No... No one dose." She answers which scared me more. I pull out my gun and push Elsa behind me as I push the door open a little more. The first thing I notice was there was music playing in the house, light classical music, the second was something on the floor. It was red and wet. "Oh god...." Elsa whispers. "Is that..." "I'm not sure, just don't step in it and stay close." I warn as we watched our step and I feel Elsa's hand on my shoulder.

I checked ever room but all the lights were off but two, the one to the right of me and the one at the very end of the hallway. I look to the room next to me, "That's my study." Elsa says and I see just a room with pain everywhere. "I'm guessing this paint on the floor then." I say making her sigh with relief. I look up, "Which room is that?" I whisper moving my head to the room at the end of the hall. "My room." She answer, that's where the red line was taking us, to Elsa's room. We move slowly as I see a shadow dance in the room making me freeze, fuck. "Elsa." I say turning my head to her a little, "If I say run, don't argue with me, just go." I say my voice stern, I see her nod from the corner of my eye but I was worried she wouldn't listen to me.

I start to walk again as I reach the room, I point my gun high but I felt like I was going to drop it from what I see. There was a man, the man from the picture I saw in Elsa's letter, Hans. He wasn't wearing anything but boxers but he was almost covered in the red paint that was on the floor. He was dancing around with a knife in his hand and in the corner was a woman who looked almost just like him. The woman was tied up in a chair wearing nothing but a bra and panties, she had cuts all over her body from a knife I'm guessing from Hans and her brown hair was in a ponytail. There was almost small puddle of blood by her feet form the small cuts on her body. But I notice that Hans didn't cut any of her major blood vessels which was good, it was keeping her alive. The woman was crying but it was hard to tell because she had tape over her mouth. I stood there, my jaw almost dropping to the floor as Hans takes a turn cutting the girl on the cheek making her whine.

"Stacy..." I hear Elsa whisper making the woman I'm guessing who was Stacy looked up and started to scream but it was muffled by the tape but it got Hans' attention as he looked at the door. "Elsa! Baby! You came!" Hans says holding his arms up in the air like he was welcoming home a love one. "Hans... What is going on?" Elsa ask taking a step away from behind me. I watch Hans body as I notice something, tied on his wrist, ankles and neck was a red string. He looked around, "You don't like it? I did this for you." He says as I finally notice the room, it was covered in the red paint, you could almost not see the white wall under it.

"I had to borrow some of your paint baby but I knew you wouldn't mind, right?" Hans ask with a laugh. "Hans... why?" Elsa ask getting braver as she step besides me. "Why? I did this for you." He repeats pointing the knife at Elsa. "You... Are the best thing that God ever created! You are the only thing that matters." He says point his knife to Stacy who started to cry more. "This stupid bitch was trying to take that away from you! Can you believe that? My own sister tried to destroy you! I had to stop her!" Hans says walking to Stacy and put the knife moving it slowly down her face close to eye making Stacy flinch having Hans cut her deeper. "Damn it Stacy! I almost cut you eye!" Hans yells slapping her across the face.

Elsa yelped quickly covering her mouth but Hans heard her and turn back to her. "Did I scare you... Pet? I'm so sorry." Hans laughed, a dark and twisted laugh before he stops and starts to pace. "But you know what's really funny? I'm worse. Oh, I'm so much worse then her." Hans says as he stops pacing and stood in front of Elsa and I. But Hans' eyes never left Elsa, it was like I wasn't even there which could be a good or bad thing.

I tried to get a look in his eyes but I needed a direct eye contact to use my sight on him. But I could tell, something was wrong, pupils were going from wide to normal almost ever other second, like they were trying to figure out what was happening, what they were seeing.

"I cheated on you, did you know that? I was sleeping with Ashlee this whole time, and I'll tell you this, she is a good fuck Elsa. God she is good, no wonder she is everyone favorite." Hans laughs putting the knife to his cheek and cuts it open too. I watch as he winces but then smiles, "Fuck that's good." He says smiling taking a step closer to Elsa which gave me the cue to jump in front. "Why are you telling us this? Why do any of this?" I ask, what was his motive to do this? To tell Elsa this? I could feel Elsa's body shake next to me not fully behind me yet. Finally Hans looks at me, his face falling to a frown.

"Who... who the fuck are you?" He ask pointing the knife at me. "I'm Dr. Jack Dream, I work for the BAU." I says pushing Elsa behind me all the way again. I watch his face almost went into a panic as he grabs the side of his head, "No... No... You're not... You can't be here.... You will wreck everything The Master has worked so hard for!" Hans says as he keeps hitting his head with his hands and walks backwards toward Stacy.

I look to see the strings on his wrists, ankles and neck were being pulled to Stacy. "You can't be here... She... She can't fall in love with you! She does not belong to you! She belongs to The Master!" Hans screams at me as he grabs Stacy by the hair and pulls her head back making her scream again. "Hans stop!" Elsa screams pushing me aside and stepping up but Hans put the knife to Stacy's throat making Elsa freeze and I point the gun right at Hans' head. "Elsa run!" I yell but she shook her head "Hans, drop the knife and let's talk this out." Elsa says and I see her put her hands up. Damn it I knew she wouldn't listen to me, and I didn't have a clear shot with her in front of me.

Hans shook his head, "There is nothing to talk about." Hans says looking at me but still, he wouldn't lock eyes with me, like he knew. "Dr. Dream, This little bitch has to die and so do I. It's what The Master wants." Hans says. The Master... Who was he? I thought. His been talking about The Master ever since he saw me. "But why does this Master want you both to die?" I ask. "Who is The Master Hans?" Elsa adds. And that's when it happened, Hans eyes widen, as I see them glass over. He turns his eyes to Elsa, "His the one who made me do it... The Puppet Master." Hans says in monotone. I could feel my heart beat faster from fear hearing him say that. It was like slow motion when I came to as Hans pulls his hand letting the knife slit Stacy's throat. I hear Elsa's scream as I push her her aside and take a shot at Hans but he moved his head making me miss as he raises his hand up and put the knife to his throat. "You can't stop this Dream... It's to late." Hans says with a smile before he slits his own throat and his body hits the floor.

Before I could move, I see Elsa start to fall making me catch her as she faints in my arms. I look around at the two dead bodies and Elsa in my arms as I try and pull out my phone but my body was shaking. All I could hear was what Hans said, His the one who made me do it... It's almost what Sally said before she jumped.

What the fuck just happened?"

I didn't dare move as I hear someone shouting for me. "Jackson!" I hear the voice of Ezra knowing my team was here. "Ez... Ezra! I'm... Here." I stutter not meaning to but my mind, my body just didn't want to work as I looked at the siblings dead on the floor. "Jesus Christ..." I hear behind me as I look up to see Ezra and Nikia running into the room. "What happened Dream?" Ezra asked stepping into the room going down to my level. "I..." I stop and look up at Nikia, "Can you stay with Elsa? Please?" I bagged seeing her nod as she goes down and picks up Elsa like she weighed nothing. Nikia may be small but she was strong like an ox.

I waited until Nikia was out of the room as Ezra helped me up and I finally went over to the bodies. "Hans killed Stacy, and then himself." I looked back at Ezra to see him already handing me gloves, I could hear the sirens outside knowing the police was here and they would do the same thing we were doing, seeing what I missed. "How was he acting, did you get anything on him from your sight?" He asked and I shook my head, "He wouldn't even look me in the eye Ezra, it was like... He knew. But how he was acting, it wasn't normal." I say as I go down and pick up the string around his neck. "What the hell..." I hear. "It's on his wrist and ankles too, and I saw it... I saw someone pulling him to Stacy before he killed her." I say following the string to the window.

Ezra and I walked to the window as at less two cops come in to look at the bodies even though I knew I was just going to tell them soon what happened. I see the window was cracked open as I pushed it open to see a tree outside the window and hanging on one of the branches, was binoculars. "Someone was watching the show..." Ezra says but I shake my head, "No, someone was controlling it." I say. Whoever was here, they knew what they were doing, but the problem I couldn't figure out was... How did this person make Hans say those things?

"Before Hans died, he said something about a Master, the Puppet Master." I say to Ezra as he took out his small notepad and wrote it down. "You think he was the one who ran this show?" He ask and I nod, "Yeah, but the question is, how did he?" "I think I can answer that." I hear behind us making Ezra and I turn to see a small woman with glasses over her green eye and short red hair. "Hi, I'm Kat, I was called to look at the bodies." She says tilting her head to the side. I look at Ezra, he had the same look on his face. We look back at Kat who was alright looking at Hans as she starts to open one of his eyes.

"Umm excuse me." Ezra says having Kat look up at him, "Are you sure you want to... I mean you don't look...." I closed my eyes, he was not good with talking to woman who looked, tiny. But I hear a giggle making me open my eyes to see it was Kat who was laughing. "I don't look like someone who likes dead bodies? That I shouldn't work for the FBI labs? Is that what you were trying to say?" Kat ask and I could see Ezra was already uncomfortable with that. "I get that a lot, you aren't the first and you won't be the last." She says turning back to Hans, "Now if you two would come closer." Kat starts.

Ezra and I moved closer to Kat as she opens Hans eyes and I see the pupil is dilated. "You see how his pupil is dilated, it most likely he was on a drug." She says. "A drug? What kind of drug would do this?" Ezra ask as Kat stands up and takes her gloves off with a shrug. "I mean, bath-salts made a man turn into a zombie. Well not really a zombie he was just you know eating peoples faces!" She giggles. How could she laugh at something like that? Before I could ask anymore questions, four more men come in. "Oh good you're here. Let's get these bodies to the lab and see what else we can get!" Kat says turning back to Ezra and I. "It was so nice to meet you both! I hope to see you again soon and it's not in body bags!" She say as she skips off.

"She... Is terrifying." I say not understand how someone that small could have all that crazy in her. "If I wasn't in love with Molly, I think I would find that attractive." Ezra says making me punch him in the shoulder. "Ouch! Hey! You shouldn't hit your boss!" Ezra growls but I just hit him again before two of the men told us to leave, most likely thinking we were going to start a fight. "They'll take the bodies to the lab, if Kat is right and this is a new drug, we need to stop it fast." Ezra says as we walk down the hallway going outside. "I saw it... I saw his eyes dilating when he was alive." I say as we reach outside.

The police already had tape around the house blocking people from getting closer but there was already a crowd. "But... The problem is... they didn't stay dilated like he was high, it was like he was.. Fighting it." I say. Ezra turned his head to me. "A drug wouldn't do that." I say looking at him. "So what do you think it is then?" He ask and I sigh and move my fingers through my hair, "I don't know..." I answer. I don't know what would do that.

"Do you think it was Elsa's stalker?" Ezra asked before I could answer I see Elsa sitting in the back of an ambulance with a blanket wrapped around her. It felt like deja vu seeing Elsa like that, it reminded me when Sally died, how I was siting on our steps with a blanket wrapped around me. I see her look over at me as she quickly jumps from the ambulance and runs to me. I meet her halfway as she goes into my arms. "Their dead! He... Oh god..." Elsa cried as I held her close. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry you had to see that." I whisper trying to calm her down.

She pulls back her make up was running down her face, her eyes were red and I know, she was scared. I wipe a tear from her eye making her smile a little but that smile was so broken, that I didn't know if anyone could fix it. "I told you to run." I say softly making her nod, "I know.. I know... I'm sorry, I should of listen to you." She says digging her head more into the palm of my hand, I hated seeing her like this. "Miss. Frost." I hear Ezra say as she looks at him. I drop my hand and turns to my boss. "Elsa Frost, this is Ezra Reid my boss." I say as Ezra shakes Elsa's hand, "I'm very sorry for your lost Miss. Frost." "Elsa please... I think after tonight we can go with a first name basis." She taking her hand back and wraps it around herself.

"I know this is hard and... Scary but I would like you to go back and tell me what you saw, what happened. Jack told me what happened from his side but I want to hear what you remember too." Ezra ask. That was the part of the job we didn't like to do, but it had to be done. Before Elsa could answer I watched as her face froze as I follow her eyes to see that they were bring out the bodies of the Isles. I quickly pull Elsa to burry her face into my chest and look to Ezra. "We should go somewhere else to talk." I say seeing Ezra nod, "Let's get her to the cars, I'll let the team know were we're going." Ezra says as he starts to walk off. I start to follow but I keep my arms around Elsa as she kept her head down.

"Miss. Frost! Miss. Frost!" I hear as we reach my car and I turn and feel anger go through my blood. "Get in the car." I hiss opening Elsa's door. She turns her head and I see her eyes widen, "Jade?" She whispers. "I said get in the car, please." I bag as Jade reached up right as I closed the car door. "Let me see her! Is she okay?" Jade asked as I blocked the way. "What the hell are you doing here?" I ask crossing my arms. "What do you mean? I'm her bodyguard of course I'd be here." Jade answer and I narrow my eyes, "She fried you Jade, not even an hour ago. Did you follow us?" I asked. I locked eyes with Jade using my sight on him to see him going through Elsa's purse pulling out her house keys.

I blink, he made a spare key to her house. "You have a key to Elsa's house." I say making his eyes widen, "Of course I do... I'm..." "How did you know we were here?" I ask him again stepping up to him making him step back. "I followed you.. I don't like her with you." He answers. "and the key?" I ask. I see Jade stop as he glared at me, "I feel like I shouldn't say anything else until I have my lawyer with me." Jade says making me smile, "Smart idea. Nikia!" I yell as I see Nikia run up to me, "Can you please take Mr. Shay to the police station for questioning." I say making Nikia nod as she pushes him to her car, "Come on sir." She says as they keep walking. I sigh and turn to see Elsa out of the car.

"You need to start listening to me." I say walking to her. "Did he do this?" She ask as I softly push her back into the car, "I don't know Elsa. That's why we're going to question him." I say closing the door and getting into the driver seat. I tighten my hands on the steeling wheel. I was upset, I was worried that my sight was telling what my gut was also saying. "Did you hire Jade?" I ask Elsa as I start to drive even though I really didn't want to but we had to go to police station, we had a lot to talk about. I was trying to drive normal but I just wanted to be out of this car, I didn't want to admit it but I was upset with Elsa too.

"No, my manger did." She answers, I could feel her eyes on me. "You're manger? And where is this so called manger at?" I ask taking a turn. "I don't know where she is. I can call her though... I should call her." Elsa says as I hear her take her phone out. "Yeah I think that's a good idea, we need to question her too." I say. As I take another turn, I feel my car start to stop quickly, like someone pushed the breaks. I look next to Elsa had pulled the emergency break. "What the hell is wrong with you?" I yell. "What the hell is wrong with you!" She screams back her face close to mine.

"Nothing is wrong..." "You are the worse liar Dream! I know you're pissed at me." She says lend back away form me. "Why are you mad at me?" She ask making me laugh, "I told you to run, I told you to stay in the car, you don't listen to me Violet." I say letting her old name slip form my lips. "Have I ever listen to anyone Jack?" She ask as I turn my head to her. "Do you not understand how serious this is?" I ask. "Your boyfriend killed his sister, your coworker because she was trying to steal your career and Hans cheated on you." I say making her flinch like I'm the one who hurt them."

"You don't think I don't know that?" She ask as I see her hug herself. "The died because of me... But.... I still understand why." I see her tighten her hold on herself. I lend over to her and touch her arm. I see her loosen her arms giving me the okay to pull her in for a hug. "You didn't do this, and we'll figure out what happened, why this is happening." I say pulling back as I lock eyes with her. Suddenly I could see something play through her eyes, I saw her movie. The day she meet Jade, she was already uncomfortable with him being there, and I saw the same look she saw now on his face, like an animal looking at it's pray.

I blinked and pulled back, "We need to go." I say as we start to drive off. I look at the corner of my eye to see Elsa looking at her hands but it was her face that got my attention. She had a small smile on her face and I could see blush on her cheeks. I look back at the road and smiled as I feel my heart beat faster. I forgot how much she made my heart beat, and honestly...

I didn't mind.

Hey guys! So I finally got this to update, but I got a lot to say. First of, my iPad I do my writing on deleted all of my work! Literally five years worth of work was gone! I almost had an anxiety attack and I almost cried a lot. But the next morning it somehow come back on my iPad and was all there! I don't know what happened but I'm grateful it's back.

Next for those who are new to my page, I have a 3 year old. I share my iPad with him so he can play his games and watched his shows that I don't want to watch or rather watch you know my anime (that's adulting right? Haha) anyways yesterday, he found out he could take the keys off my keyboard so now I have three missing keys and typing this right now is a pain in the ass but I wanted to finished this chapter for you guys since I haven't updated in awhile. But don't worry I'm going to have a keyboard on the way soon!

So with all that out of the way, what did you guys think of the chapter? This chapter was a lot of fun to write and I won't lie I like writing the dark and twisted stuff and I have a lot more in the works soon. And in the next chapter we'll hear more about Jade and meet Elsa's manger. It's going to be fun!
