 She didn't plan on joining the infamous SUICIDE SQUAD. But, there she was—Elina Alman was working side by side with some of her fellow criminals from Belle Reve.

 Elina Alman was the face behind one of Gotham's coldest criminal vigilantes—they called her the PUNISHER—she stalked around at night with her gleaming knives that moved without her touching them—she took out the scum of Gotham (there was a lot of that in the damned city, she could attest to that), people like abusers, free-walking criminals, shitty humans like that. Then, she landed in Belle Reve after getting caught in front of the police station with a knife lodged in some shitbag's neck. It was times like that when the phrase You Only Live Once came to mind—her sentence got longer when she took down two of the cops who tried to arrest her: they landed in the ICU for a while—not that she cares. And so for the next three years Elina Alman is rotting away in Belle Reve starting brawls just for her own personal entertainment, making allies with some of the worst criminals. Then, Amanda Waller came.

 And she came with an offer. To join her Suicide Squad—a group combined of the world's cruelest and most dangerous prisoners—sent out to do some dangerous mission, their little personal disposable toy soliders—and? Elina Alman agreed. Now, the once infamously dangerous Punisher was part of the world's worst group working under Colonel Rick Flag—who, Elina can admit, is one of the only tolerable people she knows in the squad. So begins the start of odd allies, odd romances, and a battle of odd villains versus villains (some slightly more aquatic).

 080721 | SO! This was impulsive. And encouraged. I saw The Suicide Squad today and I'm...in love with Rick Flag. He no longer looks like a nasty republican like he did in the first one! If you've seen The Suicide Squad, the warnings will go without saying. It's all the same from the movie meaning language, violence, mature scenes, and mentions of abuse / assault.
