Allowing him to avoid certain mistakes and make very different ones. Providing him the advantages and edge to crush his opposition often before they could react. Punishing those the moment they decided to be his villains. With all the resources Peter achieved an odd sort of balance in his life.

But you discovered why Ezekiel was so commited in the first place. Ezekiel Sims saw future's in which his death was inevitable unless he had someone at his side backing him up. Unless he had someone to die for him, to kill for him.

Peter was being prepared like a lamb to the slaughter, someone that could either die in his place or kill every threat to his life. He wanted Peter as a weapon. You had to tell him.

You kept having a vision of Ezekiel pressing a blade into you, stabbing you in the chest for revealing the truth. You had to tell Peter when you pieced it together.

He went after Sims on his own. They were fighting on the bridge and you had to catch up.

You learned of a future Ezekiel caused directly where Peter battling the other spiders without mercy, Julia, Martha, and Cassandra fighting for their lives.

You saw his fight with the other girls and had to intervene and stop him.

You thought Peter was dead when the costumed body was found only to see it was Ezekiel. Who made the choice to switch with him. Accept his own death to save Peter.

Ezekiel couldn't kill Peter choosing to knock him out, and go after the girls himself. You found Peter in a bunker and got him out. You wanted to save the girls but he wants to save everyone. Even Ezekiel.

Ezekiel lay in a cell explaining how he affected Peter's life.

Peter held the mask Ezekiel had made for him, the black and red when it was over. Changing his suit when it was over but keeping the mask.

It was the first time Peter wore the costume Ezekiel made for you but it didn't seem right. You saw something else he could have worn.

"It was like the master and the apprentice. " Peter saw him as a mentor, another father figure who betrayed him. " Just not in the way... I thought. "
