🔪     I literally did this at 12 am, please excuse any errors I'm going to make as a ramble in these notes, thank you. But YESSSSSSSS CASTTTTTT! I love every single one of these characters on this cast list and it was actually very fucking hard to pick between all of your well made characters....like so many were so good that i literally had to take breaks in between to think abt what interactions would be the FUNNIEST and eventually, this cast came forth. Thank you everybody that applied because honestly it was very fucking hard. Maybe some of your characters will be mentioned as side cast ;> butttt let's get into the nity gridy.

🔪   So firstly, this cast is actually really great. Literally FULL of poc and diversity + with good backgrounds and very great personalities that align with the tropes but make them feel....more alive! Not as cliche tbh which I love. And all these characters fit the camp horror aesthetic which makes the perfectionist in me at ease. (Aged up Kingsley & Ziggy to 15 and 13.)

🔪 All of these characters will clash with one another in some way and I'm excited to see your beautiful opinions on each other! Opinions on optional but it will help me write faster and better if you at least do some of them. This cast is very big so I get if you can't do all but at least some would just be perfect for me.

🔪 Since there's like 14-13 cast members; there's going to be groups. How many? Probably abt 3-4 groups and maybe a duo once we get towards the end of the book. Think of it as Stranger Things style groups then you'll probably understand better. Everything's gonna happen in like a span of a couple months, almost basically the entire summer, or maybe a couple of weeks. Haven't hammered out the timeline just YET because idk if you guys want a long horror fic (ex. 10000/8000 words a chapter) or a short one (ex. 2000/4000 words a chapter).

🔪   Interestingly enough, I didn't chose Salem, who's Xavier's twin sister, because I have a plot that's for her instead and will pay homage to Friday The 13th. Plus I love Sophie Nelisse so I HAD to use her...it's tru.

🔪   And one more thing! Xavier's uncle runs a diner next to the camp while Laurie's mom works at there. I'm only saying this cause there's like, so many people who made their family members like work next to the camp at a DINER?? Like not even a tourist shop or anything cool and I feel as if it would be redundant or confusing for them to work at two separate diner's next to the camp because it's literally...in the middle of buttfuck nowhere. So yeah, just cleaning that up because good god.
