"I-, Hyunjin, I think it is true."
___
The bell rung at the front of the tiny but lively shop.
"WELCOME TO HOPE WORLD, WHERE THERE IS A WIDE VARIETY OF FLOWERS YOU CAN CHOOSE AND GIVE! GET ANY FLOWER YOU WANT!" a bright voice was heard.
"Hey Hobi, its me, Jin!" Jin walked up to the counter, where Hoseok was.
"HELLO JIN!" He flashed his bright smile, standing next to someone new. "WOULD YOU LIKE TO HELP?"
"I just wanted to visit you!" He looked at the guy next to Hoseok. "Who's that?"
"OH! MY HELPER!"
"I thought it was Hyunjin?"
"OH, WAIT YEAH, HYUNJIN! HE HELPS ME EVERY WEEKEND! BUT HE," he indicated the blonde-haired guy next to him. "WON'T HELP!"
"Ehehehhehe, I was just providing him information about his family." He laughed.
"Wait..." Jin narrowed his eyes. He got out a photo his parents once gave him.
"They said he was my brother." His eyes flickered to the boy in the picture, then to the boy in real life. "Familiar." He muttered underneath his breath.
"OH, YOU WANNA KNOW ABOUT HIM? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, I WAS DISOWNED BY MY PARENTS."
"I thought it was about him." Jin emphasised on the 'him'.
"BUT IT INCLUDES ME?" he stated.
"Oh." Jin sounded a bit disappointed. He wanted to know if it was his brother.
"Okay, so first, my parents would speak to me in English, but I spoke back in Korean." He started off, no longer speaking in capitals. "They told me that I should speak in Korean and said I was 'refusing' to even though I spoke it when they told me to. We met him in the alleyway, we thought he was homeless, yet he spoke both English and Korean."
'Memory with languages. Blonde Hair. It meets up.' Jin thought, hope rising from inside him.
"So they started joking that they were going to disown me and adopt the guy on the street. It first started out as a joke, but I still didn't speak a lot of English. Then they said they were going to adopt him, since he looked so lonely. I stayed with him and Dawon for a few weeks. Then... they disowned me." Hoseok recalled all the memories.
"Oof." The only thing Jin could say. "That's sad."
"I know, right? I luckily earnt a lot of money to buy this place!" he smiled.
Jin looked to the boy next to Hoseok. Blonde hair. Memory. Was he really Jin's brother?
"Seokjoong hyung?" Jin questioned, gazing at the familiar man.
"Seokjin?" Seokjoong slowly walked up to Jin, examining him.
"Damn, I keep bumping into family members these days." Jin commented.
"WAIT YOU KNOW EACH OTHER? SO I'M RELATED TO YOU JINNIE HYUNG?" Hoseok excitedly pointed out, positivity radiated off him.
"I guess, in a way." Jin shrugged, still looking at his brother in confusion. "But why?"
"I was disowned too." Seokjoong hanged his head down. "Because Eomma and Appa wanted to take the BigHit, I mean Hybe Labels job. Do you know what happened to them?"
"Oh." Jin suddenly remembered of Taehyung. "Um Hoseok, can we have our own time?"
"YEAH SURE!" Hoseok shouted.
"Calm down." Jin muttered, hoping that the bright guy didn't hear.
"I HEARD THAT!" Hoseok shouted again. Jin giggled and walked out of Hope World with his brother, Seokjoong.
"So what happened to them?" Seokjoong sounded worried.
"T-they were murdered. Because of me." Jin felt suddenly guilty, knowing the actual truth.
"No! Its not because of you!" Seokjoong exclaimed.
"Sadly, it is Seokjoong hyung. Because their boss, I think called Felix found out they had me."
"Oof, but I'm glad to see you, Jin!" Seokjoong wrapped his arms around Jin.
"So... You can see love too?" Jin whispered at a low voice.
"Mhm." Seokjoong nodded. "Where do you live now?"
"Hmmm, I live at a place." Jin smiled.
"Exactly where?" Seokjoong raised an eyebrow.
"Earth." Jin held in his laughter.
"Tell me now~" Seokjoong sang.
"Okay, okay, a house around here." Jin tried to tell the elder, not revealing the palace.
"Not with any... girl?" Seokjoong teased.
"Hmmm, Seokjoong, I think I'm into boys." Jin looked at Seokjoong, a person he could trust, his other brother.
Jin felt his body collied into another.
"Oh wait! Your... Jungkook?" Jin asked, very confused with the names.
"What the hell? I'm Jisoo! Jungkook's my boyfriend!
"Oh." Jin's cheeks heated up.
"Jinnie? I thought you were into boys!" Seokjoong teased Jin.
"AHAHAHAHA Seokjoong, there is something called embarrassment, you know?"
Jisoo looked confused. "So... You were the guy who was staring disgusted at us?"
"Jisoo I wasn't disgusted, don't get it wrong." Jin glanced at the nearly broken heart hovering over Jisoo's head, then at Seokjoong, nodding.
"Sure." Jisoo rolled her eyes.
Jin's eyes caught a glimmering blue thing on the girl's wrist. 'Crisso?' The image of Crisso's bracelet flashed in Jin's mind.
"WHERE IS THIS FROM??!!" Jin shouted in the innocent girl's face, grabbing her wrist and inspecting the braclet.
"T-This is his." Jin rummaged in his pink bag he stole when he was 3 years old and took out Crisso's guidebook. He flipped to the last page, bringing the book close to him so no one else could see.
The page had Crisso's notes of the bracelet.
1. Bracelet includes the green curse gas.
2. Used to control the cursed people's curse.
3. Useless to people who have an ability.
4. Very dangerous to normal humans.
5. To be only used by the cursed.
'But she is a normal human!' Jin thought, trying to hear, feel, taste, or smell anything suspicious.
"Shit." Jin cursed out loud.
"What the fuck dude?" Jisoo shouted.
"Where did you get this from?" Jin panicked, Seokjoong having no idea what was going on.
"I got it from my boyfriend! Calm down!" Jisoo screamed.
"Its dangerous, just give it to me." Jin took a glance at the book. "You have no idea what is in there."
'I can give it to Yoongi, Crisso said he wanted the bracelet to be useful and in good hands after he died. Yoongi can get free out of his prison to see the world. His dream.' Jin made up his mind.
"No! This is especially from my Jungkookie!" Jisoo brang up her hand and slapped Jin.
"WHAT? DON'T SLAP JINNIE!" Seokjoong brang Jin closer to him.
"He deserves-" Jisoo was cut off by a piece of paper being stuffed into her face. "Huh?" She managed to muffle out. She grabbed the piece of paper and scanned it. "Who the hell is Namjoon?" She commented.
"Namjoon? As in Kim Namjoon?" Jin cried out.
"Uhhhh, yeah? It says if you know a Kim Namjoon, please give this to him."
Jin snatched the piece of paper before Jisoo could finish her words.
"Geongmin." He muttered, his brother peeking over his shoulder. "GEONGMIN! NAMJOON'S YOUNGER SISTER! I'VE GOTTA GIVE THIS TO HIM! BYE JISOO, THANKS SO MUCH!!" Jin took Seokjoong's hand and ran fast, away from the puzzled girl.
People rushed around the huge building, grabbing random pieces of paper and staring at computers.
"So your prediction is true?" Hyunjin spoke to the girl.
"I-, Hyunjin, I think it is true." She breathed out.
"Geongmin, so the dead king had a cursed son? We shouldn't release this to the public!" Hyunjin exclaimed.
"Seriously? After 7 years of hard work? 7 years of being separated from my family, you literally took me away from them!" Geongmin argued back.
"But don't you feel guilty about spying on them? What if they find out?"
"Then you shouldn't have taken me in the first place! Why me? Why not someone else?" Geongmin shouted.
"Geongmin, once you have done this, you can return back." Hyunjin tried to calm the girl down.
Geongmin stayed silent.
"Geongmin!" A worker called out. "We have footage of the cook with an unknown person, Geongmin, you gotta see this!"
Geongmin glanced at the screen. "Namjoon oppa..." She breathed out. "THAT'S NAMJOON OPPA! LET ME GET TO HIM!"
"Geongmin!" Another called out. Geongmin sighed. "THE KING DIDN'T DIE BECAUSE OF CANCER! GROUP C GOT A FOOTAGE!"
"Huh?" Geongmin's mind immediately switched from her brother to the king. She rushed to the computer and scanned it, watching the horror scene.
"He was stabbed?" Geongmin asks.
"Yeah, he didn't really have cancer." A worker from group C informed.
"So he was trying to recover from the stab when he called his son Yoongi, right?" Geongmin asked no one. "He wasn't successful on surviving. I guess the stabber is either Jung Hoseok, or Felix Lee, I mean they are the only people with red hair that I know that could've killed the king."
"But Hoseok is too bright and happy for those things." A worker pointed out.
"That is true. So it would be Felix? The manager of 6TS?"
"Yup." Hyunjin agreed. "This is why we chose you Geongmin noona, you're smart!"
"I guess." Geongmin muttered and walked to the place with blank paper.
Geongmin thought about Namjoon. 'If he was spotted with the cook, he might be around here. Did he move to a new house? Or no? Because the house I was at was far from here.'
Geongmin's hand reached for the piece of paper, then she grabbed a pen.
"Dear whoever gets this,
If you know a Kim Namjoon, tell him that me, Kim Geongmin, is safe.
Thanks,
From Kim Geongmin"
Even though it was a simple letter, tears streamed down from her eyes. She didn't remember much about the first 10 years of her life, since she has stayed with the group. The group had kind of brainwashed her in a way.
A few of the only things she remembered was that her first word was 'Goo' apparently because she had eaten a crab when she was only a few months old. She didn't believe it, but apparently that made Namjoon try it, so Geongmin believed in her parents. Also, if someone told Geongmin a secret, it would always go to her brother.
That was what she wanted to do.
Geongmin thought for a bit. 'Should I tell the prince that his father was actually murdered?' Geongmin debated. She honestly didn't have an answer.
"Hey Geongmin noona, we got to work." Hyunjin indicated for Geongmin to come. She didn't respond.
"Come on, Geongmin noona!" Hyunjin begged, shaking the motionless girl.
"No." The girl didn't look at Hyunjin.
"What? You gotta go work!" Hyunjin pleaded.
"My work here is already done, Hyunjin, I'm not staying here anymore." Geongmin still didn't look at Hyunjin.
"But- Geongmin noona! You can't leave!" Hyunjin tugged onto Geongmin's sleeve. Too bad he wasn't as good at convincing as Beomgyu.
"Hyunjin, you can't tell me to do things, I'm legit 16. I'm going to Namjoon oppa."
"WAIT GEONGMIN NOON-!"
That's when Geongmin took off, the piece of paper folded up into an airplane.
She couldn't have ran faster, she jumped up to the emergency exit and trigged the alarm. The emergency door opened, and she dashed out of the place, not bothering to look back.
'Why couldn't I do this in the first place?' Geongmin wondered, legs getting tired by each second.
She wanted to get to her family. Get back to Joonie, at least she knew that Joonie was alive.
"I'm coming to you Joonie." She said firmly as her feet pounded on the footpath, passing by houses she had never seen in 7 years. She looked at the developed stores and a new shop apparently called 'Hope World'.
She threw the paper airplane powerfully, disappearing into the distance.
She panted and panted. She had no idea where she was going. She didn't even know that she had just passed her brother's house. She looked up to the sky, a thing she hasn't seen in ages.
"Since when was the sun this bright?" She covered her eyes with her fragile hands, her legs were about to collapse. She looked at the Hybe Labels building, a short distance away from her. "Hybe Entertainment? I thought it was BigHit? So Felix is in there? The murderer?" She muttered out loud.
A cold chain was felt around Geongmin's neck.
Geongmin struggled to turn towards the chain owner.
Geongmin made eye contact with a red-haired man.
"F-Felix." She managed to choke out before black spots covered her vision.
