There were very few people nearby who tried to call the ambulance. They took out the drunk driver of the truck and took hold of him.

The pain that they witnessed made them freeze in their places. They all were so desperate yet they couldn't help them at all.

An old lady all this time was behind Mirari and held her shoulders and rubbed her back trying to calm her down.

Mirari didn't realize anything since the only thing she could feel was her love gone, maybe forever.

The old lady got up and picked Jaro from there thinking it would be bad for him to be there anymore. But Jaro didn't want to leave his Dada's hand and his Momma's side.

He was still trying to wake his father up

"Dada, mi dada, momma", he said with his both hands pointing toward his parents and crying while being in the old lady's arms.

She somehow managed to take him a bit away into a room.

Mirari kept on crying, her body felt numb, and she felt like her heart was not beating. She felt as if someone attacked her chest with a thousand blades.

She held Jungkook's other hand putting her head on his forehead and was still trying to stop the blood when the ambulance finally arrived.

It was tough for them. It felt like they should have never gone to that pumpkin patch. Or Mirari could have forced Jungkook to go back home.

That black day was what took away her love, her world, and her happiness, and, her Jungkook. Made her child miss his Dada every day.

Mirari never forgets that day and the last time she saw and heard Jungkook. She tries to overcome the pain.

But the loss is too huge.

Jungkook supported her to become a doctor one day which she is now. The best doctor in town.

But she never forgets that that day she couldn't help her love in any way. This guilt never leaves her. It eats her from the inside.

The man who was driving was put to jail after the trial but giving him punishment won't bring Jungkook back. This won't bring Jaro's loving Dada back.

Their whole life dreams were shattered in some minutes.

She is the best mother. Taking care of her son and not letting Jaro forget anything about Jungkook. She kept telling him his stories and how much he loved him. What he was like or what he would do if he was here, how much he loved Jaro.

She always cooks Jungkook's favorite dishes on his birth and death anniversary to celebrate Jungkook's love in their life.

She stood up again with strength so that Jaro never felt that his father was not there.

It was tough but she did it. Her and Jungkook's parents are her biggest support. Jungkook's parents have always considered her to be their son. They have seen their son inside her.

All of them came together to give love, not as same as Jungkook's but something which would not let both Mirari and Jaro feel lonely.

Mirari and Jungkook's parents asked her to marry again but she denied it. Denied that no one can be a better father to Jaro other than Jungkook. Also, Jungkook's love is enough for her to live forever. She loves him with all her soul.

Jaro is an excellent son. He is intelligent, brave, sweet, and understanding like his father. Whenever Jaro asks where Dada is, she says it's where Siesta is to make him feel his Dada never left.

She gave everything to Jaro. Even though, Jaro got more attached to his pumpkin plushies still the only thing she never accepts is pumpkins in her house.

They give her pain from the past which leaves her broken.

But she can't run away from this now since if Jaro doesn't get one tomorrow, he won't eat for a week. It will be tough for her to manage it then.

This is why she finally decided to let him have the pumpkin that Jungkook wanted Jaro to have.
