Avni pov

As I stepped into the building, my face still burned with a deep shade of pink. Neil's sudden display of affection had left me feeling shy and flustered. I tried to compose myself, but my heart still raced from the encounter and his actions, he is like this now what will he do in future make Shiver run down my spine and cause goosebumps on my body.

I thought embarrassment was enough for today but I was confronted by the trio - Nitya, Somya, and Rahul- standing in front of me, their faces alight with teasing smiles. I felt my cheeks grow even hotter as they blocked my path, their eyes sparkling with mischief.Means there is more for me to bear why I only get those types of people in my life who are ready to tease me.

Nitya grinned at me, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Somya, do you know what the most romantic scene I've ever seen?" she asked, her voice dripping with drama.

Somya shook her head. "I don't know, you tell me," she replied, her eyes wide with mischief.

Nitya's grin grew wider as she said, "When a handsome man lifts you in your arms, literally! Like you weigh nothing at all." Somya's eyes went wide, and she let out a dramatic "Oooooohhhh!"

I felt my face grow even hotter as the trio turned their attention to me, their teasing smiles and giggles making me feel like this ground swallow me and save me from there teasing, I had to think fast to escape from here before they pounce on me with teasing question.

But Rahul jumped into the conversation, his eyes wide with a dramatic expression. "You know what frightened me the most?" he asked, his voice low and mysterious.

Nitya leaned in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "What, Rahul?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rahul's eyes meet mine, and then turn to nitya and somya,he said, "When you interpret a moment between a couple, and the man is looking like he'll kill you right there with his eyes." The group fell silent, their eyes wide with a mix of amusement and awe.

I felt my heart skip a beat as I recalled Neil's intense gaze earlier. It was as if he will burn them, his eyes burning with a fierce possessiveness. I knew exactly what Rahul was talking about, and I couldn't help but wonder if Neil's gaze had been just as intimidating to the others.

But the first thing is to get out of this mess,I threw up my hands, exasperated. "Shut up, all of you! Don't you have work to do? Get out!" I tried to sound stern, but it was hard to maintain a straight face when faced with their teasing grins.

With mischievous smiles still plastered on their faces, they gave me a mock salute. "As you say, Mrs. Neil," they chimed in unison, their voices dripping with amusement. I was about to shout at them, but they quickly running away before I could react.

I shook my head, chuckling despite myself. What type of people had I surrounded myself with? They were always ready to tease me, to push my buttons but make me laugh. I loved them for it, though.

As I made my way to my cabin, I couldn't help but smile. My friends might be a handful, but they were my handful. Nitya, my PA, was always looking out for me, even if she did like to tease me mercilessly. Somya and Rahul, my colleagues, were a lovely couple, always supporting each other and making me laugh. And then there were the others, all of whom brought their own unique brand of chaos to our little team.

I settled into my cabin, taking a deep breath as I prepared to dive into my work. It was going to be a busy day,

My phone buzzed on my desk, breaking the silence. I glanced at the screen to see a message from Neil: "I've reached." I smiled, feeling a flutter in my chest, and replied with a simple "Okay."

Just as I set my phone down, there was a knock at the door. "Come in," I called out, expecting it to be one of my employee. The door swung open, and Nitya walked in, a bright smile on her face.

"Good morning, boss," she said, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "The design team has completed the project, and I've scheduled a meeting with the client to discuss the details."

I nodded, impressed with Nitya's work. "Great job, Nitya. Go ahead and arrange the meeting with the client. After that, we'll head out to inspect the design and make sure everything is perfect."

Nitya nodded, jotting down some notes on her pad. "I'll send you the meeting details, and we can head out from there." She turned to leave, but not before throwing me a teasing glance. "And, boss? Try to keep your mind on the meeting, and not on a certain person."

"I said, get out and do your work!" I exclaimed, laughing despite myself. Listening to my mock-stern command, Nitya let out a playful giggle and ran out of my office, leaving me to wonder, what I could do with these mischievous people.

I shook my head, chuckling, and refocused on my work. The morning flew by in a flurry of meetings, emails, and project discussions. Before I knew it, lunchtime had arrived.

As I unwrapped my lunch and began to eat, I pulled out my phone and sent Neil a message. "Hey, have you had lunch yet?" I typed, curiosity getting the better of me.

I took a bite of my food, savoring the flavors, and waited for Neil's response. The silence was comfortable, and I enjoyed the peacefulness of my office as I ate my lunch.

Neil pov

As I reflected on our earlier encounter, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and satisfaction. I had managed to make Avni blush, to fluster her so completely that she was left breathless and bewildered. holding her in my arms feel peace ,Her sweet fragrance drive my senses crazy. The softness of her body, melting into mine, fitting perfectly against me like a missing puzzle piece.

The way her cheeks had flushed a deep pink, the way her eyes had darted downward, shyly avoiding mine. Her lips had parted slightly, inviting me to claim them, and I had been tempted, oh so tempted, to do just that and her mole on her upper lip make he drive crazy.

But a fierce surge of possessiveness exploded within me, setting my soul on fire as Avni's friends dared to interrupt our sacred moment.
But then, they addressed me as "Jiju," their term for me left them alive. I felt the knowledge that they had about me in Avni's life.

Yet, I couldn't shake off the feeling of raw possessiveness that still lingered within me. I knew that Avni's friends must have witnessed our tender moment from the gate, but I didn't care. In fact, I felt an overwhelming desire to proclaim my love for Avni to the world, to brand her as mine, and mine alone. My love for her was a raging fire that threatened to consume me whole, and I couldn't help but let it blaze for all to see.

With that I reached station and was greeted by DD he said good morning sir
I replied "morning DD,and bring the file related to money laundering case,did the culprit tell something about his boss."

Dd replied "no sir, he is not speaking anything and about the file I will bring it."
I nodded and thought to message Avni, that I have reached and then replied immediately with" okay.

With that time skip to the lunch time , there was avni message asking if I had my lunch,I replied doing only,DD had bought my lunch and I started to have it,then their was a message from my Petal saying "okay.!"

Avni had wrapped up her work, gathering her belongings. She swiftly sent Neil a message, informing him that she was done. His response tell's her that he was on his way.

Avni walked out of the building, her eyes scanning the surrounding area for Neil's familiar car. Before long, a vehicle pulled up in front of her, and Neil emerged from the driver's side. His gesture of opening the passenger door for her always made Avni's heart skip a beat.

As she settled into the comfortable seat, Avni expressed her gratitude with a soft "thank you." Neil's gentle nod acknowledged her appreciation, and he walked around to the driver's side, Once settled, he inquired about her day, his voice low and soothing. "How was your day, Petal?" he asked, his tone filled with genuine interest.

Avni let out a huff, a hint of a smile dancing on her lips. "It was frustrating, thanks to you, all of them didn't leave a chance to tease me .

Neil's expression transformed into a picture of innocence, his eyes wide with curiosity. However, the mischievous undertone in his voice betrayed his innocent look, hinting at a deeper knowledge of the events that had."What did I do, Petal?" Neil asked, his tone dripping with innocence, as if he were truly clueless about the chaos he had done in morning.

Avni's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing through Neil's facade. She knew him too well, and the glint in his eye told her that he was fully aware of the teasing she had endured.

"And why would all those people tease you Petal?" Neil continued, his voice laced with mock concern, his words dripping with sarcasm. He leaned in slightly, his face inches from Avni's, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Avni rolled her eyes, her lips curling into a tight smile. And said"Oh, come on, Neil, Don't play dumb with me. You know exactly what you did." Saying that she lean backward.

Neil's gaze intensified, his eyes burning with an inner fire as he leaned in closer, his face mere inches from Avni's. His hand extended, his fingers grazing her cheek with tender precision, sending shivers down her spine. With deliberate slowness, he tucked a stray strand of her hair behind her ear, his touch igniting a spark within her.

Avni's breathing grew shallow, her chest rising and falling with rapid succession as Neil's proximity overwhelmed her senses. The air around them seemed to thicken, heavy with anticipation, as Neil's fingers trailed down her jawline,

His hand finally came to rest on the nape of her neck, his fingers wrapping around it with gentle possessiveness. Avni's lungs seemed to forget how to function, her breathing ceasing altogether as Neil's eyes locked onto hers. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a sea of tension and desire.

As Neil's thumb caressed the sensitive skin on Avni's neck, he whispered in a low, husky voice, "Tell me, Petal, what did I do?" The vibrations of his voice sent shivers down her spine, and her breathing grew heavier, her chest rising and falling with rapid succession.

Avni's body began to tremble under the intensity of Neil's gaze. His dark brown eyes seemed to bore into her soul, making her speechless . She felt like she was drowning in their depths, unable to process anything beyond the overwhelming desire to surrender to him.

As the tension between them reached a boiling point, Avni's eyelids fluttered closed, unable to bear the intensity of Neil's stare.
His dark brown eyes were her weakness,
the reason she remembered him,
the reason she couldn't forget him. They captivated her mind,
haunting her every moment.

Neil's gaze never wavered, his eyes burning with desire as he leaned in closer, his cheek brushing against Avni's in a slow, sensual movement. As his beard traces her cheek, it sent a tickling sensation coursing through her body, leaving her skin tingling and sensitive.

As his chin touched her shoulder, Neil's lips brushed against Avni's ear, his eyes closed inhaling her fragrance,his warm breath sending shivers down her spine. The gentle touch ignited a fire within her, and Avni's heart pounded in her chest, her very essence responding to Neil's sensual caress.
Neil slowly whisper in her ear with a low deep voice his breath touching avni sensitive area
"Did I held you in my arms, and make the world melt away around us, Petal? The way I wrapped my arms around you, the way you surrender yourself into my arms, Snow."

Avni's senses were enveloped by Neil's intoxicating presence, her breathing grew unsteady, her chest rising and falling with rapid, shallow breaths. Her heart thundered in her chest, Without conscious thought, Avni found herself leaning into Neil's touch, her forehead slowly coming to rest against his shoulder. Her hands instinctively clenched his uniform, Avni was lost, adrift in a sea of conflicting emotions. She felt excited, yet nervous. All she knew was that she was drawn to Neil with an irresistible force.

Gathering her thoughts she whispered slowly "Neil" which he just" humm" in response,his eyes closed inhaling her sweet fragrance, lost in her sweet scent, lost in her presence.

Avni again said while gathering her whole strength and said'' Neil, I think we should go."
Still in his arms and not in mind of leaving the warmth, Neil said slowly in her ear, while touching her ear with his lip"I didn't think you want to leave, petal." He open his eyes and his eye landed on her neck, which make his desire increase for her, he just want to mark her and tell the world that she belongs to him,he belongs to her.He lean backward and came face to face avni, he examine her face, her lashes resting on her cheeks like a silk curtain, her cheeks cover with pink hue, her lips slightly parted inviting him to claim them, taste them and devour them, then his eyes fall on the mole on her upper lip, which always drive him crazy.

Avni came to her sence and saw she is the one how is chlunching his shirt, realisation wash over her and she released his shirt and lean back to came face with Neil who was already looking her with his intense dark deep brown eyes ,not able to hold his gaze her lashes fall ,

He knew he need to stop or he will lose his control,so he leaned back and said'' do you want to have ice cream Petal?"

His remarks make a smile play on her lips because he never makes her feel awkward in any situation ,she just nodded and settled comfortably in her seat and Neil started the car and drove off.

Avni was looking at him from time to time ,his one hand on steering wheel and another on the gear, she saw how his muscle flexed when he turn the steering wheel, she again look at his face which was calm and relaxed.

Coming out of her thoughts and thought to start a conversation and asked "Neil how was you work? " to which he replied" like usual nothing new." And pause for a moment and asked with a grin "you tell me about your, apart from the teasing session." To which she chuckle and said" everything was fine and get new clients . "With that they started to talk, or we can say Avni was speaking and Neil was listening, nodding and humming in response.

With that they reached the icecream parlour and Neil asked Avni " what flavour do you want petal " to which Avni replied after thinking and said" hazelnut choclate " he nodded and said to wait,he will bring icecream , with that he walk out of the car.
After sometime he came with two ice cream and handover Avni her ice cream, they both started to have their ice cream, then Avni forwarded her ice cream towards Neil and said "try it,it is very good." To which Neil obliged and took a bite from it and then forwarded his ice cream towards Avni and said'' try it" too which she happily ate, because who say no to icecream .

Now they are done eating icecream and was heading towards Avni house,and avni was blabbering about her day and other things.
She unconscious slowly started to lean towards Neil, which Neil notice but did not said anything and now Avni was resting her head on Neil's shoulder while her both hand wrap around his bicep and twisting the end sleeve of the shirt.

Neil was completely aware of her actions and started to feel peace in his heart,like this he can live all over his life by avni with his side.
He was nodding and humming at her blabbering and after sometime he felt weight on his shoulder and Avni's blabbering has stopped.

Then he looked towards her side and saw her face covered with her hair, then he slowly lifted his right hand and put a stand of hair behind her ear to take a good look on her face which was looking peaceful and relaxed.
He can stare at her all his life.

With that they reached Avni house and he turned towards Avni , whose face was relaxed and peaceful but he didn't want to disturb her sleep but he had to so, he pull out his phone and call a number and said something and cut the call then he started to remove her hand slowly from her arm and make her lay perfectly on her seat, then he came out of the car and held all the Avni stuff in his hands and proceed to open the passenger side gate and slowly pick Avni in his arms and avni just snuggle in his chest felling the warmth and getting comfortable.

Then he walked towards the main gate there was Neela fangirling over them, getting all excited and amused, Neil was going to enter but stopped by neela and she said excitingly and whispered" stop !!stop! stop!" which make Neil confuse but Neela pull out her phone and started to click pictures and after clicking pictures of them she remove the evil eye from them ( Nazar utarna). Neil just chuckled at her excitement and said "ma, please take these stuff from my hands.
To which she quickly came forward and held the stuffs from his hand and said while chuckling nervously and whisper "sorry!, sorry baccha, I became exited and forgot about everything " Neil just shook his head while chuckling and said "I will took her to her room and maa, please send the photos to me also."
To which neela said excitedly slowly whispering" I will and both of you look so cute together, Haye Mera Dil!!!( Aa my heart )" She exclaimed excitedly and dramatically by putting her hand on her heart.

Neil just chuckled at his overly exciting mother in law and said I will take Avni to her room Neela nodded and give him the way to go.

Neil entered Avni room and make her lay on the bed and then slowly tug her hair aside from her face to have a proper view of her face ,she was looking innocent and cute while sleeping,he just stare her and then slowly lean in and press a gentle kiss on her forehead and "good night Snow" and with that he straight himself and then remove her sandal and tug her into the quilt .

Then walk out her room after seeing her for the last time and walk to living room were Neela was sitting and waiting for him, Neela saw him coming and said" beta come have dinner with us and don't take tension about Avni when she will wake,she will have her dinner" she said because she knew this man infront of her care for her daughter like she is a treasure and can go any extent to protect it.

Neil said'' no ma, some other time ".
But neela was adamant and said "no no! You will eat that's final" Neil just signed and said"ok ma I will " Neela exclaimed happily and said" come let's eat" ,then take Neil to dinner table and make him sat there and said "wait I will came" he nodded and after sometime Neela came with food and started to serve him he try to stop her that he will do but she said no and with that they had there dinner and about kabir he is at company doing work and will come late.

Now Neil was taking his leave,then neela said "come often beta and stay for a bit"
Neil nodded and said"bye ma ".
With that he walks out of the house and starts to drive to his home.
After reaching home he pulled out his phone and sent a message to avni that he had reached home.

Then he entered his room after saying to a worker that he will not have dinner and lay on his bed after changing and freshening up and pull out his phone and saw the pic neela had sent him which make him happy and after sometime he drifted in his dream land while thinking about his Snow.
