"Hey Renee!" I heard Shane and quickly stopped.

"Yes?" I smiled but he did not look happy.

"Look I know you weren't too keen on the idea of being with Baron. But in the couple weeks you were with him he got his ass here on time and while waiting for you to finish up on your work got all the work he missed out on done."

I sighed knowing what was coming.

"And now he is not here?"

I sighed, I wasn't sure what they expected me to do when last week he had been accepting an award in some place. I hadn't seen him in over a week so as far as I was concerned I was done.

"That's not my fault. I got back from the Swerved taping to an empty hotel room to find he went on the road by himself. I couldn't very well follow him in a car now could I? I'm not even sure if he was in that particular city" I pleaded with a small smile despite being annoyed that he was getting me into trouble.

Well slight trouble..

"I'll have Andrea cover your backstage interviews in the meantime"

"Why?"

"Because you need to get him here. There were rumours flying around that he would be buried with what happened last week in his absence and he heard. He believed them and now probably doesn't want to come here because he's pissed."

"Do I look like I'm a 7 foot guy who can pull his ass up here?"

"Renee."

"Fine!" I huffed and headed towards the limo.

"How is there no guy under Baron Corbin? This is the closest hotel to the arena?" I sighed having checked in the morning with Nikki and Nattie.

"Baron the wrestler?"

"Er yeah"

"Oh you two are rooming together, he booked it under your name."

"He did, did he?" I sighed and smiled as I took the key card and made my way up to the room.

As soon as I entered I saw the one bed which was occupied by him as he seemed to be scrolling through channels.

I sighed and walked over to the bed and grabbed it causing his eyes to shoot up and then roll them.

"What are you doing here?"

"I'm in my room" I smiled as I stepped out of my flats and climbed over him so that I was seated opposite him on the bed.

"You could have walked around"

"That's twice as long. Look I know you hate my company. I wouldn't even call it that but yes you hated my minimal company and me questioning you. But you could have just said fuck off in the gym, not go M.I.A. Or at least let me know you were heading to an Awards show and not going to the next city. I knew you said you'd leave me stranded but I figured we had a few more weeks before that" I giggled trying to not seem annoyed even though I certainly was. I guess me confronting him screwed up him actually tolerating me I mean he had ordered me breakfast and gotten my luggage.

He didn't say anything.

"What? Did I embarrass you in front of people you don't even care about. Well then I'm sorry but just because I'm Miss Nice person doesn't mean you get to offend me."

He simply glanced at me and then at the screen again.

I sighed, "You have a job which you need to be at Baron."

"A job? They're pushing me back down for missing one fucking week"

"And you call me crazy? They're not pushing you down. I don't know where you heard they were but you still have your match whether you were out last week or not. Last week helped promote the WWE, why on earth would they be stupid enough to push you down when people have so much faith in you. Yes WWE has their face people like John Cena or AJ Styles but they love their unique talent as well and that is what you bring I mean unless Rolling Stone is not accurate"

I bit my lip having seen his post, I figured following the guy on instagram would give me an idea to where he was. For a lone wolf he was quite active...

He looked over at me and I took his hand in mine trying to drag him up. "I'm not sure what they want from you tonight but they wouldn't be noticing your absence for nothing."

I saw a small smirk appear on his blank face , "you find this funny?"

"You're not strong enough honey"

I rolled my eyes and pretended to move over him but as I did I tugged hard on his hand catching him off guard. And he ended up sitting up against me faster than The Undertaker getting up to break all hell loose.

This was certainly not helping my personal space boundaries but I couldn't think about it being the first time I was in a position like this with a guy in quite some time. I had to get to work and do my job not be stuck in a hotel room.

"Please just come to work. I'll lie and say we're rooming together as long as you just show up for what you are meant to." I whined getting frustrated because this guy wasn't going anywhere and I needed to get back and if I didn't show up with him well then I failed Shane and I failed him because he would probably be suspended.

I moved back but he pulled on my waist before me tightly against him causing my breath to hitch a bit.

"No."

"Fine don't show up. I have to go and.."

He shook his head causing me to stop.

"I'll show up but you'll be travelling with me. I just needed a few days to myself." He shrugged glancing away briefly before his brown eyes were set on me again.

"Okay then." I tried to move but he held me in place.

"Am I your first travelling guy?"

I smiled not sure about the question. "Mmmm well if you exclude JBL, Michael Cole and Corey and.."

He rolled his eyes and lift me off him making me giggle as he stood up.

"You are the first one I have shared a bed with though and spooned might I add" I smiled as I switched on the light but as I said the last part I saw the slight shade of pink on his pale skin that I had seen last week.

"Good." He nodded before picking up his backpack by the door heading out and I realized I had to be following instead of basking on my victory.

"Hey wolf, wait up!"

"You okay?"

"Yeah just had a rough night when I arrived but I'm good" I smiled as I was laid on the equipment box being free.

He kissed my cheek before hearing his music I couldn't decided whether he was a new version of HBK or someone I don't know.

I felt the box move and quickly sat back and saw Baron amused before he stopped. "I could have fallen off you know?"

"For those milliseconds?"

"Someone seems cheery"

"I'm not" he sat back as I crossed my legs.

"Awww are you happy to have me back in your bed. Baron Corbin you missed me, don't worry I'll be sure to hold you close to me tonight"

The blush again.

"Are you heading out there?"

"Yeah." He nodded as AJ and Dolph were talking.

"Should I go and keep my eyes off all monitors for a savage beating up ahead?"

He shrugged but then smirked, "you might enjoy it"

"I might enjoy a lot of things but it doesn't mean I endure them"

He searched my eyes before opening his mouth to question but his music played and I waved while he rolled his eyes and walked ahead.

"Dolph, you don't steal the show. You steal opportunities, so next week..."

I jumped as he attacked Dolph and sighed as I should have known.

I liked to believe Baron was becoming more tolerable I mean he didn't walk past me like he usually did and actually stopped to chat, so progress.

Yes you could say us spooning or me being fixed on his lap an hour before was that but I liked to believe what happened in our room stayed in our room.

Dolph attempted to fight back but of course Baron hooked in the EOD.

I smiled as the "One more time" chants kicked in to no avail as he simply left the ring.

I hopped off and made my down the hallway but soon saw him beside me.

"You could have given it one more time" I mused.

"Figured I'd spare him since you were flirting with him before he went on" He huffed before moving on.

Flirting with him?
