The moms of the three time Grammy winning acapella group Pentatonix have decided to sit down and be interviewed by us today! So without further ado, let's welcome the Moms of Pentatonix!

Mitch Grassi-Hoying is married to the baritone of Pentatonix, Scott Hoying. They have six children together!

Tara Olusola is married to the beat boxer of Pentatonix, Kevin Olusola. They have four children together!

Grace Sallee is married to new bassist of Pentatonix, Matt Sallee. They have four children together!

Kirstie Maldonado is divorced from Jeremy Lewis and is currently dating Blaine Rogers. Kirstie and Jeremy have five children together!

Pentatonix's tour manager Esther Koop is married to Darien Koop. They have five children together!

Kate Kaplan is married to the former bassist of Pentatonix, Avi Kaplan. They have eight children together!

Welcome! Thank you so much for talking with us today!

Mitch: "Thanks for having us!"

Tara: "I hope I don't look like a hot mess! My hair is wild due to the humidity!" *laughs*

Grace: "I'm nervous! This is my first interview ever! Matt was laughing at me right before we came over here!"

Kirstie: "I love to do interviews! They are a lot of fun!"

Esther: "Thank you for having us! I hope our kids are behaving for our husbands!" *laughs*

Kate: "Hello, everyone! Long time no see!"

• How old are your kids? •

Tara: "Hayden is nine, Laila is four, Henry is going to be two in December and Mallory just turned one."

Kate: "Dakota is nine, Tobias is seven, Israel is almost six, Abigail is five, Ezra is four, Kaiya is three, Wren is two, and Jasper is ten months."

Mitch: "Liam is twelve, Hudson is nine, Sophia is six and a half, Isabella is five, Sawyer is almost four, and Amelia is two."

Kirstie: "Jett and Jude are seven, Reed is almost four, Harper is two and Piper is one! Blaine's daughter Madison is six!"

Esther: "Evalina is eight, Gabriel and Noah are four, Hana is two, and Annabelle will be one on Halloween!"

Grace: "Lilianna and Elianna are six, Kellen is almost four and Isaiah is one."

• Who has adopted children?  •
Kate, Tara, Esther and Kirstie all happily raise their hands.

Kate: "Four of our eight children are adopted! Tobias and Abigail are full biological siblings while Dakota and Kaiya are half siblings. Avi and I always wanted a big family, so adoption helped us achieve our family dream. The kids all get along great and they don't use the term "adopted sibling" they just say that's my brother or sister."

Kirstie: "My twins are adopted! My ex-husband and I thought adoption would be a wonderful thing to do to add to our family! A lot of his friends adopted kids and a lot of my friend's adopted kids so we know how amazing it is! Jett and Jude are considered special needs. Jett has cochlear implants while Jude has ADHD and a learning disability. They are amazing boys and I'm so blessed to be their mom!"

Esther: "Evalina, Hana and Annabelle are all adopted. Evalina and Hana are actually half siblings but we didn't know that when we first adopted Hana. I never thought I could get pregnant, so my husband Darien and I first adopted Evalina. Then we were blessed with our twin boys. After they turned almost two, we adopted Hana and right before the new year Annabelle came into our life."

Tara: "Kevin adopted Hayden, who was my son from a previous relationship. Also, our youngest Mallory is adopted and her adoption is an open one. Mallory's birth mom visits her a lot! She is a younger mom, so she has a lot of things to still work on but she was so brave to let her daughter be adopted. The birth of Mallory was very traumatic for her. Mallory loves seeing her!"

• Where did you meet your husband or boyfriend? •

Kate: "I met Avi online! We then met in person three months later, when Avi and Pentatonix came to England, where I'm from! I've been in the United States since right before Israel was born! I am a duel citizen of the United States and England!" 

Tara: "I met Kevin at a bar actually! He was there doing karaoke with his friends and I was out with my friends. That was the very first time I went out with my friends since I had my eldest son, Hayden. My best friend introduced me to Kevin and we've been together ever since! I was really nervous because I was a single mom and I didn't wanna scare Kevin with a young baby, but Kevin embraced fatherhood and has been there since Hayden was three months old."

Mitch: "I met Scott when we were both eight years old! We did little plays together at CATS, which was a theater and school in our hometown of Arlington Texas! We started to date in high school and we've been together since!"

Grace: "Matt and I met at church in our home state of Maryland! Our friends set us up and we've been together since then! He was my first boyfriend and my first everything!"

Esther: "Darien and I met at a little sandwich shop. We became friends and then began to date! Now we are happily married! We still go to that sandwich shop on our anniversary!"

Kirstie: "I met Jeremy through a group of mutual friends! We dated a few years and then got married. We have been divorced for almost a year now. I met my current boyfriend Blaine at the park! His daughter Madison and my son Reed bumped into each other. Then Blaine and I started to talk! Isn't that funny? *laughs*

• How do you juggle family life while your spouse or boyfriend is working? •

Mitch: "I actually work with my husband! *laughs* We have incredible family that fly in to help us when we tour! We usually tour during the summer time or winter break, so the kids are home! We also have phenomenal friends who live near us that can help watch the kids while Scott and I are working at home. Family time comes first to all of us and we all sit together and work out our tours and other events like that."

Esther: "We sure do! We have so many kids we have them in age order on a spread sheet to keep track! *laughs* I usually work at home! The only time I'm really out of the home is when Pentatonix is on tour. Darien has it under control!"

Grace: "This summer tour was Matt's first big tour! We did the Christmas tour but that was a small one. I survived! Luckily it was the summertime and the kids were all home! Also, my mom came into town for a few weeks!"

Kirstie: "My ex-husband Jeremy and I have a very flexible custody agreement. We both travel for work, so when he's traveling I have the kids. I also have the kids during the school week and he has the kids every other weekend depending on what's going on in our lives. Then in the summer time, we do the every other week schedule. I'll have them for a week and then Jeremy will have them for a week. If I'm traveling or on tour, he has the kids. His fiancé Ashlea is an amazing lady and she treats my kids just like her own. The kids love seeing their new baby sister, as well as Ashlea's two children. The kids really have fun at their Dad's and that's what I want when I'm busy working. I don't want them sad."

Kate: "When Avi was with Pentatonix he always made sure I had somebody with me at the house to help me with the kids. But now that he's working on his own, he makes his hours very flexible. Avi makes sure he doesn't plan a lot of music related things during the summer time because that's when I need him the absolute most at home. All of the kids are home from school and it gets very chaotic!" *laughs*

Tara: "I have my family very close by, so when Kevin's on tour or traveling with Pentatonix, the kids and I are with my sister and family a lot!"

• Do you guys want anymore kids? •

Kirstie: "I get asked this so so much ever since I started dating Blaine! I'm really not sure yet! We are happy with the six we have! But you never know what our future holds for our family!"

Grace: "Matt and I are 90% done! We still haven't decided fully. I grew up in a big family, I have four older brothers and I was the only girl!"

Mitch: "I've been done since Miss Amelia was born! Six is a perfect number for us! I miss the baby stage, but I don't miss waking up all the time. Amelia is at the age where she is independent at times but yet still wants my cuddles or my help."

Esther: "We will always be open minded. You never know when a child desperately needs a home. If the opportunity arises we will not decline a child. That's how Annabelle came into our life. Darien and I love to help children in need."

Kate: "I believe Avriel and I's family is complete! However, Avi wants a dog, so we will see about that!" *laughs*

Tara: "I'm pretty sure Kevin and I's family is finished! Hayden wants another cat so we may have another kitten in the Olusola family."

• Black coffee or Tea? •
Grace: "I love them both! I would say coffee though! Need energy!" *laughs*

Kirstie: "I really don't like black coffee but I'll take the coffee! This mama needs a coffee with my three active boys, especially my twins!"

Mitch: "Coffee definitely! I LOVE me some coffee! I love all types of coffee too! I'm a Starbucks queen!"

Kate: "I LOVE tea! I am an England girl at heart! I still have tea during lunch time and the kids love to have tea as well."

Tara: "Coffee! I need coffee because I am not a morning person at all!"

Esther: "I really love tea! It's very relaxing and helps me calm down."

• Dogs or Cats? •
Kate: "I really love cats and Avi loves dogs. Avi has been wanting a dog for ages now! So maybe we will get a dog soon."

Esther: "I love dogs! We adopted our dog Sebastian from the shelter!

Kirstie: "DOGS!" *laughs* "Olaf and Pascal were my first sons!"

Tara: "I'm a cat person! I grew up with six cats! Hayden is a cat person just like me as well!"

Mitch: "Ugh, I love them both don't make me choose! Our family has two cats and two dogs!"

Grace: "Does it sound bad if I'm not a pet person? I didn't grow up with pets and my eldest brother was attacked by a dog as a little kid. However I love rabbits."

• Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt?
Tara: "This is a HARD one! I'm going to say ice cream though. Even though I love me some
whipped frozen yogurt."

Kate: "I wanna say frozen yogurt! My brother is lactose intolerant so I think that's why I never really liked ice cream. However, Avi introduced me to some yummy ice cream flavors!" *laughs*

Esther: "I love them both! I don't know what to choose!"

Grace: "Frozen yogurt! I like the consistency of yogurt better for some reason!"

Mitch: "Ice cream! I seriously eat ice cream all the time. Scott and I eat ice cream every night when the kids go to bed." *laughs*

Kirstie: "Definitely ice cream! But my kids love yogurt!"

• Taco Bell or McDonalds?
Grace: "Taco Bell! Matt and I went there all the time when we were dating!"

Mitch: "Honestly can I pick both! I love them both so much!"

Tara: "I'm a McDonald's girl! But I love Taco Bell too! But if I had to choose, I would pick McDonalds!"

Kirstie: "McDonald's but Taco Bell when I'm drunk!" *laughs*

Kate: "I don't really like fast food! I didn't have it much when I was growing up! But I love Wendy's!"

Esther: "I would have to say McDonald's!"

• Coke or Pepsi?
Kirstie: "I like them both to be honest!"

Grace: "Coke!"

Esther: "Coke!"

Kate: "Pepsi!"

Mitch: "Coke!"

Tara: "Pepsi!"
