Tara and Kevin have been dating for about six months now. Tara has told Kevin about her son, Hayden, and Kevin can't wait to meet him. So tonight, Tara is going to ask Kevin if he would like to meet her son for the very first time. Hayden's father has never been in the picture, and Tara has been raising him alone.

Kevin and Tara are out to dinner. "How was rehearsal?" Tara says as she eats her bread stick. "It went really well! How was your day?" Kevin asks. "It was okay, went to work, and then came home, took a nap with Hayden, and now I am with you." Tara says with a smile and Kevin smiles back.

Tara has been wanting Kevin to meet Hayden, but she doesn't know how to ask him if he's ready to meet him.

"How is Hayden?" Kevin asks as he cuts his food up with a knife. "He is doing really well! His cold is gone and he is teething a lot." Tara says smiling at the fact that Kevin is asking about her son.

She decides to ask Kevin if he is ready to meet Hayden. "Aw, I'm glad he doesn't have a cold anymore." Kevin says.

"My sister is watching Hayden for me tonight. Would you like to meet him? You don't have to right now, I understand if you don't want to." Tara says shyly Kevin smiles as he kisses Tara's hand.

"Of course! I would love to meet your son." Kevin says with a grin. Tara smiles, knowing that Kevin is ready to meet her pride and joy, Hayden.

Once they finish dinner, Kevin and Tara head to Tara's place. Kevin drives Tara home and Tara calls her sister to bring Hayden home.

Ten minutes later, Tara's sister Jane comes in with Hayden in his car seat. Tara, Kevin and Jane talk for a few minutes, and Jane leaves to head back home. Tara picks Hayden up and kisses his cheek.

"Hayden, this is Kevin! Kevin, this is Hayden." Tara says as she chuckles. Hayden giggles as he looks at Kevin.

"He looks just like you!" Kevin says and Tara smiles from ear to ear. "Thank you. I'm gonna make him a bottle. Would you like to hold him? You don't have to if you don't want to." Tara says and Kevin nods.

Tara hands Hayden to Kevin. Kevin tickles Hayden and he giggles. "Hey bud, it's so nice to finally meet you!" Kevin says as he bounces Hayden on his legs.

Tara grins ear to ear as she sees Kevin and Hayden together for the first time. Tara makes a bottle for Hayden and walks in the living room.

"I can feed him for you if you like, Tara." Kevin says. Tara nods and hands him the bottle. Tara is surprised to see how hands on Kevin is with Hayden and how well he is with babies.

"You are doing so well with him, you are a natural." Tara says as she takes the bottle from Kevin. "Two of my band mates Scott and Mitch, have a son, and they bring him on tour a lot, so I have baby practice." Kevin says with a grin as he burps Hayden.

Kevin hands Hayden back to Tara. "There's Mommy, little man." Kevin says as he rubs Hayden's back.

Kevin gets ready to leave Tara's place and he opens the door to see it pouring down raining with thunder and lightning. "I don't want you leaving the house in this awful weather, Kevin. Stay here, sweety." Tara says as she kisses Hayden's forehead.

"I have a bag of clothes in my car, because of tour! So let me get that and I'll spend the night." Kevin says and Tara giggles. Kevin runs to his car and grabs his bag.

"Thank you for letting me stay!" Kevin says. "You're welcome! I'm glad we are finally having a sleep over!" Tara says as she kisses Kevin happily.

"Let's head to bed, I'm tired." Tara says. Kevin nods and grabs two bottles of water for himself and Tara. Tara, Hayden and Kevin head into her bedroom. "I'm so sorry it's a mess in here." Tara says. "It's fine Tara. Don't worry about anything, love." Kevin says.

Tara puts Hayden in his bassinet to sleep. Tara kisses his cheek softly. "Do you mind having Hayden in here with us? I can always call my mom or sister to take him." Tara says.

"Tara, please stop worrying. I love you and I would hate for you to think Hayden is going to mess our relationship up. He's your son and I don't mind him being here. I love that little guy." Kevin says as he hugs Tara.

Tara and Kevin kiss and they lay down.
"Do you want to watch tv?" Tara asks and Kevin nods as he cuddles with Tara. After watching a few shows, they fall asleep in each other's arms.

Tara and Kevin got up a few times through out the night with Hayden. Kevin helped Tara by making bottles and throwing diapers away. Tara never thought Kevin would be so kind and open minded. She thought telling Kevin when they first met would ruin their relationship and it hasn't. Kevin loves her for her and he loves her son.

Tara smiles and realizes that Kevin is definitely a keeper :)
