*The first week home with Scarlett has been tough! But, Alex, Jake and Scarlett finally have somewhat of a routine. Alex decides to treat Jake to breakfast in bed! I hope you guys are enjoying these! Love you guys! • Bree 😇

Last night was pretty rough! Scarlett would not fall back asleep without a battle. Jake and Alex are still are trying to figure out Scarlett's routine and what works to calm her down.

It took Jake two hours each time after he fed Scarlett to get her back to sleep. Alex tries to help, but Jake doesn't want Alex to loose sleep because of going back to work soon.

Alex picks up Scarlett from her bassinet and puts her in her baby carrier. Scarlett sucks on her pacifier quietly and Alex kisses her forehead gently.

Jake is still in a deep slumber, he is truly exhausted after last night! Alex covers Jake up and walks out of the bedroom.

Alex walks down the steps softly and quietly. Scarlett is still content in her carrier but she is awake now.

"Good morning, princess! You had a rough night, didn't you? What's up with that, girly?" Alex says to Scarlett, knowing he obviously won't get a response back.

"Let me change you and give you a nice warm bottle." Alex says as he grabs what he needs and begins to change Scarlett's diaper.

"No wonder you were fussy last night! You had a tummy ache, huh? Poor girly. I'm so sorry Daddy and I didn't know. You are all clean!" Alex says as he changes Scarlett's clothes. Scarlett begins to cry.

"Shh shh shh, it's okay baby! It's okay. Nice and fresh outfit for the day! Look how precious you look!" Alex says he takes a picture of Scarlett.

Alex puts Scarlett back in her carrier, while he makes Scarlett a bottle. Alex feeds Scarlett and she eats it all.

"Good job, princess! You must have been hungry, huh?" Alex says as he burps Scarlett. "Let's see what we can make for Daddy. Daddy deserves a nice, yummy breakfast." Alex says as he kisses Scarlett.

Scarlett gives Alex a dirty look and he chuckles. "What's with the tude? One week going on thirteen!" Alex says.

Scarlett drifts back to sleep and Alex kisses her cheek. The way she looks sleeping is just like Jake. Alex decides to make Jake some French toast, which is his favorite, with sausages, a small fruit salad and strawberry jelly toast.

As he cooks, he checks in Scarlett who is in the carrier. She is sleepy peacefully with no pacifier, but Alex has a pacifier close by, just in case she wants it.

"Okay princess, lets give Daddy his yummy breakfast, hopefully he eats it all." Alex says as he puts the food on the carrying tray. Alex pours orange juice in a glass and he quietly heads upstairs.

He opens the door to see Jake has rolled over but is still fast asleep. Alex takes Scarlett out of her carrier and he puts Scarlett in her favorite thing, her swing. Scarlett yawns and falls back asleep.

Alex begins to softly rub Jake's back and he softly kisses Jake's neck and cheek. Jake begins to groan. Alex softly kisses Jake's cheek again.

Jake opens his eyes and yawns. He looks at his end table and sees the food neatly placed on the tray. "Aw, Alex! Thank you, baby. You didn't have to do that!" Jake says as he hugs Alex tight and kisses him twice.

Alex puts the tray in Jake's lap. "You're welcome, sunshine! I know you had a rough night last night. I wanted to treat you to something special. I love you very much." Alex says with a smile.

"I love you too, sweety! Thank you so much." Jake says as he begins to eat. Scarlett begins to fuss again. Alex walks over and picks her up.

"What's wrong, princess? It's okay, sweety. It's okay! Shhh, shhh." Alex says as he rocks Scarlett in his arms.

"Did she eat, okay?" Jake asks and Alex nods. "She ate all of her bottle. She had a lot of poop in her diaper, I think she has an upset tummy." Alex says as he begins to rub Scarlett's back.

"Sometimes she needs to be burped twice." Jake says as he continues to eat. Alex burps Scarlett and she gives a tiny burp.

"I think it's either the bottles or the formula. When we go to her doctor's appointment tomorrow I'm going to ask her." Jake says and Alex nods.

"Do you wanna see Daddy, sweety?" Alex asks Scarlett and Jake puts the boppy pillow next to him. Alex props Scarlett up on the boppy pillow and she looks up at Jake.

"Hi baby! I'm so sorry you have a tummy ache. Papa will find you some medicine to help you, okay?" Jake says with a smile at Scarlett who is smiling.

Alex walks in with a bowl of cereal for himself. "Alex! I could have shared with you silly!" Jake says as he laughs.

"I wanted you to have a nice breakfast. And is this the medicine?" Alex says as he hands Jake the box. Jake nods and reads the directions.

Jake gives Scarlett the medicine and she begins to cry. "Aw, Scarlett I am so sorry! Shh, shh, shh. It's okay." Jake says as he soothes Scarlett. Scarlett calms down and begins to suck on her fingers.

Alex gently puts the pacifier in her mouth. Scarlett happily accepts it and begins to suck on it. Jake feeds Alex a bite of food.

"I love you, Jake. I love you so much." Alex says as he rubs Jake's cheek. "I love you, too. Can you put Scarlett in her bassinet?" Jake asks and Alex nods as he softly picks up a sleeping Scarlett. Alex kisses her cheek and puts her in the bassinet.

"Cuddle?" Jake says and Alex nods. Jake lays his head on Alex's lap and yawns. "Let's sleep and watch movies all day. Scarlett already has a head start!" Alex says with a giggle and kisses Jake's head.

Jake, Alex and Scarlett had a lazy day at home <3
