Today is Evalina's third birthday and her first birthday at home. Esther and Darien have a party set up for her next week. But today, Esther and Darien want to celebrate their little girl's special day.

Darien is making Evalina's favorite breakfast, an egg and cheese sandwich. "Time to wake up the birthday girl!" Esther says smiling at Darien, giving him a soft kiss.

Esther walks into Evalina's bedroom. Evalina is still sleeping peacefully, holding her purple blankey and her giraffe. Esther begins to rub Evalina's back. Evalina begins to open her eyes slowly.

"Good morning, sweety. Happy birthday!" Esther says in a whisper. Evalina yawns and hugs Esther. "Good morning, Mama." Evalina says.

"Happy birthday, baby girl. I love you so much." Esther says kissing Evalina's cheek. "I'm three." Evalina says in her sleepy voice.

"Yes, your are sweety. Are you hungry?" Esther asks and Evalina nods. "Daddy is making you your favorite breakfast!" Esther says with a big smile.

Evalina's face lights up and she gets out of her bed, heading to the bathroom to pee. Evalina comes back in her bedroom as Esther finishes making her bed. Esther picks up Evalina and takes her downstairs.

"Happy birthday, Evalina Marie!" Darien says with a big smile and Evalina yawns. Darien kisses Evalina's forehead and she smiles. "Thank you, Daddy!" Evalina says as she begins to eat.

"You're welcome, princess. I am so happy I am your dad." Darien says to Evalina. Evalina begins to eats her sandwich. "Is it good, baby?" Esther asks and Evalina nods.

"Evie, would you like to go to Build A Bear?" Esther asks and Evalina happily nods. "What animal would you like to make?" Darien asks.

"A pony." Evalina says with a big smile. After breakfast, Esther and Evalina head upstairs to get dressed.

"Which shirt would you like to wear birthday princess?" Esther asks. "This one!" Evalina says with a giggle. Evalina picks a Little Mermaid shirt with bright green leggings.

"Oo! Look what I have!" Esther says holding up a ribbon that says: "Today is my birthday!" Esther puts the ribbon on Evalina's shirt.

"How would you like your hair to look today, lovebug?" Esther asks as she brushes Evalina's hair.

"Like Anna!" Evalina says pointing to her Frozen poster. Esther begins to braid Evalina's black thick hair. Darien walks in to see Evalina's smiling.

"Pretty princess!" Darien says. After a few minutes, Esther has everything ready to go.

Darien picks up Evalina and puts her in her booster seat. "There you go. All ready!" Darien says as he hands Evalina her favorite blankey.

Evalina holds her blanket close and Darien shuts the car door.

Darien and Esther sit up front and Darien begins to drive to the mall. "This is the first time you are going to the mall, isn't it sweety?" Esther asks and Evalina nods.

"Mama, I'm scared." Evalina says. "Don't be scared, baby. The mall is fun! There is going to be a lot of people, but just hold Daddy and I's hand, okay?" Esther says.

"We are here!" Darien says looking back at Evalina. Esther opens the door and helps Evalina out of the car. "Are you ready?" Darien says and Evalina nods.

Darien, Esther and Evalina walk into Build A Bear workshop. Evalina begins to look all over the room. Evalina walks over to the non stuffed animals and looks up at Esther.

"First, you pick which one you want. Then the lady over there is going to put the stuffing in it." Esther says. Evalina picks the unicorn.

Evalina walks to the lady at the stuffing machine. "Hi! I'll stuff your unicorn for you. Pick what color heart you would like in it." The worker says with a smile.

Evalina picks the pink heart and gives it a kiss. The worker stuffs it and hands it to Evalina. "There you go, sweety! Happy birthday!" The worker says. "Thank you." Evalina says softly.

"What a cute unicorn! Look! There's a bathtub, wanna give your unicorn a bath?" Darien asks and Evalina nods. Evalina puts her unicorn in the bathtub and gave it a bath. She giggles as she "cleans" the unicorn off.

"Good girl, Evie. What's your unicorn's name?" Esther asks as she takes pictures of Evalina. "Rainbow!" Evalina says as she hugs the unicorn.

"Look, it has on here that you are Rainbow's mommy!" Esther says at the cute little Build A Bear birth certificate. Evalina hugs and kisses her unicorn. Esther and Darien haven't seen Evalina smile this much since bringing her home.

Esther and Darien smile at each other knowing how happy Evalina truly is. Evalina walks around, looking at all the clothes. "You can pick out four outfits, okay?" Esther says and Evalina nods.

Evalina picks out a singer outfit, a ballerina outfit, a dress and a doctor outfit for her unicorn. "Thank you, Mama. Thank you, Daddy." Evalina says smiling.

"You're welcome, sweetheart! I am so glad you had fun!" Esther says. "You're welcome, Evie!" Darien says picking Evalina up.

After Build A Bear, Darien, Esther, and Evalina are out to eat at Applebee's. The waitress comes over and Darien and Esther order their food. "Evalina, what would you like to eat?" Esther asks softly.

"Chicken nuggets!" Evalina says happily. The waitress writes down what they ordered. "Happy birthday, sweety!" The waitress says as she hands Evalina a color book.

"Thank you!" Evalina says. "You're welcome!" The waitress says as she walks away. "That was very nice of the waitress to give you that." Darien says. Evalina begins to color in her new coloring book.

"Mama, Daddy. I wuv you!" Evalina says, sipping her milk. Esther and Darien smile at each other. "I love you too." Esther says. "And I love you too. Did you have a great birthday?" Darien asks.

"I had an awesome birthday Daddy and Mama!" Evalina says smiling at Darien and Esther. Darien, Esther and Evalina begin to eat their dinner. "Is it good?" Esther asks Evalina and Evalina nods.

Darien buys a cupcake for Evalina and puts the three candles in it. Darien and Esther begin to sing happy birthday to Evalina and as blows out the candles. "Did you make a wish?" Esther asks and Evalina nods.

After dinner, Esther, Darien and Evalina head home. Once home, It begins to thunder and rain hard. Evalina gets scared.

"It's okay baby. You want to sleep with Mama and I?" Darien asks and Evalina nods. Esther gives Evalina a bubble bath to help calm her down.

Evalina yawns as Esther blow dries her hair. Esther picks up Evalina and puts her
in her and Darien's bed. Evalina snuggles next to Esther.

"Goodnight princess, if you get scared during the night, wake me or Mama up okay?" Darien says. Evalina nods and Darien kisses her cheek. "Goodnight sweety, get some sleep." Esther says and Evalina falls asleep.
