Kate found out today that she and Avi are expecting again! While Avi is at work, Kate thinks of a cute way to tell Avi the exciting news! Kate googles pregnancy announcements and scrolls through Pinterest to find the perfect idea.

Kate decides makes a road work sign out of construction paper. The plan is to tape the sign to her stomach and have Israel reveal the news to Avi! Kate begins to make the sign as she hears Israel scream and cry.

"Mama!" Israel says as he runs over to Kate. Israel's cheeks are tear stained. "Aw, what happened, Issy? Did the kitty scratch you?" Kate asks and Israel nods.

"Come here, it's okay Issy." Kate says rubbing Israel's back. "It's okay baby boy, Mama is here. I love you." Kate says kissing Israel

"Wuv you, Mama." Israel says as he puts his head on Kate's chest. "You can sit with me." Kate says as she smiles and kisses Israel's forehead.

Kate finishes cutting out the sign as Israel sits with her. "Mama has a baby in her belly!" Kate says happily as Israel plays with her phone.

"'Mama, game?" Israel asks Kate. Israel doesn't understand the special news just yet! "Here's your game, baby boy." Kate says clicking on Israel's alphabet game app. This help distract Israel while she makes the sign.

Prissy the cat walks over and sniffs Israel.
"Aw, look. Prissy is sorry baby. She didn't mean to scratch you. You can't touch her tail, okay?" Kate says as she kisses Israel's cheek.

"Otay. Hi kitty." Israel says as he pets Prissy softly. "Here you can play on the floor, just be careful around Prissy." Kate says.

Kate lets Israel play on the floor. Kate puts the sign on her stomach and covers it up with her shirt. Kate hears the door unlock and Israel gets excited when Avi walks into the room.

"Daddy!" Israel says smiling. "Hey bud! I missed you!" Avi says as he hugs Israel tightly.

"Kitty made a mark." Israel says pointing to his scratch. "Remember Mama told you not to mess with Prissy's tail." Avi says as he kissing Israel.

"Mama, surprise!" Israel says. "A surprise? What kind of surprise!" Avi says as he picks up Prissy and pets her. Kate walks over to Israel.

"Issy, show Daddy what's under my shirt!" Kate says with smile. Israel runs over to Kate and giggles loudly.

"Show me what?" Avi asks. Israel lifts up Kate's shirt to show Avi the sign on Kate's belly. The signs says. "Baby Kaplan #2 Coming In April."

Avi smiles. "Are you serious?" Avi says and Kate nods. "When did you find out, babe!" Avi says as he hugs Kate tightly. "I found out today! Are you excited?" Kate asks and Avi nods.

"I am super excited! How are you feeling?" Avi asks as he kisses Kate's cheek. "I feel pretty good, just tired and a little nauseous." Kate says as she rubs Avi's shoulders.

"I love you so much!" Avi says hugging Kate again. "I love you, Avi!" Kate says as she kisses Avi's cheek. "Daddy! Can we play?" Israel asks.

"Of course we can, little man! Let me change my clothes!" Avi says as Israel plays with his blocks.

"Babe, why don't you rest. I can watch Israel, so you can relax for a little while sweetheart." Avi says as he kisses Kate again.

"Thank you, Avi. I'm going to take a shower and relax. I love you." Kate says softly. "I love you too." Avi says.

A few weeks later, on Halloween, Avi and Kate announced the pregnancy. Kate posted a picture of her showing her small baby bump with paint on it that says: "Baby Kaplan Due In April!".

She put the caption as: "Avi and I are happy to announce that we are expecting our second child! Issy can't wait to meet his new brother or sister!"

Avi posted a picture of four pumpkins, one that says Daddy, one that says Mama, one that says Israel, and one that says Baby Kaplan. Avi put the caption as: "Coming in April 👶🏼"
