*Avi decides to help Kate and takes five of the kids grocery shopping! I need suggestions for this book badly! I hope you guys enjoy this! Love • Bree 😘

Avi is getting ready to take the five older kids to  go grocery shopping! Kate has a cold and doesn't feel good at all. Kate is laying on the couch and Jasper is in his swing close by.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take Jasper?" Avi asks Kate as he covers her up with his crotchet blanket.

"I'll be fine with Jasper, sweety. He is having a growth spurt and so he wants to nurse all the time. He doesn't wanna take a bottle just yet." Kate says as she puts her hair up in a bun.

Abigail and Ezra walk down the steps holding hands. "Mama!" Abigail says as she tries to climb on Kate.

"Easy on Mama, Abby. She doesn't feel good." Avi says. "Feel better, Mama!" Abigail says, hugging Kate.

"Thank you, princess." Kate says, kissing Abigail's cheek. Ezra then hugs Kate and Kate kisses his cheek.

Tobias carries Wren in his arms while Israel follows closely behind. "Mama!" Israel says as he runs over to Kate.

"There's two big boys and my baby girl." Kate says as Tobias hands Wren to Kate.

Kate kisses Tobias, Israel and Wren. Kate then hugs and kisses Ezra and Abigail.

*Wren, Abby, Ezra, Israel and Tobias outfits*

"Guys, we are going to go grocery shopping for Mama. Who wants to be my big helper?" Avi asks the kids. "Me!" Tobias yells.

"Me too!" Israel says, jumping up and down. "I wanna be a helper!" Abigail says as she whips her hair.

"You can be a helper! You too, Ezra." Avi says making Ezra and Abigail smile. "Wait, Mama isn't coming?" Israel says with a frown.

"No, I am going to stay home with Prissy and Jasper. You are going to have fun with Daddy, I promise." Kate says fixing Ezra and Israel's t-shirts.

"Let's get our shoes on and then we can go." Avi says as Israel and Tobias run upstairs to get their shoes.

Avi helps Abigail and Ezra get their shoes on while Kate fixes Wren's hair and puts her shoes on.

"Be good for Daddy! Have fun!" Kate says as she waves at the kids. "Bye Mama!" Tobias, Israel, Ezra and Abigail say in unison. "Bye bye!" Wren says as she waves.

"Kate, if you need anything, just call me okay? I love you." Avi says as he kisses Kate and Jasper.

"I love you too and I will. Have fun." Kate says as Avi laughs.

Avi picks up Wren and he and the kids walk to the car. Avi buckles in Wren, Ezra and Abigail. "Daddy! Can we listen to music?" Israel asks Avi.

"Of course! What kind of music do you guys wanna listen to?" Avi asks the kids as he buckles himself in.

"Pentatonix!" Israel, Ezra and Tobias say in unison. "Yeah!" Abigail says as she claps her hands.

Avi turns on Pentatonix's album as he drives the twenty minute drive to the grocery store.

"We are here, guys!" Avi says, parking the car. Tobias and Israel unbuckles themselves and climb out from the back seat.

Avi helps Abigail and Ezra out of their booster seats. Avi then picks up Wren out of her car seat.

"Hey Toby, can you get me that shopping cart right there?" Avi asks Tobias. "Yes, Daddy!" Tobias says as he runs over to get the shopping cart. Israel, Ezra and Abigail wanna follow Tobias.

"Israel, Ez, Abby, stay here with me." Avi says as Wren hugs Avi. Tobias rides the shopping cart over to the car.

Avi sets Wren in the shopping cart and buckles her up. Wren smiles at Avi as he fixes her hair.

"Stay together, guys. Hold onto the shopping cart." Avi says as Tobias, Israel, Ezra and Abigail hold onto the shopping cart as they walk into the grocery store.

"Pick out a fruit you want. One each." Avi says as Abigail, Ezra, Israel and Tobias looks at the fruit.

Abigail picks oranges, Ezra picks apples, Israel picks bananas and Tobias picks up strawberries.

Avi picks up salad, corn on the cob, kale, carrots, and some frozen vegetables like corn, peas and green beans.

"Abby, don't touch the display." Avi says as he picks up a bouquet of sun flowers for Kate. "Can we get these pretzels?" Israel asks Avi.

"Sure bud." Avi says as he grabs the pretzels. Israel and Ezra begin to wrestle around.

"Guys, don't do that." Avi says sternly. Abby smiles as she dances around.

Avi picks up a few pizzas for the kids a few other freezer items.

"Toby, can you get two things of milk, and Izzy, can you get two things of a dozen eggs." Avi says as Tobias and Israel grab the things they need to get.

Avi grabs four loafs of bread because the kids love bread.

"Daddy! Can we get this jelly?" Abigail says holding up a jar of strawberry jelly.

"Sure! Let's get a grape jelly too." Avi says grabbing a grape jelly and two jars of peanut butter. Avi then picks up a case of bottled water.

"I want this juice!" Ezra says, pointing to grape juice. "No! I want this juice!" Abigail says pointing to the apple juice.

"We are getting this because it is a pack of grape, apple and orange juice. Make everybody happy." Avi says.

Ezra and Israel smack each other, due to sibling rivalry. "Cut it out. I will put you on time out right in the middle of this store." Avi says sternly to Ezra and Israel.

Abby runs around the aisle. "Abigail, do not run." Avi says as Wren plays with his hair.

Avi and the kids have made it to the snack aisle. "Pick out some snacks guys." Avi says, while Tobias, Israel, Ezra, and Abby run as they grab their favorite snacks. Wren yawns.

"Sleepy girl. Come on guys, hold onto the cart." Avi says as Tobias, Israel, Ezra and Abigail hold onto the shopping cart.

Avi grabs a few things of meat and some lunch meat. "Let's get some fish for Mama, she loves Tilapia." Avi says, grabbing a pack of Tilapia.

"Do we have all the food we need, Daddy?" Ezra asks climbing on the end of the cart. "I think so, bud. If not, we can always go back out." Avi says.

The kids and Avi walk into the toothpaste aisle, Avi picking up a few tubes for the kids, Kate and himself. Avi also picks up some feminine products for Kate and toiletries for himself and Kate.

Avi picks up diapers for Wren and baby Jasper.

"I think we have everything guys. We are going to check out." Avi says.

Wren yawns again and rubs her eyes. "I know you are sleepy, Wren. It's okay." Avi says kissing Wren's cheek.

Avi and the kids find a check out line and wait patiently. The lady behind Avi smiles, seeing how well behaved the kids are.

"Your children are beautiful and very well behaved." The lady says, making Avi smile. "Thank you." Avi says with a huge grin.

Avi, Tobias, Israel, Ezra and Abigail out the groceries on the conveyor belt. Tobias and Israel help put the bags in the shopping cart and Avi pays.

"Let's go guys. Hold onto the cart while we cross the street." Avi says as Tobias, Ezra, Israel and Abigail hold onto the shopping cart.

All the kid get in their car seats, Avi buckles in Wren, Ezra and Abigail. Avi then puts the groceries in the car. Wren falls asleep and Avi climbs into the driver seat, then driving home.

Once at home, Avi, Tobias, Israel, Ezra and Abigail help bring in the groceries. Avi brings in a sleeping Wren because she fell asleep in the car. Kate lays Wren on the couch and then she begins to breastfeed Jasper.

Avi hands Kate the bouquet of flowers. Kate's face lights up. "Thank you for the flowers, babe. They are so pretty." Kate says as she kisses Avi happily.

"You're welcome. Next time I want you to come. Watching five kids alone is so hard. I don't know how you do it." Avi says with Kate chuckles. "It's a lot of work, isn't it?" Kate says and Avi nods.

Jasper, Wren, Abigail and Ezra take a nap while Israel, Tobias, Avi and Kate played board games! :)
