Today is Westley's ear tube surgery!

Today, Mark and Mason are going to take Westley to the hospital to get his ear tube surgery done.

Ever since Westley was a little baby, he has had a lot of ear infections and a lot of ear pain, which caused lots of sleepless nights for Westley, Mark and Mason.

Westley's pediatrician didn't want Westley getting ear tubes when he was a little baby because she didn't want a little baby going through a surgery unless it was really absolutely necessary.

So finally, Westley's pediatrician has decided that Westley should definitely get ear tubes placed in his ears to help him not get as many ear infections and to stop the fluid build up in Westley's ears.

So while Mark and Mason are at the hospital with Westley this morning, Mark's parents are at the house watching Brinley, Milo, Farryn, Oaklyn and Oliver for them!

Mark's parents want Mark and Mason to just focus on Westley and to make sure his ear tube surgery goes very well today.

Right now, Mark, Mason and Westley are currently on their way to the hospital for Westley's ear tube surgery which is going to start in about two hours!

Mark has been a nervous wreck since he woke up today while Mason has been cool as a cucumber. Mark is so glad that Mason is very calm so Mason can help Mark calm down.

Mark doesn't want Westley to nervous or upset about anything today. Mark just wants Westley to be super happy that his ears will finally feel better and not hurt!

Westley is a little nervous about going to the hospital and is a little scared about having a surgery in his ears but luckily, Mark's iPhone is keeping him very busy, entertained and happy for now!

Westley is only two and a half years old, so he doesn't understand why he needs surgery and he doesn't understand what surgery even means.

"Westley, are you excited for your ear surgery today, buddy?" Mason asks Westley playfully.

"No!" Westley says as he playfully sticks his tongue out, making Mark and Mason both chuckle and smile.

"I know you aren't ready, but it is going to be okay! It is going to be okay, I promise you! Your ears are going to feel so much better after your ear surgery today!" Mason explains to Westley.

"Reallwy, Daddy?" Westley says to Mason with a big cheeky grin.

"Mhm!" Mason says to Westley with a big grin.

"Woah!" Westley says with a cheeky smile.

"Your ears may hurt a little bit today but after today they shouldn't hurt anymore!" Mark says to Westley.

"Yay! I excited, Ina and Daddy!" Westley says to Mark and Mason happily.

"Yeah!" Mark says as he smiles at Westley and Westley smiles back at Mark.

"I'm glad you are excited bud! Ina and I are excited for you too!" Mason says to Westley happily.

"Yay!" Westley says to Mark and Mason once again making Mark and Mason smile.

After a twenty five minute drive to the hospital, Mark, Mason and Westley have made it to the hospital for Westley's ear tube surgery!

"Are you ready to go inside the hospital, bud?" Mark asks Westley as he playfully tickles Westley's feet and he giggles at Mark.

"Uh huh, Ina!" Westley says as he yawns, making Mark and Mason both smile.

"Sleepy boy!" Mark says as he kisses Westley's cheeks

"Okay, let's go! I'll carry you in, bud." Mason says to Westley, making Westley's face light up.

"Yay!" Westley says as he holds onto Mason's neck and Mason tenderly kisses Westley's cheek.

"Let's go in!" Mark says to Westley with a big grin.

"Yeah! Wet's go! Wet's go!" Westley says to Mark and Mason with excitement.

"Let's go! Woohoo!" Mason says as Mark and Westley both giggle.

Mason holds Westley in his arms and holds Mark's hand, while they all walk into the hospital together!

Mason, Mark and Westley walk over to the pediatric side of the hospital, getting on a few elevators, which makes Westley very happy and excited.

Mason and Mark then walk over to the receptionist desk to check Westley in for his surgery.

"Hello! Welcome to Memorial Hospital! What brings you three in here today?" The receptionist asks Mark and Mason.

"Hello! Our son is here today to get tubes put in both his ears today." Mason says to the receptionist.

"Okay! What is the child's name?" The receptionist asks Mark and Mason.

"Westley Mason Manio-Catt." Mark says the receptionist as he hands the receptionist Westley's insurance cards.

"Birthday?" The receptionist asks Mark and Mason.

"March 17th." Mark says to the receptionist as he fixes Westley's hair that Westley messed up.

"Aw! A St. Patrick's Day birthday! How fun is that!" The receptionist says, making Westley smile and giggle.

"Yeah, it is a pretty cool birthday." Mason says as he kisses Westley's cheek.

"Alrighty! Westley is all signed in! Good luck on his ear surgery today!" The receptionist says to Mark and Mason.

"Thank you so much!" Mark and Mason say in unison to the receptionist.

"You're welcome!" The receptionist says to Mark and Mason.

Mark, Mason and Westley get called back into a room a few minutes later and Westley gets ready for his ear tube surgery!

- 30 Minutes Later -
Westley has been taken into the operating room for his ear tube surgery a few minutes ago!

Mark and Mason are both sitting in the waiting room, waiting for Westley's surgery to be complete.

"You feel okay, Marky?" Mason asks Mark as he softly rubs circles into Mark's back.

"I feel okay. I am just getting nervous, that's all." Mark says softly to Mason.

"I know, it is going to be okay. Everything is going to be just fine. Wes is going to be okay and he is going to feel so much better after this surgery." Mason says as he tenderly kisses Mark.

Mark smiles at Mason and lays his head on Mason's shoulder.

"I love you, Mase." Mark says softly to Mason.

"I love you too, Marky." Mason says to Mark as he brings Mark into a hug.

Mark and Mason patiently wait for Westley's ear tube surgery to finish!

- 15 Minutes Later -
Westley's ear tube surgery is now complete! The nurses just wheeled Westley into his recovery room where he will be until he gets discharged.

Westley is now wide awake and he is a little crabby due to the anesthesia.

Mark and Mason both walk into Westley's recovery room and Westley's face lights up when he sees his Ina and Daddy!

"Look, Westley! There is your Ina and Daddy!" The nurse says happily to Westley.

"Ina! Daddy!" Westley says to Mark and Mason with a cheeky grin.

"Hi, buddy!" Mason says as he smiles and waves at Westley.

"Hi, baby boy!" Mark says as he kisses Westley's forehead and rubs his head.

"How are you, bud?" Mason asks Westley as he sits on one side of Westley's hospital bed and Mark sits on the other side.

"Sweepy." Westley says as he rubs his eyes and yawns.

"Yeah, you will feel sleepy for the rest of the day. It's okay." Mark says as he kisses Westley's cheek.

"You did awesome bud! Do you want a popsicle?" Mason asks Westley and Westley's face lights up.

"Uh huh! Uh huh!" Westley says with a big cheeky smile at Mason.

"Okay, I'll get you one!" Mason says to Westley happily.

"Yay!" Westley says as he cheers, making Mark smile ear to ear.

Westley, Mason and Mark all sit in the recovery room and wait for Westley to be able to go home!

After staying at the hospital for almost two hours, Westley finally gets to go home and rest!

"Hey, Wes!" Mark says to Westley as he holds Westley in his arms.

"Yeah, Ina?" Westley says to Mark as he yawns.

"Do you wanna go get some yummy and fluffy pancakes at iHOP?" Mark asks Westley as Westley gasps happily.

"YES!" Westley says with a big cheeky smile at Mark and Mason.

Mark and Mason then smile at each other and giggle.

"Let's go get some pancakes then! You deserve them, bud!" Mason says to Westley

"YAY!" Westley says with a big cheeky smile.

Westley, Mark and Mason all go to iHOP to enjoy some pancakes together before going back home! Westley is feeling a lot better after his ear tube surgery! :)

Mark posts a picture of Westley laying in his hospital bed and he is smiling at Mark. Westley is wearing a small blue hospital gown and has a popsicle.
