Today is the very BIG and SPECIAL day!

Today, Isla and Cora are both officially going to be adopted by Beau and Gage after being their foster children for five months!

After being in the foster care system since ever they were nine months old, Isla and Cora will finally have a forever family and will not have to move to another house ever again!

Isla and Cora will have four new siblings! Two older brothers Benson and Owen, a baby sister Aria and a baby brother Nolan!

Isla and Cora will also have two cats Micah and Nyla and of course a Daddy Beau and a Papa Gage!

Due to the pandemic still being around and slightly getting bad again, the courts are still sadly still closed for everyone.

However, the courts are still open but they can't go inside to do the meetings so the court has been doing Zoom meetings for some court hearings including adoption hearings!

So that is how Isla and Cora's adoption finalization ceremony will happen this morning!

Right now, Beau and Gage are on a Zoom meeting call with their adoption lawyer Ms. Davis, right before their 11am adoption finalization court hearing with Judge King!

The lawyer is just making sure everything is set in stone and perfect for Beau, Gage and the girls.

Currently, Nolan is sitting on Beau's lap while Aria is sitting next to Gage on the couch and they are cuddling.

While Beau and Gage talk to Ms. Davis, Cora, Isla, Benson and Owen are all playing with the LEGOs set together on the living floor with Nyla and Micah the cats next to them!

"Wook at my tower!" Isla says to Cora proudly.

"Oooo! Wook at mine!" Cora says to Isla as she giggles.

"Coooool!" Benson says with a big grin at Isla and Cora.

"I making a car!" Owen says proudly.

"Woah!" Isla, Cora and Benson all say to Owen!

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Nolan says as he plays with his baby toy making Beau, Gage and Ms. Davis all laugh loudly.

"Are you having fun, Nol Nol? Is that toy so so fun?" Beau asks Nolan in a babyfied voice and Nolan babbles with a big smile on his face.

"Hiiii!" Aria says as she waves at Ms. Davis who is on the laptop screen with a big smile on her face!

"Hello, Aria!" Ms. Davis says with a cheeky smile.

"The kids are very excited about today! They have been excited all day!" Beau says with a proud smile on his face.

"That is so awesome! Are Cora and Isla excited too?" Ms. Davis asks Beau and Gage curiously.

"Yes, they sure are! But they don't understand what being adopted means! They do know that Beau and I are their parents and that they aren't leaving our house." Gage says to Ms. Davis.

"Aww! Well they are only two, so that is normal for them to not understand. However, I will send you guys some incredible books to read to the girls and to the other kids to help them understand better!" Ms. Davis says to Gage and Beau.

"Thank you so much!" Beau says with a big grin.

"Thank you!" Gage says with a grin.

"You're welcome! I'll see you guys in a little bit!" Ms. Davis as as she waves at Gage, Aria, Nolan and Beau.

"See you then!" Gage says happily.

"See you then!" Beau also says happily.

Beau and Gage then make sure themselves, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan are all dressed and all ready for the special day!

- An Hour Later -

It is now time for the adoption Zoom call with the adoption court judge!

Beau, Gage, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan are all very excited!

Right now, Benson, Aria, Owen are all sitting on the floor while Beau, Cora, Isla, Gage and Nolan are sitting on the couch.

Nolan is sitting on Gage's lap while Cora and Isla are sitting in between Beau and Gage.

"Can everybody see the laptop screen okay?" Beau asks Benson, Owen, Isla and Cora.

"Yes!" Benson, Owen, Isla and Cora all say in unison with lots of excitement.

"I do! I do!" Aria says as she claps her hands.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Nolan says as he giggles loudly.

"Ms. Davis will be on the screen right here and then the judge will be right over here!" Beau explains to the kids and they all smile at their Daddy.

"Can I film this?" Gage asks Beau curiously.

"Yes! Film it for our family since they couldn't be here for this special day!" Beau says with a humungous grin.

"Are we allowed to film it?" Gage asks Beau.

"Yes! I asked and made 100% sure!" Beau says with sass making Gage laugh loudly.

Gage smiles with excitement as he begins to set up a small camera behind them to film the whole adoption!

Ten minutes later, the adoption zoom meeting begins!

First, the judge begins to talk with Ms. Davis for a few minutes about all of the paper work and making sure everybody is perfect to officially finalize the adoption!

After a few minutes, the judge begins to talk and ask Beau and Gage a few questions making sure the adoption is just right and it is!

Once the judge is finished talking to Beau and Gage it is now time to tell the girls that they are officially adopted!

The judge first points at Isla and Isla smiles and happily waves at the judge.

"Say hello to the judge, Isla bear! It's okay!" Gage says as he kisses Isla's cheek and she giggles.

"Hiiiii!" Isla says becoming less shy to the judge.

"Hello, Isla! I have something to tell you!" The judge says, making Isla smile.

"What's dat?" Isla asks the judge curiously.

"As of today, you are officially Isla Rey Sloane-Robinson!" The judge says, making Isla giggle and clap her hands.

Beau and Gage both kiss and smile at Isla.

"YAY!" Beau and Gage both say in unison as they hug and kiss Isla.

The judge then points at Cora and Cora smiles and happily waves at the judge.

"HIIIIII!" Cora says loud and proudly to the judge making Beau and Gage both chuckle.

"Hello, Cora! I have something to tell you as well!" The judge says making Cora smile ear to ear.

"What dat? What dat?" Cora asks the judge curiously.

"You are officially Cora Ivy Sloane-Robinson!" The judge says making Cora cheer and claps her hands.

Beau and Gage both kiss and smile at Cora.

"YAY!" Beau and Gage both say in unison as they hug and kiss Cora.

"Congratulations on the adoptions of your twin girls, Isla Rey and Cora Ivy!" The judge says proudly to Beau and Gage making the both of them tear up.

"Thank you!" Beau and Gage both say in unison to the judge.

Beau, Gage, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan all smile and wave at the judge and the judge waves back!

The judge finishes up last minute paperwork and the Zoom meeting is over! Isla and Cora are officially Sloane-Robinsons!

For the rest of the day, Beau, Gage, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria, Nolan and the pets Nyla and Micah all hang out and celebrate Isla and Cora's adoption! :)
