Today is a special day in the Sloane family!

Today, Beau's dad Michael is getting some awards for serving in the army for many years!

Beau has always been extremely proud of his dad's work and his service to his country!

Gage is also proud of his father-in-law, his family is an army family as well with both his father and grandfather being in the army as well. Gage's dad recently retired from the army.

Beau, Gage, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan are flying from California to Maryland to be there for the ceremony which will be at The Aberdeen Proving Ground!

Right now, Gage is driving to the The Aberdeen Proving Ground while Beau is trying to keep the six Sloane-Robinson kids occupied and happy.

Nolan is taking a much needed nap while Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria are coloring in their coloring books.

"Who is excited to see Poppy win some awards?" Beau asks the kids happily.

"MEEEEEEEE!" Cora and Isla both say in unison with big cheeky smiles. 

"I am! I am!" Owen says with excitement.

"I excited!" Benson says as he giggles and smiles.

"Yay! Excited for Poppy!" Aria says as she giggles loudly.

"Poppy has been in the Army for a long time! So that means he is high up in the Army!" Gage says as the four older kids ooo and ahh while Aria gets distracted playing with her shoes.

"We are so proud of Poppy, aren't we?" Beau asks Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria with a smile.

"YES!" Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria all say in unison with cheeky grins.

After an almost hour drive, Gage, Beau, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan have made it to The Aberdeen Proving Ground!

Gage, Beau, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan all get out of the car and the walk over to The Aberdeen Proving Ground where they see Debbie and Michael waiting for them outside!

"Look guys! There is Mom Mom and Poppy!" Gage says to the kids, causing their faces to light up happily.

"MOM MOM! POPPY!" Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria all yell loudly as they all run over to Debbie and Michael.

"Hi, babies! Come here! Come here!" Debbie says happily at Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria.

"Hey! Thank you guys for coming! It means so much to me!" Michael says as he kisses and hugs Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora and Aria one by one.

"Hello! Congratulations, Mr. Michael! Hello, Ms. Debbie!" Gage says as he hugs Michael and Debbie.

"Thank you very much, Gage!" Michael says with a big grin.

"Thank you so much for being here! It means a lot!" Debbie says at her son-in-law.

"We wouldn't miss this! This is a big event for Dad and I couldn't miss it." Beau says as he hugs Debbie.

"Aww, baby boy is sleeping. He is so so sweet." Debbie says as she rubs Nolan's head and kisses him.

"Thank you for being here, son!" Michael says hugging Beau and then kisses Nolan.

"Let's all go inside! The award ceremony will be starting soon!" Debbie says happily to Beau, Gage, Benson, Owen, Isla, Cora, Aria and Nolan!
