Today is December 11th, which will be Kai and Taytum Kirk's birthday!

Today, Jake and Alex will happily welcome their first set of twins, Kai Jacob and Taytum Carrie Kirk into the world!

Currently, Jake is thirty eight and a half weeks pregnant with the twins and it is now time for them to be born!

Right now, it is 5:45am and Jake and Alex are heading to the hospital to get admitted and get ready for the scheduled c-section later in the morning!

Jake's aunt Alisa and her husband Kevin are both at the Kirk house watching Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery, Ruby and the pets Lucky, Gaga, Swifty, Kacey and Underwood while Jake and Alex will be at the hospital for a few days!

Alex is currently driving to the hospital while Jake is in the passenger seat and he is holding Alex's hand.

"How did you sleep last night, Jakey?" Alex asks Jake softly.

"I slept pretty decently to be honest! How about you?" Jake asks Alex with a smile.

"I was up and down all night! I am so excited and anxious at the same time!" Alex says making Jake awe.

"That is so freaking cute!" Jake says as he holds Alex's hand and kisses it.

Alex then begins to softly rub Jake's baby bump, feeling Taytum's feet and Kai's fists.

"These two are probably hitting each other right now!" Alex says as he laughs loudly.

"You know they will love each other!" Jake says with a big grin.

"Taytum will be the clinging sis I bet!" Alex says and Jake nods in agreement.

"Oh probably!" Jake says as he giggles and so does Alex.

Twenty five minutes later, Jake and Alex have finally arrived at the hospital!

Alex parks the car in a special "Mommy and Baby" parking spot, which is designated for pregnant patients to park in. Jake rolls his eyes and Alex chuckles loudly at him.

"It is Daddy and BABIES today!" Jake says with some sass, making Alex giggle and smile.

"This sign is very biased and sexist! Carrier men need a sign like this too!" Alex says and Jake nods in agreement.

"It really is biased and sexist! I freaking hate it." Jake says with some sass, making Alex giggle.

"You are so freaking cute. I love you, Jakey." Alex says softly to Jake and kisses him.

"I love you too, Allie!" Jake says with a cheeky smile as he kisses Alex again.

Alex and Jake then both get out of the car! Alex gets out of the car first and then he helps Jake out of car.

Jake hugs Alex tightly and Alex hugs Jake back.

"I feel like a huge elephant!" Jake says as he rubs his baby bump, feeling both babies kick and move around.

"You are the most precious elephant, babe." Alex says playfully, making Jake laugh and smile.

"You are so freaking cute, babe." Jake says to Alex and Alex smiles.

Alex then picks up all of their bags from the trunk so Jake doesn't have to do any heavy lifting.

"Jeez, Jakey! What did you put in these bags?" Alex asks playfully, making Jake laugh and smile.

"I have over packed!" Jake says as he laughs again.

Once Alex grabs all of the bags and Jake grabs his and Alex's drink, they both happily walk into the hospital together!

"Wow, it smells like bleach in here!" Alex says as he follows behind Jake.

"That's a bette smell then hospital funk!" Jake says making Alex laugh.

"True! Usually hospitals smell so bad!" Alex says with a grin.

Once in the hospital, Jake gets admitted into the Mother Baby Ward and he gets settled into his hospital room to patiently wait for his scheduled c-section which will start around eight am!

Jake and Alex both talk, take pictures and videos and just hang out in their hospital room while they patiently wait for it to be baby time!

For a little while, Jake took a small cat nap while Alex did some work on his laptop!

After two and half hours, it is finally TWIN time!

Alex wasn't able to to go into the operating room right away! He had to wait until Jake was prepped and settled in!

Once Jake was prepped, settled and ready for the c-section, Alex was able to walk into the operating room and be right by Jake's side!

After about twenty minute of waiting for everyone else to arrive, it is time to start the c-section!

Alex softly rubs Jake's longer hair out of his eyes making Jake smile.

"I love you, Allie." Jake says in a whisper as he does a kissy face at Alex.

Alex smiles and bends down, giving Jake a tender kiss.

"I love you too, Jakey. I love you so much." Alex says with a big grin under his mask.

"Are you ready to meet our new prince and princess?" Jake asks Alex with a smile.

"I am very ready! I can't wait to see what color hair they have." Alex says getting a little giddy.

"Me too. Hopefully we get one of each! One blonde and one brunette." Jake says playfully, making Alex smile.

"That means more of our kids would have brown hair!" Alex says playfully back at Jake.

"True, but all of the kids basically look like you! Kirk genes are sooo strong." Jake says making Alex smile and Jake's comment is right.

Scarlett, Levi and Avery all look just like Alex while Aurora and Ruby look like Jake.

"I'll take pictures and send them to your phone so you have them too, okay?" Alex says and Jake nods.

"Okay! Thank you, love." Jake says with a smile.

After fifteen minutes of anxiously waiting, the twins are both born! Both babies are happy and very healthy!

Kai Jacob Kirk was born on December 11th at 8:02am, weighing 5lbs 12oz and is 18 inches long!

Taytum Carrie Kirk was born on December 11th at 8:05am, weighing 5lbs 10oz and is 18 inches long!

After an hour of being in the operating room, Jake's c-section is all finished!

Once the c-section is finished, Jake, Alex, Kai and Taytum all head to the recovery room where they will stay for a few hours to rest and to be monitored.

Kai is laying on Jake's bare chest while Alex is holding Taytum on his bare chest. Both babies are both peacefully asleep after eating their first ever bottles for the first time!

"You did it, Jakey! You had twins!" Alex says proudly as he walks around holding Taytum on his chest.

"I still can't believe I had twins. They are so freaking perfect." Jake says with a tired smile.

"They sure are! And we got our blondie and brunette!" Alex says with a giggle.

Kai has brown hair and looks like Jake while Taytum has blonde hair and looks like Alex.

"Let's have more!" Alex says playfully as he laughs at Jake.

"Maybe one more in the future to make it even. But seven is a lucky number." Jake says with a grin.

Alex then kisses Jake and Jake kisses him back.

"I love you and our babies sooooo much." Alex says to Jake.

"I love you and the babies too. Always." Jake says with a grin and Alex smiles back.

For the rest of the day, Jake and Alex happily cuddle, bond, hold and take care of their new babies - Kai and Taytum!

Jake and Alex only just found out a few weeks ago that Taytum was even coming so they want to make sure they bond with both babies and to form great starting relationships with them! ❤️

Jake and Alex are very thrilled and happy to have welcomed their first set of twins into the world!

Three days later, Jake and Alex happily bring Taytum Carrie and Kai Jacob home! :)
