Today is a regular Friday at the Kirk's!

An hour ago, Scarlett and Aurora both got off of the school bus while Levi and Avery were picked up at the preschool by Alex at 12:30!

Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery all had a great last day of the school week and all of them are sooo happy that it is now the weekend!

This weekend, Alex and Jake are going to take Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery and Ruby to the pumpkin patch and then to pick apples at the apple orchard, which is making all five of the Kirk kiddos very excited and happy!

Also today, Jake and Alex found out something they weren't expecting at all, causing the both of them to be extremely shocked, scared and also now excited!

Today, Jake and Alex just thought it would be a routine baby visit to check on Baby Kai but it turned out to be a much longer appointment because today Jake and Alex found out they are having TWINS!

Yes, Jake and Alex literally just found out they are having twins today!

Baby B was hiding behind Kai this whole entire time and is now not hiding anymore so the doctor can finally see the baby now!

Jake's OBGYN did A LOT of ultrasounds and a BUNCH of testing today on Baby B and Baby B is happy, healthy and is a little girl!

That will give Jake and Alex four daughters and three sons! Jake and Alex are so thankful and blessed to have seven healthy children!

Jake and Alex now both cannot wait to welcome baby Kai Jacob and now their baby girl in mid December!

Jake and Alex have already figured out baby girl's name and it honors both of their favorite singers Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood!

Jake and Alex have both decided to name their fourth daughter Taytum Carrie Kirk. Taytum is spelled the way it is to honor Taylor Swift (Tay) and Carrie is after Carrie Underwood.

Right now, Alex is sitting on the floor with Ruby while Ruby happily plays with her baby toys! Jake is resting on the couch with Lucky the dog by his feet.

The cats - Swifty, Kacey, Gaga, Underwood are all hanging out in their cat tower, playing with their cat toys!

Levi and Avery are both playing with their new train set that Alex's parents bought for them as an early birthday present for the both of them while Scarlett and Aurora are both playing with the dollhouse Jess just got for them a few weeks ago!

"Ba ba ba! Ba ba ba!" Ruby says as she shakes her favorite blue rattle loudly, making Jake and Alex both smile at her proudly.

Ruby then happily smiles up at Jake and Alex showing her four baby teeth she has now!

"Look at those pretty white teethies you have, Rub!" Alex says in a babyfied voice at Ruby and Ruby babbles at him making Alex laugh.

"Hi, Ruby! You are so cute! Yes, you are! Yes, you are!" Jake says in a babyfied voice as he films Ruby and Ruby happily bounces up and down on her butt on the floor, making Alex and Jake both giggle at her again.

"Hi, baby! Hi, big sissy! Are you excited to tell Scar, Rory, Lev and Avy about having a baby brother and a baby sister coming soon?" Alex asks Ruby in a babyfied voice, making Ruby smile ear to ear.

"Pa pa pa pa!" Ruby says as she claps her hands and giggles at Alex, making Alex giggle back at her.

Alex then carefully tickles Ruby's tummy, making Ruby laugh and smile ear to ear at him! Jake happily films an Instagram video of Alex and Ruby together.

Once Alex is finished tickling Ruby, Alex sits Ruby in his lap and he kisses her cheek softly.

"Say Daddy, Rubs! Say Daddy now!" Jake says in a babyfied voice at Ruby as she smiles at him.

"Da da da da!" Ruby says as she smiles at Jake.

"Good girl, Rub! Good girl! You are talking so so much now!" Jake says in a babyfied voice at Ruby.

"You are such a big girl now too!" Alex says to Ruby as he kisses Ruby again and Ruby smiles.

"You are almost walking too! Yay!" Jake says as he cheers at Ruby and Ruby smiles at Jake again.

"Let's see if you can walk to Daddy, baby girl!" Alex says as he stands Ruby up and after a few seconds of standing Ruby falls down on her butt.

"Her legs are getting stronger! Yay!" Alex says proudly and Jake gets very excited.

"Oh my gosh, yes! She will be walking before her first birthday I think!" Jake says to Ruby and Alex.

"Oh, for sure!" Alex says happily to Jake and he let's Ruby jump in his lap.

Jake smiles ear to ear at Alex and Ruby sitting together on the floor and he rubs his baby bump proudly.

"I just can't believe we are having twins, Allie. It is like I am so shocked and so excited and at the same time I am freaking terrified and worried." Jake says softly to Alex and Alex smiles at Jake and holds his hand to calm him down.

"I am so excited and terrified as well, Jakey. But we got this, babe! I don't want you worrying! I want you to rest as much as you can. We really need to make sure that Kai and Taytum stay in there until their scheduled c-section." Alex says and Jake nods in agreement.

"Yesh, we need to make sure they put until December at least!" Jake says playfully making Alex laugh.

"Good thing we didn't work on the nursery yet! We still have twelve weeks until everything needs to be done. I think that is enough time, babe. I'll just be a busy man! What you need to do is not stress out, rest when you can, buy baby girl some cute outfits and matching twin outfits!" Alex says making Jake chuckle and smile.

"You know I love freaking shopping!" Jake says playfully to Alex with a big cheeky smile.

"You are a shopping expert! Get Tay some girly outfits!" Alex says as he stands up and sits Ruby next to Jake on the couch.

"Oh I will! But we have all of Ruby's clothes too!" Jake says as Alex nods and chuckles at Ruby.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Ruby says as she hugs Lucky and Lucky licks Ruby's cheek.

"Be careful with Lucky, Rub!" Jake says to Ruby and Ruby giggles.

Alex tenderly rubs Jake's baby bump and then kisses Jake a few times.

"I love you so much, Jakey." Alex says softly to Jake, making Jake's cheek blush a bright pink.

"I love you too, Allie. I love you too." Jake says softly to Alex.

"Wanna tell the kids now?" Alex asks Jake and Jake happily nods.

"Let's do it!" Jake says with a big grin.

"Yaaaa!" Ruby says as she claps her hands making Jake and Alex both giggle and smile.

"Scarlett! Aurora! Levi! Avery! Come here, please! Daddy and I have something to tell you guys!" Alex says to the four older kids.

Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery all cheer as they all run into living room and they all sit on the floor.

"So Papa and I went to the doctor today to see how Kai is in my belly!" Jake says to Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery while Ruby sits on Alex's lap.

"How is Kai?" Scarlett asks with a big cheeky smile.

"Yeah! How is Kai?" Aurora asks Jake with a big smile.

"Kai is doing really good! He is growing so big and looks really cute!" Jake says to Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery

"He looks just like Daddy too!" Alex says to Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery making all of them awe.

"But Papa and I found something else today! And it is very exciting." Jake says with a big grin.

"What's that?" Levi asks happily.

"Yeah! Yeah!" Avery says with lots of excitement.

"YES, WHAT IS IT!" Scarlett and Aurora both say in unison with big smile.

Jake then looks at Alex and smiles at him and Alex smiles back.

"Well, when the doctor did the ultrasound and Kai has a twin that was playing hide and seek behind him! Daddy is pregnant with two babies, which is twins!" Alex says as Scarlett and Aurora both gasp in tons of excitement.

"Two babies?" Levi asks both Jake and Alex.

"Yes, two babies!" Jake says happily to Levi.

"YAY!" Levi and Avery both say in unison with excitement.

"That's so cool!" Levi then says with a big grin.

"I AM SO EXCITED!" Scarlett screams happily.

"ME TOOOOO!" Aurora says happily.

"The baby is a little girl! So you guys will be getting a big brother and a big sister in December!" Jake says as he rubs his baby bump.

"A BABY SISSY!" Avery says as he giggles.

"And a baby brother! Yay!" Levi says as he giggles and smiles.

"AWWWWW!" Scarlett and Aurora both say in unison.

"What's sissys name?" Avery asks Jake and Alex.

"So baby brother's name is Kai Jacob and you guys already know that." Alex says making Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery all laugh.

"And baby sister's name is Taytum Carrie! Carrie is after Carrie Underwood and Taytum is inspired for Taylor Swift!" Jake says to Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery

"AWWWW!" Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery all say in unison with big cheeky smiles.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Ruby says happily.

"So Kai and Taytum will be coming soon! Will you guys help Papa get their nursery done and other things?" Jake asks Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery.

"YES!" Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery all say in unison with big smile.

"Awesome!" Alex says happily to Scarlett, Aurora, Levi and Avery.

Jake then hands ultrasound pictures for Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery and Ruby to see and all five of them are very excited!

The rest of the Friday night, Alex, Jake, Scarlett, Aurora, Levi, Avery, Ruby, Swifty, Kacey, Gaga, Underwood and Lucky all hung out as a family!

The whole Kirk family cannot wait to meet Kai and Taytum in a few weeks! :)
