Alex looks into the full length mirror that hung on the back of his bedroom door as he buttoned up his blue dress shirt.

Once he finishes the task, he runs his fingers through his bright blonde hair that was neatly quiffed on the top of his head.

Alex sighs nervously and buttons up his sleeves and rolls them up a bit to look more casual and also, so he wouldn't sweat to death, due to his nerves.

Alex looks down at his Apple watch and realizes he may be late for his first ever Valentine's Day date.

"Shit.." Alex says to himself in a rushed whisper as he slips on his dress shoes, grabbed his coat and slid his iPhone and wallet into his back pocket.

Alex looks around to make sure everything is safe in his house before grabbing his car keys and he was out the door.

Right now, Alex is on the way to his new boyfriend Jake's house to pick him up for a Valentine's Day date.

Alex has also just stopped at the local grocery store new Jake's house to pick up a bouquet of flowers that he thought to be Jake's favorite kind of flowers, although he couldn't for the life of him remember for sure.

Fifteen minutes later, Alex pulls up to Jake's house right on time and with a huge sigh of relief. Alex jumps out of his car and makes his way to the front door and knocks a few times.

A few seconds later, Jake happily opens the front door and smiles ear to ear at his boyfriend Alex. Jake can't believe that he has a boyfriend and a Valentine this year!

Jake and Alex have only dated for a few months and they both really like each other!

"Allie!" Jake says as he smiles big at Alex.

"Hey, Jakey!" Alex says with some nervousness in his voice.

Jake then sees Alex holding a bouquet of his favorite flowers and awes at them loudly.

"Flowers? Aww! Thank you, Allie! I LOVE them so so so so so much!" Jake says with a big cheeky smile at Alex.

Alex smiles in relief for the second time in just a few minutes.

"Hey, Jakey! Yeah, I remembered you saying something about them before. And, I figured I'd be a gentleman and get them for you for Valentine's Day." Alex says as he carefully hands the bouquet of flowers to Jake and Jake happily sniffs them.

"Aw, you are so sweet, Allie! And you look very handsome tonight!" Jake says as he playfully pinches Alex's cheek and smiles at him.

Alex smiles back at Jake and they both giggle at each other.

"Let me put the flowers in a vase before we can go!" Jake says with a big cheeky smile.

"Absolutely!" Alex says with a cheeky smile, before following Jake inside Jake's small house.

As they both walk into Jake's kitchen to find a home for Jake's new bouquet of flowers, Alex took time to appreciate how Jake had dressed for the very romantic holiday.

Alex smiles once he sees Jake's entire Valentine's Day outfit which was a black dress shirt and gray dress pants.

"You look really.. fantastic tonight, Jakey." Alex commented at Jake, making Jake's cheeks blush a dark red at Alex's comment and Jake smiles back at him.

"Thank you! And so do you, Allie!" Jake says to Alex with a cheeky grin.

Jake puts the bouquet of flowers into his favorite blue vase and waters them.

"Mmm, these flowers smell so fresh and they are so beautiful. I love them so much, Allie. Thank you." Jake says to Alex as he hugs Alex tightly.

Alex smiles and hugs Jake back, loving the smell of his boyfriend or his cologne.

"You smell good too." Alex comments at Jake, laughing in embarrassment as he let's Jake out of his embrace.

"Aww! So do you, Allie!" Jake says a he giggles and smiles at Alex.

"Are you ready to go? I am ready whenever you are, handsome." Jake says as he smiles and blushes at Alex, making Alex smile back.

"You are literally the cutest thing I think I have ever seen, Jakey." Alex says, staring at Jake a moment too long.

Alex then shakes himself out of it and holds  his hand out to Jake to escort him to his car.

Alex and Jake happily hold each other hands as they walk to Alex's car.

Jake giggles and blushes at Alex's nervousness, thinking it is so precious.

"You are so cute when you are nervous." Jake says as he smiles at Alex.

Alex opens up the passenger door to let Jake get inside the car.

"Thank you, Allie! You are such a sweet gentlemen." Jake says with a smile on his face as he sits down into the car.

"Yeah well, I just don't want to do anything wrong during our date." Alex says as he shuts Jake's door and goes around the car, getting into the drivers seat before starting the car up.

"Aww. You are perfect just the way you are, Allie. You don't need to act a certain way." Jake says as he softly rubs Alex's face.

Alex leans into Jake's touch slightly.

"Thank you, love. I just gotta be the best for you. Especially today." Alex says to Jake, determined for this romantic holiday to be perfect for the two of them for whatever reason.

Jake then softly kisses Alex twice and tenderly rubs his cheeks.

"You are always the best, Allie." Jake says to Alex.

Alex smiles at the reassurance from Jake as he looks over at him. 

"You really think so, Jakey? I just want you to be happy and satisfied with our dates and me." Alex says to Jake.

"Of course, Allie! You are literally so perfect and you make me feel very special." Jake says as he blushes and smiles at Alex.

Alex smiles and takes Jake's hand in his own as he drove, bringing Jake's hand up to kiss it gently.

"That makes me so happy, baby." Alex says, letting the nickname slip up for the very first time.

Jake blushes and smiles at the nickname baby that Alex just gave him for the first time.

"You make me very happy, Allie. And I hope I make you happy me too." Jake says to Alex.

Alex nods quickly at Jake's statement.

"You make me so damn happy, Jakey. You make every day of my life better. I am so glad to have you in my life." Alex says, hoping to get the smallest point across that Jake meant more than a lot to him.

Jake awes loudly as he kisses Alex's hand.

"I-I-I love you, Alex." Jake says with lots of nervousness.

The love word hasn't been said yet in their relationship!

Alex smiles brightly as his heart is filled with lots of glee and happiness.

"I love you too, Jakey." Alex says as all of his uncertainty was dropped immediately.

After a ten minute drive, Alex and Jake have made it to the restaurant for their Valentine's Day dinner!

Alex parks the car into the parking lot of the restaurant that he and Jake had both chosen for dinner before hand.

Alex then turns in his seat to kiss Jake lovingly. Jake giggles as he tenderly kisses Alex back.

"Your hair cut looks so good, Alex!" Jake says as he rubs Alex's head, making Alex laugh.

"Thank you!" Alex says as he gets out of the car and opens up Jake's car door for him, after he walks around the car.

"Mmm, that food smells really really good already! I can't wait to eat!" Jake says happily to Alex.

"I know right, me too!" Alex says with a big grin.

Jake and Alex hold each other's hands while they walk into the restaurant together!

After a few minutes, Jake and Alex are seated at a candle lit table at the restaurant together.

"This table is so perfect and romantic, Allie!" Jake says as he smiles at Alex.

"I know, I love Valentine's day so much." Alex says, looking at the table more with some interest.

"Me too! Valentine's Day is so much fun with a cute date this year." Jake says to Alex and Alex nods at Jake.

"This is pretty cute." Alex says to Jake with a smile.

"You are cuter though." Alex says with a winky face at Jake.

"Aww, you are cuter, Allie." Jake says as he giggles at Alex and smiles at him.

Alex giggles and smiles at Jake.

"Noo, you are." Alex says to Jake with a giggle as Jake giggles back at Alex.

"What are you going to get to eat?" Jake asks Alex.

"I am not sure, yet, love. What about you?" Alex asks Jake softly.

"I think I might get some baked ziti." Jake says as he sips on his water.

"Ooh, that sounds good, Jakey." Alex says as he looks at the restaurant menu some more.

Jake rubs Alex's empty hand and smiles at him.

"You have the softest hands ever, Allie." Jake says as he giggles at Alex and Alex giggles at Jake as well.

"Well, thank you. I use lotion a lot after a shower because dry skin runs in my family." Alex explains to Jake.

Jake giggles and smiles ear to ear at Alex.

"You are just so perfect. I got so lucky with you." Jake says as he blushes at Alex and Alex smiles back at his boyfriend.

"I definitely got luckier, baby. You are so amazing." Alex says to Jake.

Jake then smiles and softly kisses Alex's hand.

"You are so sweet, love. Are you doing okay?" Alex asks Jake, just to make sure.

"I am doing great, love. Are you doing okay?" Jake asks Alex as he smiles at him

Alex nods, looking down at their hands that still held each other.

"I'm perfect, baby." Alex said with a wide smile

"You are perfect." Jake says to Alex.

Both Alex and Jake order their food and continue to talk with each other while they wait

For the next two hours, Jake and Alex eat their dinner and they continue to eat their dinner together!

After dinner, Jake and Alex are taking a nice walk together around a park which is next to the restaurant they had dinner at!

"That dinner was so delicious, Allie! Thank you so much! I really enjoyed it!" Jake says to Alex with a big cheeky smile.

Alex smiles as he looks over at his boyfriend.

"You are welcome, love. I am glad you liked it. I really liked it too, it was delicious!" Alex says to Jake.

Jake smiles at Alex and holds Alex's hand tightly.

"It is so beautiful out here tonight. The weather is perfect." Jake says softly to Alex.

"It sure is, just like you are, Jakey." Alex says as he kisses Jake's cheek.

"Aww you are beautiful too, Allie!" Jake says to Alex.

Jake then kisses Alex's cheek, making Alex smile at him.

"You are the best thing to have ever happen to me, Jakey." Alex says to Jake making Jake blush and smile.

"And you are the best thing to happen to me too, Allie!" Jake says as he and Alex kiss each other twice.

After walking around the park for a while, Alex and Jake get one Alex's car and Alex drives Jake back home.

Jake and Alex both have a wonderful first Valentine's Day together as a couple! :)
