"What have you done?" My father bellows. All eye turned to me as he stood over the lifeless body. The bloody knife shook in my hand, blood was splattered on me and on the pretty white walls like a canvas. What have I done..?

                            One year ago

I walked down the long hallway, the silence swallowing me whole. The smell of fresh grass filled the air. My black hoodie hugged my body perfectly. I held my sketch book in my hand, looking down at my phone to check the time '2:59'  it read. I shove it back into my pocket. The bell should ring any moment. I thought.
I continued to walk down the hallway, it felt like miles. RINGGGG. The bell rung. The classroom doors flung open as the once empty hallway was filled up in a matter of seconds.

"Liam!" Someone yells from behind me, I turn around to meet eyes with my best-friend, Kody. We've been best-friends for about 10 years now. He knows almost everything about me. Once in 8th grade he found out I was gay and is the only one who knows still to this day. We've been through so much. We met in second grade, after I moved here. Nobody talked to me but his football head decided it would be nice to come and bother my lonely ass.
  
He runs up to me, sliding his arm around my neck.
"Heyyyyy" I say giving him a big boxy smile. He smiles back.
"Noah said he would meet us at the school gate, he skipped last class" Kody exclaimed. So that's why I didn't see him in 7th period.
"Okay" We make out way out of the school to the front gate. There he stood, Noah. Noah became our friend around 3 years ago. In freshman year. He walked around alone and was shorter than me and kody. We took him in and showed him around and has basically been stuck up our asses since. He is now taller than me and kody.

"Wanna walk home today?" Noah suggested. I rarely walk home with them. But school was ending soon and none of us were going to the same school. I had gotten accepted to a high class college that only took the top student of the school. Thanks to my smart genes I was able to get accepted. On the other hand my dumbass friends got accepted in community collages in different states.

"Sure" I say. I like walking alone because it's so peaceful and I can listen to my music without someone interrupting me just to talk about something that happened years ago. We get to walking,
"BROO remember that time when we went fishing and I caught fish!?" Kody yells out.
"Kody"
"Yes?"
"You caught a minnow"
"Don't expose me!" Kody whines
What a lame ass. I laugh to myself. 
"C'mon guys I know a short cut" Noah says, cutting through a dark long ally. It swallowed darkened whole. The only keeping it light enough to see what a small pole light that was flickering and looked like it was about to blow.
I don't have a good feeling about this.
"How about we go back and go the other route?" I try and say,
"Dude we're fine, we're almost there look-"
as he finished three men in black masks jump out of nowhere. They grab Noah. Noah looked at  me with desperate eyes before his throat was slit. His lifeless body slid to the ground as his red blood leaked down his pale neck.
"NOAH!" Me and Kody yell. One of the men grab Kody next,
"NO!" I yell trying to fight off the attackers. One grabs my hair yanking me back,
"Please! I'll do anything please don't hurt him!" I cry
"Liam-" Kody was slammed against the brick wall, snapping his nose. Blood gushed down his face.
"Anything you say?" The man asks in a seductive way. I could feel a lump in my throat.
I nod trying to play along.
The last man grabs me and pulls me down, holding me down forcing me to stay.

"What a pretty body's you have here" He says pulling up my shirt, touching my stomach. His cold fingertips touch my skin sending shivers up my spine.
"What do you want from us?" I cry as he punches a part of my stomach.
"Nothing. I just find this entertaining" he chuckles.
"What are you doing?" A deeper voice yells out. It goes silent. The men quickly stand up and look forward,
"B-boss. We were just having some fun you see"
" terrorizing teenagers, I see. That is fun?" I could here Kody whimpers as he sat on the cold ally floor. The men move giving me front row view of the man who stood there. His cold emerald eyes stared into my soul. He walks up to me grabbing a fistful of my hair gently, he makes me face up at him.
"Looks what we have here" His death staring eyes gave me cold chills. He tries and touch my neck but I pull away giving him a low growl. He chuckles back.
"Why such a attitude towards your adults?"
"Your probably just another asshole like these men" I say, gritting my teeth. The man quickly frowns before grabbing my hair my tightly pulling me up.
"Shit! That hurts, let's go!" I try and slip from his powerful grip but it was no use. A black SUV pulls up. He opens the door,
"Kill the boy and return home" he says.
"NO! KODY" I could see him look at me desperately. The man throws me in the car closing the door. I sit up and look out the window. Kodys body slipped from the mans grip as it fell to the floor. Tears form in my eyes. Kody..

My bestfriend. The boy who had been through everything with me was now gone. The one who would call me even if he was upset with me. The one who let me sneak over when my parents were fighting. The one who checked on me even when he knew I didn't want him to. I was pissed now. The body went up in flames. Right in front of me, my two dearest best-friends were now gone.

             My life would never be the same
