Desti got up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Meggy notices and hugs her.

Meggy: Desti! Thank Cod you're ok! What happened to you? You collapsed in the bathroom earlier, did you have too much of that lemonade?

Desti: No, I didn't, I feel fine.

Meggy: What do you mean you're fine?

Desti: It means I'm fine. I just needed some rest, that's all..

Meggy: Oh..

Desti: Say..where's Y/N?

Meggy: He went with the others.

Then her mind snapped, realizing that he's with the other girls.

Desti: Those rodents won't touch him..I'll make sure of it..

Meggy: Uh, Desti? Helllooooo?

She waved her hand in front of her face, she snapped out of her thoughts and looks over at Meggy.

Desti: Sorry, what was that?

Meggy: Well, do you need anything to eat? Or to drink?

Desti: Oh, no I'm not hungry or thirsty.

Meggy: Alright, well if you change your mind, I made you some oatmeal.

Desti: That's kind of you, thanks.

Meggy: You're welcome.

Meggy leaves to go tell the others Desti is alright.

Desti: If I want him, I gotta act, fast..before it's too late.

Meggy: Hey, guys? I think Desti's ok, she's acting a bit strange, but it's probably from the head injury.

Y/N: Good, I was just about to ask how she is.

Beta: I told Skully that the lemonade was too ripe.

Skully: What? It's my first time, give me a break.

Saiko: I don't think it was the lemonade Beta..

Axol: Head injury had to be the case, what Meggy said.

Meggy: Exactly.

The celebration ends as they don't feel comfortable celebrating due to Desti's injury.

Beta: I'm gonna go clean the kitchen.

Skully: Ok, need help?

Beta: I could use it.

The two left, leaving everyone else to themselves. Soon, Desti came out of Y/N's room, rubing her own head.

Y/N: Hey Desti, are you good?

Desti: O-oh..yeah, I'm good..just a headache, it'll go away.

Axol: Okay, just be more careful.

Desti: Noted.

She leaves to go on the rooftop and brainstorm.

Desti: How can I get Y/N all to myself..everytime I see him, he's always with someone else..

She thinks some more, until an idea pops into her head..a brutal one.

Desti: If I can't get him all to myself...I'll silence the ones who stand in my way.

She giggled to herself and goes back down to check up on Y/N, she became pissed when she saw him and Meggy talking about the upcoming Splatfest.

Desti: So...she likes to talk with my Y/N, Interesting..

Y/N: So you need my help?

Meggy: Sure, if you're not busy.

Y/N: I'll be glad to help, just let me know when you need it.

Meggy: Alright! Thanks again Y/N.

Y/N: No worries.

She left to go to her apartment in Inkopolis to rest up.

Desti: Perfect.

She followed behind, hiding and blending in with the other inklings, as soon as she reaches the apartment, Desti tapped her shoulder, making her flinch.

Meggy: GAH! Oh! It's only you.

Desti: Sorry, say, do you mind if we chat on the roof?

Meggy was confused..

Meggy: Why the roof?

Desti: For no reason, I thought it'd be more private.

Meggy: Uh, sure? Let's go.

Desti lead the way to the rooftop to have a little chat with Meggy.

Meggy: So, what did you wanna talk about?

Desti thinks of a subject.

Desti: How about the upcoming Splatfest? Are you nervous?

Meggy: Now that you've brought it up, kinda, but I think we'll do just fine.

They both lean against the barrier of the roof, staring at the view.

Meggy: What about you? Aren't you nervous?

Desti: You could say that, what would you say would be the most nervous thing about Splatfests?

Meggy thinks for a second before answering.

Meggy: I'd say the fact that Red might mess up...again.

Desti: He's got very little brain.

Meggy: True, but he's average, better than most players I've seen.

As Meggy continued to ramble, Desti uses this time to go behind her, her eyes glowing yellow again.
