when donghyuck first set a foot in school after staying in a psychiatric hospital for a bit more than a week, he didn't recognize the place.

not that it had changed physically. not at all.

the atmosphere had.

it was no longer bubbly, joyful and heart whelming.

it was gloomy, spooky and scary.

donghyuck felt out of place. he didn't want to be here. he would rather go back to the psychiatric hospital. he liked better those plain white walls, that looked like cells rather than those colourful tiles that remembered him of a pool.

he didn't like the stares the people were giving him.

usually, the people would greet him, wave at him...

why were they silent now?

why were they staring?

why were they judging?

it wasn't written on his face, was it? nobody would know that he was coming back from a psychiatric hospital?

why had everyone stopped doing what they were doing to stare at him then?

donghyuck glanced at the end of the hallway where he saw mark lee.

they had broken up a week ago. eleven days ago, exactly.

but he was the only one who didn't seem to care about donghyuck's arrival.

donghyuck walked towards him. if someone could help, it was surely him.

he approached the boy, trying to ignore the disturbing glares of the other people that were once his friends.

"m-mark?" donghyuck whispered when he was five meters away from the boy.

he held out his hand to tap mark's shoulder, but someone got in his way before, standing between him and mark, causing him to back away in fear.

"don't you dare going near mark after what you did!" the boy growled.

"b-but..."

soon, many other students started standing in front of mark, forming a human shield.

"shame on you lee donghyuck! trying to rape someone!" someone yelled.

"you deserve to rot in a psychiatric hospital!" another shouted.

"you should have stayed there and never come back!"

and that's how lee donghyck left the school in tears, with one thing on his mind. one day, he would take his revenge. and it would hurt.
