"Ugh..." Vincent groaned and sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes. He looked around and saw that his notebooks and papers are scattered on the bed and some have fallen on the floor. Hmm... I must have overslept from studying all night. He thought. He looked at his clock and saw that it was 7:43 A.M. "Oh crap! I'm gonna miss the bus!" He exclaimed. He got up from his bed, gathered up all the notebooks and paper and put it in his backpack. He brushed his teeth and washed his face. He brushed his brown hair and looked at himself in the mirror. He smiled, admiring himself. He can't wait to see his friends again and more importantly, he can't wait to see Scott again. He took off his pajamas and put on a white T-shirt with a purple flannel jacket, blue jeans and brown low-heal boots. He rushed downstairs, slinging the backpack over his shoulder and grabbed his lunch bag. "Vincent! Aren't you gonna join us for breakfast?" His mother called out from the kitchen. "Sorry, mom! I'm running late! I'll get breakfast from school!" Vincent called back. He ran out the door and started running down the street to the bus stop.
The last of the students are piling onto the bus when Vincent ran up to them. "Wait!!" He shouted, but the bus doors already closed and the bus started to drive away. Vincent ran after the bus, trying to catch the bus driver's attention, but he didn't see him. Eventually, Vincent got tired and he fell on his knees and he watched as the bus drove off. "Aw, man... I'm gonna be late." He groaned, running his hand through his hair. Then, he heard a familiar voice.
"Do you need a ride?"
Vincent turned around and saw Scott. He was sitting on the driver's seat of his car. Vincent smiled and hopped on the passenger seat. Scott started to drive to their school. Then, Vincent looked at Scott. "Thanks, Scott." He said. "No problem, Vince." Scott said, kissing Vincent's cheek. Vincent chuckled. "I'm so happy to have met Scott. He's so sweet and kind. He's always there to help me with whatever I need. Not to mention, he's full of surprises too. One day, he surprised me with a candlelit dinner and then, a walk on the beach. I know, I know, it's very cliched, but, I think that's very sweet of him. He's honestly the best boyfriend I could ever ask for." He thought.
Soon, they arrived at school. Scott and Vincent got out of the car and went through the double doors of the school. Vincent held Scott's hand as they walked down the crowded hallways. They kept on walking until they found Mike and the others talking. Jeremy saw them and waved. "Hey guys." Vincent said, waving back. "Hey Vincent. Hey Scott." Fritz said. "Thank goodness you're here. What took you guys so long?" Mike asked. "Well, I overslept because I stayed up studying last night, and I missed my bus." Vincent answered. He looked at Scott, blushing. "Luckily, my knight in shining armor came and saved the day." He said, kissing his cheek. Scott blushed. "Hehehe. Yeah." He said, looked at Vincent and smiling.
"Awww, you guys are so cute together!" Fritz squealed. Vincent and Scott looked at Fritz and their blush deepened. He chuckled. "You guys should try out for the school play!" He said. The others looked at each other. "Um... Are you sure that the school would allow two guys to play the princess and the prince?" Jeremy asked. "Yeah, Jeremy's right. Some people at school aren't open minded to two guys being a couple." Kevin said. "Don't worry, Kev. We'll think of something." Mike said. Kevin looked at Mike. "You really think so?" He asked. "Of course." Mike replied.
*RIIIIIIIINNNNNNNG*
The school bell rang. "Well, I guess we have to get to our classes." Fritz said. "Yeah. See you later, guys." Vincent said, waving. "Bye." Everyone else said, waving back. Scott looked at Vincent. "I'll see you at lunch, okay?" He asked. "Okay. See you later, babe." Vincent said, kissing him. Scott smiled and walked away to his class. Vincent sighed happily and walked to his own class, leaving Jeremy and Mike alone. Jeremy was about to go to his class when he saw Mike, blushing. "Um, Mike? Are you okay?" He asked. Mike didn't respond. Jeremy waved his hand in front of his face. "Hellooo? Mikey?" Jeremy called out. Mike snapped out of his trance and looked at Jeremy. "Huh? What? Oh! Hey, Jeremy. You scared me." Mike said. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Jeremy apologized. "Oh, it's okay." Mike said. "Anyways, are you okay?" Jeremy asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." Mike said, looking down. "Are you sure?" Your face is all pink." Jeremy said. Mike noticed this and covered his face. "R-Really, I-I'm fine! D-Don't worry about me." He said, flustered. "Mike, you don't have to lie to me. It's okay. You can tell me anything." Jeremy said, putting his hand on Mike's shoulder. He sighed. "Jeremy... Nothing's wrong. I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me." He said. "I got to get to class. I'll see you later, Jeremy." Mike waved to Jeremy and walked off to his class, leaving Jeremy alone. "What's up with Mike? He never acts like this. I wonder what happened that caused Mike to... act like this." Jeremy thought.
(Here's the first chapter. I'm sorry if it's boring, but this is just the beginning.)
