Jeongguk and yoongi waited impatiently for Taehyung to come back with Jimin but it had been over an hour and still there was no sign of both of them returning.

"Why isn't he back yet!" Jeongguk growled frustratedly, glaring at yoongi who had locked the door so he wouldn't leave and follow Taehyung.

"You should be grateful he knows where Jimin is and is probably making amends from your side, that was a dick move thou" yoongi commented.

"Ugh! Today was supposed to be a good day for us, I had planned so much and then this bastard comes in and ruins it all! He even knew I was leaving for the carnival"

"That is something to think about. He knows you've got a lover but he said his boss doesn't know who so it can't be an insider, probably a snitcher or a rat?" Yoongi said as he made his way back towards the couch.

"That could be it, I would have explained it to jimin but I was so frustrated over the fact that he knows about Jimin, what if he hadn't cought him and I went to the carnival with jimin?" Jeongguk panicked thinking about all the scenarios that could've happened.

"Wow cool down, it's not like you wouldn't be able to protect him"

"But still! All those years I built up my image so no one would dare harm him or go against me but I guess there are still some bastards running around thinking they can beat me" Jeongguk scoffed.

"I thinks it's time you tell him about yourself a bit, he knows the outline of what you do but warn him"

"I'll have to now"

"Did he tell you why he cancelled?" Taehyung reasoned out to a gloomy looking Jimin, who was busy pouting.
Still mad over the fact that after a year he got a chance to visit the outside world but his hopes were crushed again.

"N-no but his words were so harsh Tae, he said he'd k-kill me! Oh but I love him so much, I'd never want to kill him" jimin frustratedly signed and sprawled out over the floor.

"I know his words weren't the sweetest but people tend to say out mean stuff when they're out of their mind" Taehyung said, for jimin it may be metaphorically but for Taehyung it was a literal statement. Jeongguk indeed is out of his mind.

"I just want to go outside, even if its in the garden, I want to breath, I feel so suffocated here. I'm not being disgraceful or anything I love how he takes care if me and gives me everything I need but I want freedom too"

"Give it time okay? Let's solve this out I'm sure he's ready to pop a vein not being able to see you for so long" Taehyung teased as he got up, making jimin giggle.

"No one can stay away from me" jimin sassed back as he got up dusting himself.

"I'll go to our room, just send him there please" Jimin requested and silently made his way out if the hideout and towards his shared room.

As soon as Jeongguk saw Taehyung who informed him about Jimin's whereabouts, he rushed down towards his room. He could see the door parted and knew his muffin was inside. He slowly opened the door to find Jimin scooted back at the edge of the bed.

Jeongguk didn't know what happened but in an instant something clicked inside his messed up brain and the voices quoted out Jimin's words. He had intended to assure jimin and apologize but it all went down the drain when the voices inside got louder, making him doubt Jimin's love towards him.

"He wouldn't have disobeyed you if he loved you"

His dominating steps made Jimin look up and he couldn't help but fear. He recalled his harsh words and the tone in which he spoke to him over the phone call. Jeongguk halted once he stood in the opposite corner and glared down at jimin.

"Where were you? Did you think you could hide away from me? Were you planning to run and leave me! Do you not love me anymore after what I've done for you! HUH! ANSWER ME!" he yelled at the paranoid boy, who clutched his eyes closed not wanting to see this side of Jeongguk.

"I-i just needed space-"

"Space? Do you know how fucking worried I was! DO YOU!" He yelled out again as he glared at the ignorant boy who didn't wish to see him. He was so angered by his actions, he had to leave everything and rush back to see if he was safe.

"I-im sorry" jimin stuttered as he repeatedly wished for this nightmare to end.

"Did you plan to leave me?"

"I-id never l-leave you, I love you" Jimin finally opened his eyes as he stared at the angry figure if his lover and that's when he realized that even if his anger was justified, the worry, conflict and regret he saw within Jeongguks black orbs was enough to assure him that the man yelling at him was not because of anger but because of worry.

"you love me?" Jeongguk snarled as he glared at the terrified boy shivering at the far end of the cushioned bed.

"Y-yes I d-do" jimin said truthfully but couldn't help and stuttered fearfully as he tried to scoot back.

"Good then keep on loving me, I better not find you even decreasing a 0.1% of your love for me, am I clear Muffin?" Jeongguk said and after hearing the endearment Jimin knew Jeongguk wasn't angry at him anymore.

Jeongguk eyes softened when he saw his love flinch Back at the tone of his voice and immediately the voices screaming inside his head vanished and he came back to his senses realizing what he did. His eyes filled with regret as he leaned towards the shaking figure to caresse the soft flesh that was damped with tears.

Jimin hurriedly nodded, internally agreeing to it because even if Jeongguk scares him at times, he's still the one who saved him from his mother, gave him a place to live and more over loves him so much.

"I need to hear you muffin" Jeongguk cooed as he leaned down and pecked his forehead that surprisingly comforted the younger.

"Y-yes, I'll love you forever J-jeongguk" jimin assured him as he tried to give a comforting smile but Jeongguk wasn't satisfied by it. He was hurt to hear Jimin stutter and his voice laced with fear and above all he called him Jeongguk.

"Call me Ggukie not Jeongguk, you're the only one allowed to address me that way"

"I'll love you forever Ggukie, I promise" jimin said, feeling proud for voicing out his love without stuttering.

Jeongguk stared down at the familiar comforting smile and sat down besides jimin, taking his small hands between his larger ones. Jimin decided to stay quite, not wanting to argue anymore.

"I'm sorry" Jeongguk said, his voice hardly coming out as a whisper but jimin was able to catch it.

"Huh?"

"I said I'm sorry. I'm sorry for how I behaved and talked to you over our call, I'm sorry for yelling at you and using that tone. I'm sorry for cancelling out and i regret even using such words to threaten you" Jeongguk confessed and prepared himself to get Jimin's soft punches or a slap, anything! But jimin just looked down.

"No! Don't avoid me, look at me" Jeongguk begged and lifted Jimin's chin to look at his moistened eyes that had tears brimming at the edge, not yet falling down.

"I wasn't thinking what I said that! Baby look at me you know I'll never harm you, I love you so fucking much, if only I could explain to you what happened" jimin could hear the sincerity behind his voice and finally clutched Jeongguks hands as well.

"Then tell me, I'm here to listen, I'm not leaving you but I need to know so I know when you mean something or not" Jeongguk was glad to hear the soft voice and decided it's better to tell him a bit.

"Fine but don't freak out, I'll protect you okay" jimin quickly nodded and encouraged him to continue.

"I had planned a wonderful outing for us but when I was about to leave my men found this guy wondering near our forest. He was a spy and he knew that I have something precious to me, something so precious that my enemy could use against me and I can't put you in danger. They still don't know who you are or what you look like, so you're safe but they knew I had someone and that we were supposed to go out today. I just couldn't risk your life, I'm sorry I was harsh but I was too frustrated at that moment" Jeongguk explained in the nicest way he could so jimin won't freak out.

"You could've told me that before Ggukie! I'm not worried about me because I know you won't let anything happen to me! But I'm worried about us, I don't want to loose you Ggukie" jimin confessed as he teared up.

"Don't worry something like this won't happen again. I can't make such promises but I'll try not to and I'll be yours and love you forever muffin" Jeongguk promised and sealed it with a meaningful kiss on the younger's soft plump lips.

Jimin didn't wait another second before responding to the gentle promising kiss as he forgot the events that happened and welcomed himself to the blissful feeling of Jeongguks lips moulding perfectly against his. And by now he knows he can't stop loving him, he accepted him how he is because even if he was a monster for the rest but when it comes to him, he made sure to treasure him, take care of him and above all love him.

They boy accepted each other how they are. Jimin accepted how fucked up and dangerous Jeongguk was and Jeongguk accepted the innocence and the personality Jimin held. He knew it since the first time his eyes landed over a small chubby kid waiting patiently in the park for his mother.

The kiss was getting more heated as Jeongguk guided his huge hands down towards Jimin's peachy ass and felt the soft flesh. Jimin broke off the kiss and looked up at Jeongguk with lewed eyes.

"Now lay back down and allow me to show you how much I love you Muffin"
