The next day, after breakfast, Jeongguk took Jimin to the hospital to get his checkup done. Both were feeling nervous but for different reasons however none of them exposed their feelings.

"Please have a seat" the Doctor politely welcomed the new couple inside his cabin. Jeongguk curiously looked around while Jimin went straight to his seat, too excited to observe the lab.

"so how are you feeling Jimin? Any morning sickness or headaches?" the doctor asked as he took out a new folder for Jimin. Jeongguk was now sitting besides him as he listened carefully to all the questions the old man asked.

"morning sickness yes but not any headaches"

"okay... so what about mood swings?"

"nope none of those" Jimin replied politely but Jeongguk had to scoff at that white lie.

"I see someone doesn't agree to that so I'll take that as a yes" Dr. Grench remarked once he saw Jimin glare at Jeongguk.

"I don't have mood swings Doctor, Gguk here just has low tolerance level"

"I DO NOT!" Jeongguk yelled slightly offended by Jimins perspective. He has been so patient with the younger, agreeing to stupid color themes for the room, ordering late night snacks, buying useless stuff that they won't need till it's the 9th month.

"See" Jimin pointed towards Jeongguk making sure to put his innocent face to use.

"Anyhow why don't we move towards the ultrasound? Do you want to see your little bean?" Dr. Grench cut them off before they start to fight inside his hospital and disturb the other patients.

"yes!" Jimin replied as he got up and ran towards the hospital bed.

Once he was comfortable Jeongguk made his way towards him and sat down next to his baby. He could feel how nervous Jimin was by looking at his small hands that were fisting the white bed sheets and his plump lips that were red from all the biting, a habit he picked to show his nervousness.

"Are you nervous?" Jeongguk whispered softly as took Jimins soft hand between his warm ones, smiling down at his muffin who was busy biting his lips out of nervousness.

"A-a bit" Jimin stuttered back as his eyes darted from the small blank screen towards Jeongguk.

"Don't worry...I'm also nervous but it's going to be okay" Jeongguk assured him and patted his hand softly giving Jimin a small assuring smile.

"What if we have twins!"

"Uh... Let's hope it's just one bean inside you" Jeongguk nervously laughed.

"Let's find out shall we" The Doctor came back holding a small tube in his hands.

"Okay so lift up your shirt a bit and I'm going to apply this gel over your stomach" he instructed Jimin as he grabbed the ultrasound transducer.

"Will it burn?" Jimin nervously asked as he lifted up his shirt a bit. Jeongguk diverted his eyes away from Jimins exposed stomach as he tried his best not to poke his soft tummy.

"Oh no... It won't burn but it will be a bit cold" he assured Jimin as he applied a decent amount of cold gel over Jimins exposed stomach, making the said boy shiver from the cold contact.

"Now I'm going to press this over your stomach so try not to move much okay" he warned Jimin and brought the ultrasound transducer near Jimin and pressed it on top of his skin.

Jimin flinched a bit when the old man started to press a bit harder over his stomach but decided to stay quiet. Jeongguk sat next to Jimin, observing everything closely. Just like Jimin this was new to him and even thou he trusted Dr. Grench he had to stay alert just in case.

"You okay there?" Jeongguk asked Jimin who gave him a small nod as his eyes scanned the small monitor.

"Aha! Look at there" the doctor excitedly said as he pointed towards the small black bean on the monitor.

"That's your baby Jimin"

Both Jimin and Jeongguks eyes were glued at the black and white screen as they desperately tried to find the small bean the doctor pointed out but sadly their eyes weren't able to differentiate. Fat tears started to Cascade down Jimins cheeks once he realized he couldn't see the small "bean" the doctor was pointing out.

"I-i can't see it! Where's my baby!" Jimin started to yell and was about to get up to grab Dr. Grenchs collar but Jeongguk stopped him holding him down.

"Calm down the baby is here you just can't see it"

"No! How can he see it but not me! It's my baby and I want to see my baby! What if he's lying! There's no ba-"

"JIMIN!" Jeongguk shouted, his voice booming inside the spacious room, making Jimin halt his tantrum.

"B-but my baby" Jimin pouted as he pointed towards his stomach.

"The baby is here... Look this small white dot" the doctor pointed this time his finger touched the monitors screen.

"Oh look! There's my baby!" Jimin excitedly clapped his hands and wiped off his tears. Jeongguk relaxed a bit once the situation was under control and looked at the small screen.

"Yeah...that's our baby" Jeongguk got up and softly kissed Jimins forehead who was now caressing his swollen belly as he admired the small bean. He's going to be a father soon.

"You scared us there doctor" Jimin giggled as he wiped the cold gel off and tugged down his shirt.

"Oh trust me you scared me too" the doctor mumbled hoping they didn't hear him as he guided the two back to his table.

"The baby looks healthy so far. I'll give you a print out of your first scan and prescribe you some medicines that you have to take"

"I'll make sure he takes everything. Is there something that he should avoid and be careful?" Jeongguk asked while Jimin stood in front of the printer waiting for his scan to come out.

"Ah yes, no alcohol, drugs and raw eggs. They can kill the small fetus inside him. He shouldn't stress much right now but a daily walk should be kept constant. Try to hold back on caffeine and junk food, he should have lots of fruits and milk thou."

"Oh thank you I'll make sure of that"

"Well if everything seems to be okay I'll meet you two after 3 weeks for his monthly checkup, you're free to go" the old man said handing over the list of medicines to Jeongguk.

"Got it!" Jimin yelled once he pulled out his scan and grabbed a black pen from the desk making a circled around his baby, in case he forgets where it was.

"Well thank you Doctor we'll take out leave now" Jeongguk nodded and carefully guided Jimin back to their car. Jimin ignored his surroundings as his eyes were glued towards the small fetus scan in his hands.

"I'll make a scrap book and frame this scan inside it Gguk. Then I'll make a small entry of my days and things we will buy so when our baby is old enough to read we can gift it to him!" Jimin excitedly told his ideas to Jeongguk, already imagining their future.

"Of course that would be great muffin" Jeongguk agreed, ignoring the slight discomfort he felt by the uncertain future ahead of them, as he landed a soft kiss over Jimins head.

"I can't wait to find the gender! Then I'll buy all it's baby cloths, bag, cot and stuff toys!"

"Of course and then you'll forget me and take care of your baby all the time" Jeongguk remarked, his jealousy rising up a bit.

"This will be our baby Gguk! You're going to love it as much as I will and you'll see you will be spending more time with our baby than me" Jimin assured him as he got out of their car.

"I need to go somewhere so try not to get into trouble okay" Jeongguk warned him before ushering his driver to start the car again.

It was around noon when Jimin started to crave for some coffee and chicken cheese patties. He tried to find anything similar to that inside the kitchen but it was pointless. Jin hyungs used to stuff their fridge with food but he's gone for a while.

So he made his way towards his next option, that was sprawled over the sofa busy on his phone.

"I want to go out" Jimin saidand poked yeonjun on his shoulder.

"So what?" He replied annoyed by the sudden distraction. Before Jimin disturbed him he was busy watching a movie on his phone.

"But Gguk said if I need to go out I need to take you with me so get up before i tell him" Jimin threatened him, earning a glare from the younger as he got up grabbing his keys.

"Come hyungs, honestly you're a spoiled brat"

"I'm not! You're just mean" Jimin retorted back offended by yeonjuns rude accusations. He wasn't a brat or spoiled. He hardly asked for anything from Jeongguk. It was always him who got Jimin stuff.

"Sure i am, get inside Hyung" Yeonjun said as he opened his car door for Jimin.

"I don't know why you're being rude to me when I'm clearly being very nice and welcoming towards you. You don't know what I've been through and what I'm going through so you have no right to judge or drop those rude accusations on me. Please drive me to the nearest Cafe" Jimin replied back and turned towards his mirror, ignoring Yeonjun who was surprised by his answer.

The small drive was filled with uncomfortable silence that bothered both the passengers but none of them decided to lighten it up.

Once they reached the small Cafe Jimin got out of the car and made his way inside. The younger had to follow him inside.

"Can I take your order sir?"

"Umm I'd like to have one light cream coffee with two chicken cheese patties!" Jimin gave his order and turned around to ask if Yeonjun wanted something.

"Do you want something?"

"I can buy one for myself if I want to have one" he replied and ignored Jimin making his way back to a secluded table.

"Sorry about him that would be all" Jimin bowed down and made his way back after paying. Jimin sat down in front of Yeonjun who was busy texting on his phone.

"I need to visit a store near by wait for me here and don't leave untill I come and get you okay?" He said as he got up. Jimin gave him a small nod and continued to wait till his order came, not yet aware of the two eyes following his every move.

"I thought I saw a familiar face" a familiar voice called out making Jimin turn around to find the same man he met at the shop.

"Oh Jack! What are you doing here?" Jimin excitedly asked as he got up to greet the man. Jack took the exam hand and shook his hand.

"Oh I just came to eat something. My niece left me so I got nothing to do" he pouted and sat down next to Jimin.

"Aww it's okay. I can see you adore her a lot" Jimin smiled as he saw a waiter come to set down his order.

"I do. So what are you doing here?"

"Well I wanted to eat something cheesy and hot so I thought why not. I also need to gift something to Jeongguk but I can't decide what to give him" Jimin told him as he took a bite of the delicious Pattie.

"Who's Jeongguk?"

"Oh Gguk... He's my soulmate" Jimin smiled, not noticing the obvious glare on Jack's face.

"Get him a shirt or a pendent. If I were him I'd like to have that"

"Oh thank you! You made it so easier"

"So does this guy treats you well? Is he nice and caring?"

"Um it's a bit complicated but I'm happy with him. He takes care of me, he understands me and above all he loves and accepts me."

"Well that's great-" Jack replied but stopped when he heard his phone. He looked down to see the new text and gave Jimin an apologetic smile.

"As much as I enjoyed talking to you Jimin, I need to get back"

"Oh it's okay. It was nice talking to you to" Jimin replied and continued to eat his meal while Jack went out.

As soon as he was gone he saw Yeonjun approach him looking at him worriedly.

"Let's go Hyung"

"Wait I need to buy something from the jewelry store can we make a stop there?" Jimin asked getting up as he grabbed his coffee.

"Make it quick Hyung"

"Yes!"
