New York City was the city that never slept. No matter the time, day or night, what the weather was like New York was always buzzing.

Know by its nickname The Big Apple and its famous landmarks Times Square, Empire State Building, Statue Of Liberty and Central Park, New York City was a popular place in America to visit.

Many people wanted to live there, hoping to enjoy the hussle and bussle of the city. But for one, they didn't want to stay in the busy city life any longer.

Sophia had lived in New York City since she was 8 and while she loved it there the city was starting to bore her. It was the same thing day in and day out.

Her work wasn't as exciting, her friends just did the same ridiculous predictable things and her love life was dry. That adrenaline that gave her life had vanished.

But where could she move to in a hurry?

After doing some research, Sophia settled on moving to Edinburgh, Scotland. While it was somewhat similar to New York with the busy city life, Sophia just wanted something different.

Something that gave her adrenaline again.

She had looked at photos of Edinburgh, Scotland and she was amazed. Edinburgh was beautiful and had the most amazing buildings.

Sophia knew she had found the perfect place to start living her new life. So with the location set, Sophia began organising everything.

From selling her apartment to applying for citizenship Sophia made sure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner.

Although it was a hard decision, Sophia needed that change of pace in her life. Her sense of direction needed that change aswell.

Years earlier, Sophia had graduated collage with a degree in journalism but she had never pursued that career. Instead she chose to work for a software company as an editor by day and a bartender by night.

Both paid a decent amount of money, her bosses seemed okay and the co-workers were friendly enough. But over time, it became boring and her heart wasn't in it anymore.

Crossing the job road would come later when Sophia did move to Edinburgh. If only she had chosen better.
