Chapter 36 - Facades and Meetings

Abba presses a button on his communication device, the one that all the Generals have.

"Let them in."

"Wow! I've never eaten fancy before." Yeethelle says.

"We're not eating." Charlotte whispers to her after holding onto her shoulder.

"Welcome. I'd like everyone to know each other first. The man of the hour, Richard McCree. Sit here." Abba tells Richard as he readies a seat very similar to his.

"Charlotte Smith and Hirohiko Smirnov. My former 'business' associates, welcome. Please introduce to us your children."

"Hello Abba. I hate it to admit it, but you're kind of always the guy with a plan. I hope this agreement ends well for both our parties. By the way, these two aren't our children. But we are kinda like family. You can just call the girl Yeethelle and the boy Kodak." she adds.

"Hello!!!" Yeethelle says while trying to act shy.

No one seemed to really care as silence followed her greeting. Mr. Blue then smiles and waves at her.

"Lastly, we have a quite suspicious guest this evening. I made sure he isn't wiretapped tonight though. A product of our enemy's atrocities, Agent Derrick Campbell."

"That wasn't a very respectful introduction."

"We don't respect our enemies. But maybe you could be the exception. Fight the good fight this time. We don't want you breaking into our facilities and murdering our crew anytime soon. Now let me introduce these people to all of you myself. We have Mister Blue, Mister Azul, Miss Ghost, Mister No Name, Miss Crystal and Mister Rain, The Generals of The Psychic Revolution. You already know who I am so let us proceed."

"We have discovered important establishments that you can take advantage of. Since we don't know where Lord Henry and his accomplices are located, we'll just have to tell him your location. That location of course could be anywhere, giving us a slight advantage. From there, you can strategically take him out."

"So what do you do?" Charlotte asks him.

"Care to elaborate Miss Smith?"

"What do you do? We're not gonna beat him if it's just going to be us again. We already lost two of us and we're not surrendering ourselves in a hopeless fight against this evil. Unless you help us fight him, our time left in this world can now be counted. Yes, Richard may weaken him, but how about his other accomplices. They're REALLY strong."

"Oh come on Charlotte, you and Hirohiko used to be a powerhouse before. They're not as strong as the Lord."

"Yeah you're right, they're not as strong as him. But they are still stronger than your average psychic. They got some kind of blood in them."

The Generals start to glare at Abba and they keep giving off facial expressions that pressure him. But deep inside, they all knew it was just an act and they're doing pretty good so far.

"Then I'll send in The War Hounds. They are a special task force dispensed only to start a war and reap it of its spoils. I guess we can consider this encounter with the Lord an all-out war against him."

"Who exactly are these War Hounds?"

"They're like an army of psychics that specialize in combat. They also have military-grade equipment and supplies. They are trained to kill, destroy and bring carnage to wherever. Not exactly fitting with what The Revolution has been doing, but we need to be prepared for any kind of battle. I mean, there has to be at least a few more individuals like Agent Campbell under the American government's wing. They even had projects that convert completely normal individuals to our kind just for their selfish endeavors. Most of them used to be little kids, so they must've grown up now."

Kodak had a visible dismay towards the topic and so does Agent Campbell.

"So does that sound like a good deal?"

"All of this sounds so simple even if the process is so complex. Sounds like your plan for the heist Abba. What's up with this plan? I know you won't do anything that won't benefit you." Hirohiko tells him.

"Lord Henry's defeat is a benefit to The Revolution. Unbeknownst to you and the other guests, Lord Henry has been bothering our operations in his search of the holders of a Queen's blood and now he's only missing one of them right? That one is Richard McCree. We do not know of any other possible reasons for his rare Pokemon hunting besides getting powerful psychics to his side. No matter what his reason is, he has to be stopped."

"Impossible. He's that old and he knows Pokemon." Kodak whispers at Yeethelle.

"Then I guess l'm agreeing, but don't you dare stab us in the back. Doing things like that usually don't end up well for you. We thought Freddie was dead because of you. Then after a year of just knowing he's still actually alive, he died. For real this time. You didn't care for his first death and neither will you of his second. So what does that make us? This means you don't care about us too, we're going to face him and we're going to die. And even if we don't, you'll find a way to ruin things for us. We got to know the REAL you before you get all high and mighty in this institution you've built. You won't care if any of your Generals die just as you don't care about psychics that die just so you could sell some paintings. You may have even kept that one you talked to." Hirohiko tells Abba.

"That doesn't sound like you are agreeing, Hirohiko."

"I am agreeing. I'm just saying that if I ever got a hunch of you pulling some threads behind our backs that also risks all of our lives, I'm out."

"You are free to speculate Hirohiko, I'm just glad that we got into an agreement. No one else from your party doesn't look like they're going to say something."

"We'll be going now. We're gonna start doing our chores tonight." Charlotte says.

"Alright, then. Goodluck, Richard."

"Yeah, sure." Richard replies to him.

They all went out, leaving only The Generals and their Leader once more.

"Be there in five." Abba commands them all.

After pressing another button at his special device, the lights went out again for five seconds. They were all gone afterwards.

Another green tent rests on the top of another building under construction.

All the thin steel chairs encircling a round table were empty, except for one.

Mister Blue and Mister Azul went in the tent first, both dressed in black suits with a blue turtleneck shirt inside.

Mister Rain then follows, now wearing a yellow raincoat whilst carrying a yellow umbrella.

Miss Crystal follows, wearing a formal dress with a sleek crystalline design.

Miss Ghost follows, wearing casuals and a black hoodie.

Mister No Name comes in last with a donut in his hand and his usual The Man With No Name costume.

"This is quite a nostalgic setup, Abba. You may care for us after all." Mr. Rain says.

"Wearing these costumes kind of gives me a sense of individuality, but all of us wearing costumes gives me a sense of unity and camaraderie. Now let's cooperatively take care of some radio towers, shall we?"
