Hiya class!

It's been so long since our last lecture 😅

Nope, I didn't take a maternity leave . . . I think I just had a bit of a block and that's even because I'm a lazy slow poke 🤪

During my absence from our lectures I heard Covid19 happened 🤧  It's so awful. The lockdown and everything. Yeah, some people are benefiting from this lockdown but those are in the minority. 90% of the people are suffering because of this virus 🤕

In January and February, us we just heard news about some country plagued with a virus, who knew it was going to spread worldwide and become a pandemic of the century?😪 😪

It was unbelievable when one day we just woke up and the uni ordered us all to vacate the campus in a limited time (we were told we'd be back in a month, though . . . but then we didn't . .) then I knew this corona virus was getting serious. Then travel ban and national lockdown commenced. People panicked up and down . . It was very bad 😣 😞

Most people didn't see it coming, believe me 😒

If the Christians had been told they wouldn't go to church to celebrate Palm Sunday or spend Easter with their loved ones, wouldn't they have looked at you and laughed?
If they had been told Jerusalem day was going to be indoors, wouldn't they have called you an anti-christ?

If the Muslims had been told that one day the Ka'abah would be empty, then scanty, wouldn't they have said Astagfirullah?
If they had been told this year's Ramadan would be spent indoors listening to eTafseer, would they have believed?
If they had been told that Eid al-Fitr this year might be indoors, wouldn't they have laughed too?

*Sighs* ☹️

I remember late last year, a little boy was selling 2020 calendars and he kept shouting “Come and buy your 2020 calendar! This one has plenty holidays o!” I didn't believe him then . . . who knew he was a seer 🥴 🤧

A friend suggested we deleted this version of 2020 and download a new one because this one has virus . . . I support that, but how we gon' do that? 🤷🏽‍♀️

Now everyone be wearing face masks up and down (If facemask had been told last year that he was going to become very popular, he wouldn't have believed it 😷)

Before, when anybody sneezes, you say Bless you or Yar hamukaLlah, now if someone does, you step away and cover your own nose 🤧🥴

You guys please stay home and stay safe — that's the best option for most peeps now.

Don't forget to take to the safety precautions;
Wash your hands regularly,
Avoid touching your nose and mouth,
Observe the social distancing rules,
Etc.

And, Dear Theists, don't stop putting this deadly virus in your prayers, pray that an antidote is found very soon.
Pray God eradicates it the half year is over.
Pray He heals those that have been tested for it.
Pray that He comforts the families of those that had fallen victim to it.
Pray that He evens the economic scales again and make things go back to normal.

My fellow Muslim Brothers and Sisters, this last ten days of Ramadan are the most blessed days of the year, while you're praying for yourselves and your family, endeavour to put Covid19 in your prayers and I know that God will answer,
For he is All-Seeing and All-Hearing.

And, Dear Atheists, you can help, too. By staying at home and staying safe.

I pray that all our prayers are answered.
