The room was filled with tense silence.

Shane shifted uneasily, juggling his body weight from toe to toe.

The collar was attached tightly to the Professor's wrist now.

She was watching with intensity; her eyes flashed like twin pieces of steel.

The light on the collar started to flash, blinking on and off.

There was a stab of panic in the Professor's eyes. Her arm flew forward, grabbing onto the collar and yanking it off with great force.

Then clutched it in her hands.

From the center-part of the collar - the part that had been positioned on the students' neck - a knife-like protrusion had flicked out, similarly to a switch blade.

Shane moved forward, eager to get a better look at the blade.

Upon closer inspection, he discovered that it was a sort of syringe.

"They're injecting something," Shane realised, "they're injecting something into the students."

"This cannot be good," Professor Seabend said, "I have to get to the office, warn the other teachers."

"What about us?" Shane asked.

The Professor was quiet for a while, thinking about the situation.

Finally, she spoke.

"You must come with me. I can't leave you here."

The group made their way towrds the office, moving slowly and cautiously.

At one point, they walked around a corner of a building and ran into an isolated Onyx Officer.

Fortunately, they were facing the other way.

Before the agent could even react, Professor Seabend had used her Telekinesis to pick up a rock and struck the back of the Officer's head.

With a sharp groan, they keeled over and fell to the ground.

Professor Seabend continued to attack - one, two more strikes. When she was sure that the Officer was unconscious, she motioned for Shane, Fernando, and Luciana to move forward.

On their way to the office, they didn't encounter any more Onyx Officers. Eventually, they arrived at their destination.

The Professor tried the door. It wouldn't budge; it was securely locked.

"I have three of the kids with me! Let me in!"

A head peeped out of the office window - Mr Fujimoto.

His eyes lit up with recognition when he saw Professor Seabend.

Then his head disappeared.

A moment later, there was the sound of the door being unlocked. It swung open, and the four of them were ushered inside.

Sylver here! So somehow I actually missed uploading one of my chapters... that explains why the turn of events may have not made sense.
